I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

@calipoppy thank you and sorry to hear yours was a BFN as well 😞 I agree, would rather get it out of my mind that second guess everything. How are you feeling? How many DPO are you again? Xx

calipoppy · 28/06/2022 07:37

@OCM19 I'm 12dpo, so im sure I would have seen something by now!
I had really sharp cramps on Saturday which I convinced myself was implantation so obviously now googling how long it takes for HCG to rise 😅

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 07:43

It’s still early so still possible ladies. I’ve read loads about people getting bfn even dpo11 then bfp dpo12/13!

im so hopeful for every single one of you

@OCM19 thanks lovely! It could genuinely mean nothing and the temp drop could again and then I'd be out. I am so sorry with how you are feeling. I totally get it because even though I haven't done a test I still feel disappointed as I am worried I'm not pregnant! It's really hard and I agree keeping busy is the best thing to do! Stay kind to yourself even though I know how hard it is. Just remember some embryos don't implant until day 10 and it then takes a few days for HCG to become detectable xx

It can take 5 days lovely so you aren't out yet!!! Xx

Morning ladies

@OCM19 @calipoppy I’m sorry to hear about your BFNs today. There is still time for you both yet, I hope the time passes quickly for you.

I’m 10dpo today. After my temporary excitement over a fluttering feeling in my stomach/pelvis yesterday afternoon, I came back down to earth in the evening and was sat in bed thinking how normal I felt and how I can’t possibly be pregnant. I’ve also had a small BBT dip again this morning…I’m still above baseline but it just doesn’t look right for pregnancy, the temps should be higher. I’m almost certain this isn’t my month now. I shouldn’t really be surprised, its my first month trying and second month off birth control so very early days. But I’ve got so invested already and can already feel the disappointment brewing. I thought I would want to test today but not even sure I want to now, might just wait out for AF.

So glad I have you all to speak to and I’m praying there are some BFPs amongst us ❤

Cdoc · 28/06/2022 08:42

@OCM19 that is a brilliant idea! We do deserve it and we have to take the little things at the moment, anything that makes the day pass a bit better. Sorry that you got a BFN this morning, but 10dpo is definitely still early so please don’t rule yourself out yet 🤞🏼🤞🏼Focusing on what is in your control is a really good idea. Sending you ♥️

I work from home 4 days and go into work 1 day so have decided to go into the office today for a coffee and cake with a friend :) being away from home means I have no tests too so I can’t even be tempted!

@Angie2018 i am feeling a bit more positive today, I think mostly because I’m at work and I know I’ll be distracted most of the day. Working from home is great but it definitely gives you more time to let the mind wander! Let’s do that and throw ourselves into work 🤞🏼Ooh fingers crossed it comes back up tomorrow! Are you 7dpo now? So implantation could be any day? So hopeful for you ♥️

@allgoodthings84 that’s such a difficult situation to be in when you know your partner wants one so much. To be honest I’m sure it is possible to be spotting and pregnant? When I was pregnant last month I did so much googling on spotting and something like 25% of women will spot in early pregnancy so it’s definitely not unheard of!

@calipoppy sorry for your bfn too. Definitely not out until AF arrives but I understand, at least if she does come you’ve eased yourself into it. Definitely try and see the positives, and longer cycles is definitely one of them!

hope you all have a positive day ladies xx

Cdoc · 28/06/2022 08:45

@vitahelp I’m sorry you’re feeling like that 😔I don’t think feeling normal rules you out though, think how many women have no idea they are even pregnant until 6 or 7 weeks sometimes! It doesn’t matter how early days it is, when you want something this much it’s a huge deal, so don’t discount how you feel about it.

sending you lots of hugs ♥️

vitahelp · 28/06/2022 08:49

@Cdoc That's so true, I didn't even feel pregnant at this stage with DD, I remember thinking the exact same things that I felt totally fine. But convincing myself this time is different. I think the closer I get I'm scared of getting my hopes up so sort of protecting myself by convincing myself it isn't happening.
Thank you so much and sending lots of hugs back xxx

vitahelp · 28/06/2022 08:50

@Angie2018 I'm 10 dpo today. Thought I'd feel excited at this stage to be close to finding out one way or the other, but instead I'm just dreading it!

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 09:16

@Cdoc i guess it depends why the spotting is happening suddenly earlier than before. If it’s an issue then maybe I wouldn’t have chance to properly implant. I know I’ll probably have to wait 6 months though before I’ll get to have tests or anything. All we can do is keep trying and hope I go back to my normal

positive is that it seems to be that I’ll be on track for this to be back to my normal cycle length. It’s just the spotting. Although maybe I did spot earlier before but never noticed if not in knickers and I didn’t look at the toilet paper with scrutiny every time I pee 😂 so I didn’t notice until it went onto my knickers. Who knows

I totally get why you’re all nervous to test. That’s why I never want to test early. Seeing a negative scares me more than waiting for AF to arrive. While you don’t know you can stay in a bubble of hope.

@vitahelp stay positive lovely! I know it's hard, but we all have to remember that conception is actually a real life miracle and it doesn't happen easily and it can take months to happen. I hear you when you say how disappointed you are starting to feel and how invested you are. I feel the same and struggle to remain positive tbh 💜

I totally get it 😢 when is AF due? X

Angie2018 · 28/06/2022 09:54

@Cdoc so glad you feel more positive today! I do a bit as well, not much but a bit. I just want to know now.... or atleast see what my temps do over the next couple of days as that will tell me I think. If it's low tomorrow I know it's game over for me and I can mentally move on. I am busy today as well so that's always a good thing right?! Yeah 7dpo today what about you? Yep hoping implantation happens soon at least gives me a bit of a sign! Boobs aren't enough to even class a 1/10 sore, right boob maybe. Feel absolutely NOTHING. Hoping that's a good thing xx

vitahelp · 28/06/2022 12:52

@Angie2018 I'm not really sure when to expect AF as it's only my second cycle off BC and I've not really settled into a routine yet. Last month I only had a 24 day cycle so based on that I would be due AF today - but my cycles used to be 28-29 days when off the pill in the past so I expect this cycle to be a bit longer than last month.

I'm glad you & @Cdoc are feeling a bit better today. I'm definitely having one of the bad days today but hoping tomorrow is better. Luckily work is very busy today which has taken my mind off things a bit.

havanamama · 28/06/2022 13:15

I just bought 2 Clear& Simple Early Response tests - will do one on 30/06 - 6 days before missed predicted period.

it will be 7DPO though so not having high hopes anyways. AF due on 5th, so might use the other one over the weekend.

What tests are you all using ?

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 13:26

I’m so sorry a few of you are feeling down 😞 this ttc thing is so emotional isn’t it. Gets to this stage and I think we just all want it to be time to get a bfp or AF to hurry up so we can crack on. I thought the 2ww would be long but exciting but it’s long and worrying

Sorry you're having a bad day @vitahelp it's just such a long road isn't it! Nobody tells you until you start trying how difficult having a baby can be!

I just use cheapies, then I don't feel guilty if I test loads 😂

havanamama · 28/06/2022 13:44

Guys I was totally impatient and did one of the early ones - are my eyes messing with me?

Anyone else due to test around 30th June/1st July?

@havanamama I see it!! Amazing for 7dpo! 🙏🙏🙏

newgal · 28/06/2022 14:12

Hi everyone, hope you don't mind me joining :) I'm new here and ttc - due to test around the same time, maybe even tomorrow. Did not track ovulation this cycle and the length varies from 29-36 days so hard to know what's up! No symptoms yet. Sending lots of good wishes your way!
