I think the rule of thumb is that if it doesn't have any colour aka pink then it's an evap line. Its hard to tell from the picture and I know that in reality the line is more visible. It used to drive me mad when I would see a faint line bit the camera wouldn't capture it properly.

Can anyone recommend a good brand for the cheap test strip pregnancy tests?

@Dogmum13 I use these and they’ve never ever given me an evap or any false result - if it’s been blank it’s bfn (or too early), if anything is there it’s a bfp. No false lines. Lovely and straightforward unlike frers by the sounds of things! Super cheap too.

@Mummyme87 I got my peak today to thinking I will ovulate tomorrow. Had ovulation pain today too. We dtd last night, although only later at night once my OH had cooled down lol. Hope he's up for some more tonight and tomorrow. At least it's cooler now. TTC during a heatwave is definitely harder!

@Dogmum13 you're not out until AF arrives. Are you sure on your ovulation date? You never know.... Especially with your symptoms!

@cavebaby my temps don't drop until a day or two after my period starts but I have a short luteal phase at 10 days so think that's why?

Also, just saw that you’re about 12dpo. With my DD I tested negative at 12dpo and bfp at 13dpo so there’s still hope :)

@Dogmum13 I'm sorry about your BFN- I've been there many times before and it's absolutely devastating. Getting pregnant should not be this hard, it's soul destroying!!

4dpo here and it's dragging in!

@RugbyGirl1 I am just going off ovulation pains so I might not be as far as 12 dpo, could be more like 10 dpo will give it a few days and see what happens

@Dogmum13 I got a peak with FMU on the clear blue advanced digital test on cd 11 and I had ovulation pain later that night and into the next day cd12. I bbt so I could see my temperature rise on cd13 and continued to rise. That told me that I ovulated cd12.

That's what happened for me this month, but it could be different next month.

Basically what I am saying is that you might not be 13 dpo and may be earlier than you think today. Best of luck when you test next ✨🤞🏻✨

Been doing BBT this month for Cycle 2. Do it as soon as I wake up, same time every day, no walking about and it says I ovulated CD9! This is not what I was expecting as I'm always a 28 day cycle so thought it would be later. I got some Ewcm yesterday so I think I'm gearing up to ovulate now rather than on CD9, plus my OPK on that day was clearly negative but has started getting darker as of today. We didn't DTD last month CD12 or CD13 and obviosuly didn't get pregnant so I'm wondering if that is actually my window? Would match my suspicions as I'm CD12 today. Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi ladies hope you are all keeping well, I’ve not been on for a few days.
I came off the pill 4th June started ttc 21st June, still no period and done 2 negative pregnancy tests.
one of you lovely ladies suggested I started doing ovulation tests so been doing them every day and today I finally have a faint ovulation line so fingers crossed I’m actually starting to ovulate 🤞also have a change in discharge.

@CDD1992 If you haven't had anything close to a positive OPK I'd assume you haven't ovulated yet. I have had lots of anomaly temperatures recording BBT and I wouldn't use that alone to predict ovulation. Go with the OPKs and other signs your body is gearing up for ovulation and you might then see more of a pattern with the temping after ovulation.

@Blossomhoney Fingers crossed your line starts to darken and you ovulate very soon, you've been waiting long enough!

@cacavebaby thank you! I did wonder if the hot weather over the last 3 days has messed my temps up a bit? I also haven't had the best night's sleep the last few days because it's been so hot!

Thanks @Aurora81 I had o pains for 4 days so I was using the last day of them as o day but it could have been the day after which would make me 12dpo today. Just waiting for af any day now so time will tell

@CDD1992 it looks like you didn't take your temperature at the same every morning which is denoted by the triangles pointing up or down. Try to use an online bbt adjuster to work out what temp it would have been at the usual time you temp. See what that does to your chart.

CD18 and today looks like its peak OPK day...and the feller...is poorly 😏😒😤😫 he thinks he might have covid....felt ill and been on couch all day....wonder if he can just lay there and I can sort😂😂😂 seriously though... bloody great timing!

@CDD1992 I can see why fertility friend thinks you ovulated, but your temp is dipping again, so I would see what happens tomorrow morning. Also the fact that you didn't get EWCM or a positive opk when they thought you ovulated I would think that you haven't yet. Did you do an opk today? What bbt thermometer are you using?

@CDD1992 I use the Femometer Vinca 2 that connects to my phone via Bluetooth. I find it easy to use as I can fall back to sleep at the weekends and not have to worry what my temp was or struggle trying to read it in the morning 😀😀the thermometer does all the work really.

@Louise34mum yay!! 😊 Does he feel any bit better. Maybe a bit of dtd might do the trick 😉 hopefully he will feel better tomorrow if you can't manage to dtd today.
