@NiceToChat88 I find it pretty reliable yep but you have to have the right thermometer and be really strict about taking your temp at almost exactly the same time every day, before you move or get out of bed etc. Here's a pic of my chart so far this month, you can see a clear shift from pre ovulation to post.

My temp stays up a bit until mid period usually. I think this is unusual in that it's meant to dip just before AF starts but you can see the fall at the start of the cycle 😊

@NiceToChat88 ive only done it for the first time this month so I'm far from an expert... My chart indicates I ovulated on CD13 but I got my peak on my OPK on CD14 so it could be either of those I guess. That being said, last month I had no clue if and when I ovulated as I was using dud OPK's so a combination of charting and new OPK's has reassured me this month. It's also helpful to have other symptoms noted down against each CD so you can start to recognise your CM patterns etc in line with how your temp is looking. X

EWCM today at D4PO, I usually only get it around ovulation, I already had a positive LH on Sunday??

@RugbyGirl1My temps are still high 13dpo and I am due AF Saturday or Sunday. I started spotting yesterday, so I was delighted that the spotting didn't happen sooner in my luteal phase.

@ExPatHereForAChat OMG! I do the same thing! I have to say fmu testing is tough in the wee hours 😏I literally try to look at the test half asleep and my eyes won't focus... Everything is blurry... Out pops my phone... Torch on... Still can't see properly.... why do I do this to myself 😩

@Orangesaretheonly e Welcome to the 2WW 😊 my advice is to at least rest and recharge for the first part 😄

@LorrenK it's possible that you had a LH rise on sunday but didn't ovulate that time and now it's on the rise again to gear up to try again. As @Aurora81 suggested I'd be tempted to do an OPK to see what your LH is doing

@Aurora81 your chart is looking good too! Hope your BBT continues to rise! Ohh when are you going to test if you're due tomorrow or Sunday?

@Aurora81 thanks, she said CM is normal after ovulation so that is reassuring… OPK very negative so I won’t read too much into it… i’m pretty sure ovulation happened on Monday/Tuesday!

@Summerbreeze111 could it be when your testing? I got my peak on day 15 but morning of day 13 was very faint so sounds simmilar to me if you ovulate day 18.
I also had cramps before which I dont usually get but maybe were just paying more attention! I think Im dpo1 now temp has risen

theres more browny/dark streaks in cm this evening. I have a suspicion AF is going to show which would be very odd as I always have a 12day LP, and would make this cycle 21/22days!!!

@Mummyme87 it's funny you say this, last cycle I had something very similar. I had some really light red/watery spotting only when I wiped two days before my period (CD22). It Lasted just a few hours and then nothing for two days and then AF arrived. It has never happened to me before

7 dpo and resisted testing today. What days do you guys usually test?

I find Fertility Friend to be the best for inputting bbt. It gives a very clear visual sense of the temps.

@Louise34mum I try to wait until 12dpo, but if I feel like I am pregnant I do test earlier than that... Approximately 10dpo.

@Mummyme87 sometimes our bodies throw an annoying curve ball. Could be implantation seeing as it's brown meaning old blood. Have you had this kind of discharge before?

@Louise34mum I'm trying to only test if I'm late. Currently 11 DPO. It is hard to resist but I can't deal with squinting at maybe lines either!

@Aurora81 i do get it a day before AF but this would be early. No more this evening. I will test tomorrow and if it’s negative I’m resigned to being out and not testing again. I’m hoping it’s implantation bleeding but I know it could easily not be

@NSx I found I was getting obsessed over analysing every slight increase or decrease so decided not to this month!

@Orangesaretheonly interesting, thanks! I've had pain yesterday and today but I have endometriosis so random pain can happen at any time and no idea if it's relevant or not for me 😂

How often do you guys OPK if you use the clear blue digitals?

I usually get a positive in the evening on the strip tests.

got a flashing smiley on clear blue today and wondering if I should test morning and evening from today or just evening.

don’t want to miss peak. I’m on CD 12. Latest I usually ovulate is cd 18 so guessing fertile window starts from now on anyway.

@Charl881@Charl881ay with the clear blue digital ovulation test with FMU. The purple ones. I got a low Cd 9, high cd 10

@Charl881 my phone at it again 🙄 once a day with the CB digital ovulation test. I got a low cd8, high CD 9 & 10 and a peak cd 11 this cycle. Ovulation confirmed by fertility friend on cd 12.

@RugbyGirl1 I tested yesterday 12dpo and I got a BFN. I expect my temp to drop in the morning, and AF to arrive either tomorrow or Sunday. I am ready to let go of this cycle and move on to the next ✨

@Tropicana1 a month off btt will let you know if you want to do it or not. I am trying to monitor my luteal phase, so I find it useful to see what my temps do and also I like to record any spotting I get in conjunction with the temps.

@Tropicana1 thats how I felt this month & I’m pretty sure aF is coming/due Sunday so not sure if it’s worth the drama 😂😂😂
