Absolutely no way I'm pregnant, but...

DH had the snip about 9 years ago.

I am 36.

Very regular periods.

I am 10 days late.

5 days ago I thought I was starting because I had brown discharge. That carried on a couple of days and has now stopped.

I've had soft cramps for about a week but nothing starts.

I know it's completely ridiculous of me to think pregnancy but it's very much like my pregnancies!

I also usually have sore boobs before my period but not got that.

I feel ridiculous spending money on a test when my husband is sterile of 9 yrs.

I’ve obsessively tested my through 11 pregnancies in the last 25 months. Imho FRERs in the last year have been riddled with evaps like yours. Real drop in quality I think. Even my earliest chemicals were darker than that and way before AF is due. I vote not pg. The thinness of the line is a
giveaway.

Oh god, you have my sympathies Flowers

ofwarren · 29/06/2022 21:56

I can see a line too 😬
Good luck for your test tomorrow op.

Aussiegirl88 · 29/06/2022 22:04

so im using Miss cynacle and very doubtful of most these see a line post. but girl that is no indent, I see pink and very much 2 of them.

Dreamwhisper · 29/06/2022 22:09

If it helps I was 10 days late once and not pregnant, I was TTC at the time so think the stress of waiting for it held it off!

There is hope that you're not, but I have to say I do see a faint pink line. Then again, as PPs have said at 10 days late you'd expect a decent line. Very confusing hope you get more tests soon!

Spacemonkey2016 · 29/06/2022 22:13

I can definitely see a thin, pink line. However, at 10 days late with both of mqy DCs, the test line was much darker than the control. It's a tough one to call.

I know it's been said already, but test again and get DP off to get his fertility checked. I hope it all works out okay for you.

Hiphopboppertybop99 · 29/06/2022 22:14

Oh my goodness, I hope things work out the way you want OP and you are ok🌺

Fraidwo1 · 29/06/2022 22:15

if you read the test after the time stated in the instructions then it can deliver a false positive. If you saw the line straight away then I’d say positive but if it turned up at 10 minutes post testing it’s probably a false positive

Thesearmsofmine · 29/06/2022 22:17

I hope you get the result you want when you test tomorrow OP 💐

StepAwayFromGoogling · 29/06/2022 22:31

That looks like a line to me, OP.

Mamaandbub · 29/06/2022 22:32

I do see a line but it’s extremely faint, 100% need to test again to know for sure

GrandRapids · 29/06/2022 22:35

I think a digital is the only way to go from here.

TokyoSushi · 29/06/2022 22:38

That does look positive, how odd after all that time! Hope you're ok

Eeejjj · 29/06/2022 22:39

GrandRapids · 29/06/2022 22:35

I think a digital is the only way to go from here.

I would be cautious with digital, if the HCG in the FRER isn't strong surely the digital will deffo be negative. Maybe she needs to try a different brand and FMU

OP, wishing you all the best & hope you are/ will be ok whatever the outcome.

NahNoWay · 29/06/2022 23:02

I'm having full blown period cramps now, complete with back ache (usual for me) but still no blood.

I'm sure that by the morning my period will have arrived.

Fingers crossed for you OP

Blinkingbatshit · 29/06/2022 23:05

Just bear in mind….the tubes they cut during vasectomy can (very rarely) rejoin (so it has to be done again). The line was very faint so I’m sure you’re right and AF will be along shortly BUT don’t take it as definitive that an initially successful vasectomy is guaranteed to remain so.

TheKeatingFive · 29/06/2022 23:06

At 10 days late, you'd expect a much darker line than that. I think it's an evap. I'd definitely get DH checked out though, just in case.

I think I will get DH to submit a sample to be tested, to be sure.

Bless you op, I imagine you're all over the place. Thinking of you Flowers

Ramdogs · 29/06/2022 23:12

Early stage menopause can sometimes cause slightly elevated hcg levels. This might explain your faint line?

SheSaysShush · 29/06/2022 23:14

My periods started to change mid-30s. I'm now early 40s and they're still changing. I can't keep up.

Preeeschooler · 29/06/2022 23:22

It does look positive but after all this time seems unlikely to be so faint.
Hoping you get the result you want tomorrow and thank goodness we live in a country where you have choices.

Best of luck!

Ladyof2022 · 29/06/2022 23:29

This happened to someone I knew. A male colleague had a vasectomy and five years later his wife became pregnant. He sued ths surgeon for damages.

Bleedinghearts · 29/06/2022 23:33

Pregnant…. My money is on a boy. Congratulations & wish you well with your decision
