I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

@allgoodthings84 yea I'm the same with tablets. The part where you wrote "I’m not very good at looking after myself just everyone else" really resonated with me. As women we look after everybody else and often forget to look after own selves in the process. And then feel guilty when do! Are you taking any conception tablets? Before we conceived DS, DH and I were taking the pregnacare him and her conception tablets and now I'm taking the pregnacare breastfeeding tablets until I continue BF DS (or when I actually remember to take them!) My vit d was very low recently but been taking extra tablets for that. I remember having those B12 shots, I found them really painful! I hope you manage to get better sleep tonight.

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 22:40

@Tubbytele I’ve just been taking vit c and folic acid. That’s why I was thinking these might be good as they have the vitamin D and folic acid in there too. I took the pregnacare when I was pregnant with my daughter and I didn’t get on with them at all. I wish things could be simple ha ha. I remember after the b12 shots I would feel so energised after and for the first couple weeks after each one lost weight mega easily 😂 I used to like them for that alone ha ha

Is anyone awake? I’ve just taken a FRER and there is a vvvfl, I’ve tried to take a pic but can’t get the right lighting. Omg, might this be happening? Xx

BlondePotter · 29/06/2022 06:44

@OCM19 I'm awake! Post it 😀

Why am I so silly to do a cheapie test at 8/9dpo 🤦🏼‍♀️ obviously stark white and now I feel sad lol

BlondePotter · 29/06/2022 06:45

@OCM19 as close to natural light as you can get, maybe go outside

OCM19 · 29/06/2022 06:55

@BlondePotter I've tried😅I will re-test on Friday as I don't want to get my hopes up too much incase, but it showed up in the time-frame. There is no way my cheapies would have picked this up, so please don't feel sad, you're not out yet. I know it's easier said than done, I also did a cheapie at 9DPO and it was stark white. I am keeping my fingers crossed for you 😘I have noticeable cramping again this morning but it's mummy and DS son day today so am going to try and have the best day with him and try not to over-think everything...although I may have already worked out my due date if I am pregnant 😂 xx

BlondePotter · 29/06/2022 07:09

@OCM19 thank you, I'm clinging on to someone saying 9dpo was most common day for implantation right now!
Ah I really hope it's a good strong line for you on Friday 🤞🤞

OCM19 · 29/06/2022 07:17

@BlondePotter I agree, I think 9DPO is a common day for implantation. I keep looking at my test and doubting myself now...just a waiting game to see if it gets more visible. What symptoms have you got? xx

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 07:40

Oh wow @OCM19 fingers crossed for a darker line Friday! I’m excited for you

OP posts:
vitahelp · 29/06/2022 08:07

@OCM19 Oh wow that's so exciting! Really hoping the line has developed next time you test! Excited for you 😀

I tested last night (Morisons cheap test) and got BFN (10 dpo). Obviously I've been googling reliability of tests at 10dpo ever since! Not feeling hopeful though, not feeling pregnant and just not got a good gut feeling.
I've woken up feeling rough but people in my office and DH are all ill so I know it isn't TTC related.

Tubbytele · 29/06/2022 08:50

Morning everyone.

@OCM19 oooh, this is so exciting! Can't wait for your results when you test next.

@allgoodthings84 lol I knew something was up with my iron when I started craving red bull, which I never drank. Turned out my iron was at its lowest levels.

@BlondePotter I'm feeling exactly like you. Am 9dpo today if I take the 2nd surge I had into account and I'm just hoping that implantation takes place if it hasn't already. But part of me feels like I'm wishful thinking as I'm not sure if we dtd at right time for that 2nd surge or if ovulation even took place in the end.

Tubbytele · 29/06/2022 08:51

@vitahelp sorry to hear you're not feeling great, try to take it easy today if you can and rest up. Sending you a hug!

ummidreams · 29/06/2022 10:19

Good luck everyone. Sorry I haven't checked in for a while DS was off school with a bug. I'm so excited for everyone this week!
I have lost all hope! No AF yet, I expect it'll arrive tomorrow but the gut feeling is I'm out for this cycle.

10dpo- usually I have a 11-12day LP

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 10:54

AF is here but she’s creeping in 😂 my spotting is now coming out onto the liner and is normal period colour. It’s not filling the liner yet but give it until this evening and will be normal AF I think. I’m relieved now as I’ve known since Saturday that it’s coming so at least I can get it out of the way and see how the timing works gif ttc next cycle. I won’t bother with the 2ww though as I might not even hit the right time and won’t know

I hope everyone is having a good day?

OP posts:
calipoppy · 29/06/2022 11:32

AF here for me too, I really thought I was ready for it but I'm feeling so emotional. I'm just so desperate to be pregnant by my due date but realistically I only have 2 chances now so I think it's starting to sink in that I might have to face not being pregnant by then. 💔

Good luck to the rest of you and huge fingers crossed @OCM19 xxx

havanamama · 29/06/2022 11:51

I did the Clear Blue 6 days early this morning and got a 2nd line, so now got 4 different test positives.
also did the Clear Blue Digital which was negative, but I can only test that earliest on Friday, so don’t know what I was expecting.🤪😄
fingers crossed on Friday it will say Pregnant 🤞🤞🤞otherwise it doesn’t seem real unless it’s written out in English 😩

Anyone else due to test around 30th June/1st July?
havanamama · 29/06/2022 11:54

I also called my GP, as I don’t have a thyroid, and take meds for that, I wanted to check if it is still ok to continue on the same dose.

the receptionist told me to ring back if I “still test positive after missed period” 😒 I know she was probably just realistic, but it put a bit of worry in my day. Ugh this process is such a rollercoaster

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 11:59

@calipoppy ahhh I’m sorry you’re AF has arrived too

@havanamama it’s likely just policy but still takes the shine off

OP posts:
havanamama · 29/06/2022 12:06

Yeah I will try to be patient, don’t really have a choice 🤷‍♀️😄

vitahelp · 29/06/2022 12:24

@allgoodthings84 @calipoppy I'm sorry to hear you both have AF, I'll probably be joining you soon.

@havanamama Amazing, it sounds like you have a safe positive now. As others have said, it will just be a standard statement made by the receptionist, but I know what you mean as it makes it feel less confirmed.

I'm still quite down about BFN yesterday and coming to terms with it not being my month. Annoyingly though I have a genuine achy pain (definitely not in my imagination this time) in my left side/lower back/radiating to pelvis. It is probably from doing an abs workout last night involving a lot of obliques but annoyingly it is giving me a bit of hope that I don't really want right now..

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 13:01

@vitahelp I’m ok about it as have been expecting it since Saturday so had time to get my head round it so quicker AF arrived the better

you just never know but I know what you mean, the hope is the harshest thing in this situation and thinking positively is the right thing to do but hits harder when it’s not the right month.

one by one we will all get our bfp just wish there was a crystal ball to tell us that it will definitely happen

OP posts:
OCM19 · 29/06/2022 13:52

@allgoodthings84 @vitahelp @calipoppy hope you’re all doing ok, it’s such a tough time but try and take each day as it comes.

@havanamama that’s a great line, how many DPO are you now? My af is due Saturday so will rest until then 🤞🤞 xx

CinderellaFant · 29/06/2022 18:24

Hi Ladies just checking in on how those who have got a BFN are feeling. Not going to lie- I'm gutted. I'm so disappointed that this is another month it's not happened, I'm feeling let down with my body and annoyed at myself for getting my hopes up yet again. Ended up having a massive argument with DH yesterday, purely because I'm struggling so much with ttc and I take it all out on him. Trying to have a baby should not be this hard.

allgoodthings84 · 29/06/2022 18:45

@CinderellaFant I’m so sorry you’re feeling so rubbish. This was my first proper month ttc but I’m gutted (ok now though as has a few days warning) so I know how bad it’s going to get the longer it takes for me. I think I’m going to have to just try and not get my hopes up and take it as it comes but I know that’s not going to be easy. How long have you been trying?

OP posts:
CinderellaFant · 29/06/2022 18:49

@allgoodthings84 we had a miscarriage at 12 weeks in January and have been trying since the following month. Baby would have been here in 6 weeks if things hadn't gone wrong. As it gets closer to my due date I'm finding myself getting more and more desperate and hating my body more and more for letting me down.
