I’m now 3dpo and trying to feel positive. My OPK peak times up with when I had EWCM and I’m sure I had some ovulation pain on Thursday. I’ve never realised it before now but I nearly always have a pain for a few hours in between AF’s so guess I nearly always have it but never paid any attention to what is was or why. Even though the timings all line up I still have a fear that I ovulated much later and missed dtd at the right time. I know it’s irrational 😂

@havanamama Yes I see it! That’s amazing,
congratulations!! I’ve bought very cheap ones from Morisons, £3.50 for 2 so won’t be using them until earliest tomorrow (11dpo).

@allgoodthings84 @calipoppy Thank you ❤️ Luckily I’ve kept busy today and the day has gone by quickly. Can feel temptation creeping in to test soon, I’m 10dpo so wouldn’t be too outrageous. I think I just want to be put out of my misery, but on the other hand like @allgoodthings84 said it can be nice to stay in that bubble where there is hope for a bit longer.

vitahelp · 28/06/2022 14:21

@newgal Welcome! I’m probably going to test tomorrow too, although torn whether I want to or not as zero symptoms is making me expect a negative result. You’ll find it helps a lot to check in here, we’ve got a super supportive thread going xx

havanamama · 28/06/2022 15:00

I took another test and it’s also got a line!
omg! I’ll test again tomorrow in the morning as I think I’m hallucinating 😄

CinderellaFant · 28/06/2022 15:22

Congratulations @havanamama

I caved and took a test and it's BFN. Day 12 PO today so looks like I'm out this month ☹️

OCM19 · 28/06/2022 15:33

Omg @havanamama i see it 👀 🤞 a tentative congratulations, eeekkk this is so exciting! Have you tested on a FRER yet? X

calipoppy · 28/06/2022 15:46

Sorry to hear you're in the same boat as me @CinderellaFant , at least we can keep each other company next month 🙂

havanamama · 28/06/2022 15:50

@OCM19 I haven’t got any more tests at home.
I did these 2 and then a small test strip that also had a faint 2nd line

I’ve alerted the baby daddy, we will go test shopping tonight and then I’ll do in the morning

Anyone else due to test around 30th June/1st July?
allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 16:06

@calipoppy and @CinderellaFant it’s so hard realising you’re out isn’t it. Even though you know there’s still a possibility it’s hard knowing inside you’re out. I think as soon as AF’s are here though we will feel a bit better as can try again. I just want my AF here now and never thought I would say that!

@havanamama congratulations that’s a great line for 7dpo! Most aren’t even likely to test positive at that stage are you sure you’re definitely only 7dpo? I bet you’re so excited. Is it your first?

@newgal welcome to the group. We are all here to support each other and I will start a new one after the weekend as think everyone will have either tested or AF here (if waiting like me for AF)

Thank you everyone! I got so distracted I forgot to say 🙏🏻

@allgoodthings84 yes, first one!

this month I actually did not test positive on ovulation tests on the usual days , but presumed it was the fault of the Clear Blue. Maybe I ovulated early and just didn’t test it then. If so, then I could be 10DPO or 11 DPO.

vitahelp · 28/06/2022 16:18

@havanamama Yay glad you got a positive again on the second test! 😀

@CinderellaFant I'm sorry you've had another BFN, sending big hugs ❤

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 16:20

@havanamama if you didn’t test positive for it to be around 7dpo now then I would say you definitely ovulated earlier and that’s why you didn’t get the positive when you expected and why your line is good 😊. I remember with my daughter the state of shock I was in when I saw the positive pregnancy test. I was happy of course but so shocked that something so amazing had happened for me. I know I will feel the same this time too but I think the first time is an extra special feeling. I only have one though so that’s a guess ha ha

calipoppy · 28/06/2022 16:39

@allgoodthings84 exactly it just feels like dead time once you realise you're out but AF still isn't there! Hope yours comes soon too!

How long did it take you to conceive your DD? Mine took 7 months and an MC, but then with my recent loss we conceived first time and had only dtd once that month! Just goes to show it really is like rolling a dice every month!

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 16:48

@calipoppy if I’m honest I’m not sure. I came off the pill and we was using condoms but not always very careful. It was 9 months after I came off the pill but we did use protection a lot and I didn’t track anything at all (and we did so much separately that we only dtd once a week). We wasn’t ttc but was happy for it to happen. We wanted a baby but was also enjoying life as it was so was very relaxed about it. I wish I could be relaxed about it this time but I’m 37 so haven’t got the luxury now. I was 29 when I conceived my daughter. I didn’t realise I was pregnant until nearly 7 weeks as had no symptoms and didn’t track anything to it hadn’t clicked that I hadn’t had a period

How are you all ladies?

I have just ordered a vitamin b complex with added D3 and folic acid vitamin. Thinking the b vitamins won’t do any harm even if don’t work. Can maybe help with my tiredness etc

OP posts:
OCM19 · 28/06/2022 21:27

@allgoodthings84 ohh let me know how you get on with the vitamins.

I'm doing ok, had a little cry to my DH once our DS was in bed, my brother and his gf announced their pregnancy on fb tonight (I knew a few weeks ago) but it’s just been a bit hard. I’m going to use my FRER tomorrow morning. How are you? Xx

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 21:41

@OCM19 oh I hope so much you get a bfp. It must be so hard your brother and his girlfriend having a baby on the way. Mixed emotions for you I imagine you poor thing

I’m absolutely fine now. I’ve had time to wrap my head round it not happening this month and feel better now I’m going to try and help it. I’m still just spotting when wiping but due on Thursday although would love it to be tomorrow as gives me an extra day before we go away ha ha. Hoping if we can get a few goes in before we go that I’ll ovulate quick enough after that there’s some swimmers left 😂 I’m not going to bother doing OPK or anything though as could be a waste of precious tests.

OP posts:
OCM19 · 28/06/2022 21:46

I’m over the moon for them, I truly am. They told me the day my last period arrived so I was already emotional 😂

aww bless you, I agree it’s probably best to just forget the OPK’s and see what happens, you never know!

my cramps have been very noticeable today so think af may arrive Friday, but I will still test tomorrow. 🤞🤞 xx

Cdoc · 28/06/2022 21:48

Hello ladies, just catching up on everything.

How is everyone doing? Another dpo down!

@havanamama congratulations on your bfp! That’s so exciting ✨✨such a positive story for the evening to read!

I can’t believe tomorrow is 13dpo 🙈still no real symptoms, maybe a bit of light cramping and weirdly I’m all of a sudden more aware of my nipples (they don’t hurt and they’re not bigger).

@OCM19 good luck for your FRER tomorrow 🤞🏼🤞🏼Will be keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼It must be hard to see your brothers post, as happy for him as you will be it’s still not easy.

Sorry @CinderellaFant for your bfn 😔😔

hope everyone is feeling ok. Feels like we need a lot of positive vibes in this group tonight ♥️♥️

Tubbytele · 28/06/2022 22:04

Hi everyone, just catching up now on today's messages. Sorry those that got BFN, you're not out til AF shows so don't count yourselves out yet!

@Angie2018 hello! I'm good thanks, trying to stay occupied as much as possible. DS keeps me really busy and work is manic too which is good I guess. How was your day today? Did you manage to stay away from googling? :)

@havanamama congratulations!! Those lines look great!! Excited for you!

Tubbytele · 28/06/2022 22:07

@OCM19 sending you a hug from here! I know it's hard but you're doing amazing and I'm hopeful that you will have your bfp soon

Tubbytele · 28/06/2022 22:09

@allgoodthings84 how are you doing? Have you checked your iron levels and vit d for the tiredness? My iron levels were extremely low when I was going through fatigue.

newgal · 28/06/2022 22:11

@allgoodthings84 Depending on what happens this month would definitely be up for the next thread! Haven’t tracked opk before but would be trying that out next time.

@havanamama congratulations!

also have pcos so uncertain how much of an effect that will have 💭 not sure if others in this group have experience of this

Tubbytele · 28/06/2022 22:15

@newgal Welcome! Sorry to not be much of a help with pcos info but I have endometriosis and did have an endometrioma from my left ovary removed a few years back.

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 22:19

@OCM19 I’m wishing you all the luck in the world

@Tubbytele if these vitamins don’t work I’ll ask if I can have blood tests done. I think a lot of the reason that I’m tired is because my sleep is awful. I know this from my Fitbit. I’ve never been able to sleep well. I used to have a B12 deficiency. had the injections every 12 weeks for 4 years until my stores were built up then was meant to make sure I get enough B12 so these vitamins definitely won’t do any harm. To be honest I should probably have been taking them anyway but I’m not very good at looking after myself just everyone else. I forget daily tablets but maybe need to make it routine

allgoodthings84 · 28/06/2022 22:21

@newgal the opk fascinate me. If it wasn’t a waste I would do one every day 😂
