Hi all

Currently TTC #1 and on my first cycle.

Have been tracking using OPKs and mobile-apps, and by estimation should have ovulated today / yesterday!

I loved following these threads as we prepared to start trying, if anyone would like to join.

@ginandgiggles im doing alright still Bfn and no AF now 1 day late but as this our first ttc after the mirena i have no idea what is normal for my cycle.

Happy Saturday everyone! Any more symptoms from anyone? I did a frer yesterday morning at 10dpo which was BFN. I’ve just noticed a bit of spotting when I wipe at 11dpo. Not noticed this before AF before so I’m not sure If I’m having a short LP

11DPO for me today, and another BFN @JJod30! To be honest between the wedding stress and lack of symptoms it wasn't a surprise.

I did have a bit of darker discharge this morning similar to before AF appearing which seems a bit early. I've also strained muscles in both hips (on two separate mornings rolling over in bed, you'd swear I was 68 instead of 28 🙄), so not sure if I am confusing muscle pain with cramps. 😅

Are you going to test again today or tomorrow, or just wait and see what happens?

So today's test is faint im CD32/ AF 2-3 days late..think I may have a bfp but will be going for tests to double check.

I bought tests in bulk of ebay and the reviews aren't great, some don't show positive or some show positive when it isn't so I will be taking a trip to asda today 😅

I've posted the photo but camera quality is terrible 🙈

I can definitely see something there! And usually my line eyes are terrible lol.

@yellowmoon487 I didn’t get a chance to test again as I woke in the night with normal red AF flow. That’s me out for this month then. How did you manage to strain your hips like that haha! I hope you have better luck then me these next few days x

AF arrived for me this morning too, so I'm also out for July - we are definitely cycle twins @Jod30 😂

My first cycle this month was only about 24 days- this seems pretty short considering I didn't ovulate until CD13 so my luteal phase was only about 10 days...does anyone have any experience of shorter cycles like this?
My app says I am due to ovulate CD11 this month which sounds more normal for a shorter cycle.

@yellowmoon487 sorry to hear that but yes definitely cycle twins. My literal phase was 10/11 days this time too. Very strange, possibly due to my chemical last month or maybe the hot weather is messing with us!

That me officially out af finally arrived tonight a week later than expected. Time to restart the process 🥰

CD4 for me here, so the start of the week was a bit rough with cramping but seem to be over the worst of it now thankfully. I haven't had normal actual periods (without being on contraception) in such a long time I forgot how painful it is!
I'll be back to tracking ovulation probably at the end of the week -hope everyone is keeping well!

Hello girls, hope everyone is well this month!

Bit of a weird one for me - CD15 today and still no sign of a high or peak reading on the OPKs. Hoping I'm just having a weird cycle and ovulating late, and that I'm not entirely out yet!

How is everyone else getting on?

@yellowmoon487 hello, long time no speak on this group! I got my peak OPK yesterday on CD16 which is a couple days earlier than my last cycle. Hopefully you will get yours in the next couple days. Now on to the TWW where time fees like it goes backwards 😂

Hi both!

Finally got a peak on Wednesday so into the TWW today. Have a few wedding bits to get sorted that will hopefully save me from obsessing lol. App is estimating my next period on the 18th August so as usual will try to hold off testing until then.
My LP last month was only 10 days so could be as early as the 14th, though this cycle is nothing like the last 🙄

@yellowmoon487 your cycle sounds very similar to mine with the short LP last month. Mine was 11/12 days. Glad you finally got your positive OPK! Happy Wedding preparations

Hi All!

I got a faint positive last month and then the mother of all AF's three days later so back on the ole cycle. currently on 6DPO but am going to try super hard to not symptom spot. How is everyone doing

4DPO here so all fairly quiet!

When does everyone plan on testing?

@yellowmoon487 6dpo for me and no signs of anything yet. Think I will test at the weekend so 11/12dpo. How about yourself?

Think I am going to hold out as long as I can to be honest! I am due AF between the 14th and the 18th, so not entirely too long to wait. I haven't felt the itch to start testing as of yet, but I am only 7DPO so at the back of my mind I know it would be a waste of time anyway. Have a busy weekend coming up too so hope I will be distracted 😂No real symptoms as of yet, aside from some mild cramping this morning which could really be anything.
How are you feeling?

@yellowmoon487 9dpo for me today and I think I’ll be tempted to test in the morning even though I know it’s still early and I have no symptoms whatsoever 😂 can’t resist! Enjoy your weekend and hopefully you’ll get some good news early next week

Hey @yellowmoon487 all good here thanks. 8 weeks now and so very sick! I know it's worth it in the end but it's exhausting!

@yellowmoon487 I've got a private one booked for a couple of weeks time. Was just going to wait until the 12 week scan but it honestly feels like the longest 8 weeks from finding out until that scan!

I'm 7dpo and every night I'm Googling symptoms. I even went to boots to by a first response and my DH was like no you got so tests at home it's such a long wait but I'm hoping it's a worthy one!!
