In doing a CB digital again just so that I can see 3+ weeks?

The FRER is from Monday night. The CB digital is from Tuesday mid-morning.

I have zero symptoms at the moment. Feel absolutely fine. Did anybody else feel the need to repeat test just for their own reassurance?

Is there any point...?

I did with my DS, just did one clear blue digital a week until I got my 3+ then stopped. Congratulations!!

S0220 · 08/06/2022 15:21

Thank you @Charl881 I feel like I need to see the 3+ weeks just to make myself feel better! Can you remember when you got your 3+? I don't want to waste it 🤣

I feel like I want to test every 5 minutes to make sure I'm still pregnant so I'd be interested to know what others think about this too!x

S0220 · 08/06/2022 22:01

@Drf that's how I feel! Especially because I have zero symptoms. How many weeks are you currently?

OP posts:
Drf · 09/06/2022 06:16

I just got my bfp yesterday so it's sooo early, so I just want to test around the clock. Woke up at half 5 this morning and couldn't sleep because I just wanted to test 🤦‍♀️

S0220 · 09/06/2022 07:40

@Drf congratulations! How many weeks are you thinking you may be? I couldn't sleep a wink the day after I got my BFP. Ended up caving and testing the day after too! Haven't done one since Tuesday though!

I'll be 4 weeks on Saturday going by the date of my last period, but the clear blue digital says 1-2 weeks from conception. So suuuuper early! But I can't help being excited 🤩 I did a pink dye and a clear blue digi yesterday, and another pink dye test this morning and the lines were much stronger, so I'll probably do one in a few days... can't afford to be testing ever day for the next few weeks 🤣 how many weeks are you from last period?

S0220 · 09/06/2022 08:05

@Drf I'm just over 4 weeks too according to my apps! About 4 weeks and 2 days. My last period started on the 10th May. You're so right, I can't afford to keep spending money on tests! I have one digi left and will hold off until the weekend if I can in the hope that I see a 3+ weeks.
Is this your first?

Yup! We got married in March, moved to Ireland 5 days later, just had an offer accepted on a house a couple of weeks ago and now pregnant with baby #1! It's all happening! Oooh were so close! Mine was the 14th May so we'll be due around the same time! Amazing 🤩 we can compare notes throughout our pregnancies 😁🤣

S0220 · 09/06/2022 08:20

@Drf oh wow what a wonderful whirlwind! Congratulations on the wedding, house and the baby! That's wonderful 🥰

Ahh nice to see someone in the same boat timing wise! The NHS calculator is estimating my due date as 14th Feb! My sons due date was the 11th Feb (he's coming up to 2.5 now) so I guess this time of year is lucky for us 😂

OP posts:
Drf · 09/06/2022 08:27

Aww a little valentine baby 🥰 that's nice that they'll be close, joint parties... have all the madness and mess on one day 😆 mine is estimated to be the 22nd Feb! My family has so many birthdays at that time of year so this baba will fit in nicely!🤞
I feel like every time I talk about it I'm jinxing the pregnancy, reading these forums is great but it also highlights how many people have miscarriages and makes you a bit paranoid, I wouldn't even have given that a second thought if it wasn't for the mumsnet forums. Just need to press ahead hoping for the best and expecting that everything will be good!

S0220 · 09/06/2022 09:05

@Drf haha well my son was actually born on my birthday in the end, my husband said he'll be screwed if this little one falls on the same day 😂 can you imagine all 3 of us on the same day!

I agree with you...I think before MN I wasn't fully aware of just how common MC's are. I don't know many people it's happened to personally. I'm glad I have my toddler to keep me busy as I'm sure I would be fretting a lot more if I didn't!

Are you experiencing any symptoms at the moment?

OP posts:
Drf · 09/06/2022 11:50

What a nice birthday present! 🥰
Aw so many considering I'm so early! Sensitive nipples, cramps, got a cold, the wildest dreams, absolutely ravenous at all times 🤣 and shattered most of the time (which to be fair isn't unusual for me🤣)

How about you? Have you had many symptoms?

S0220 · 09/06/2022 12:12

@Drf you sound exactly how I did in the early stages with my first!

This time around I'm feeling no different ☹️ I don't know if I should be worried about that. Having said that, I have noticed I'm really constipated (tmi sorry) but have read online that this is normal in early pregnancy. And I'm also a lot more thirsty than usual! Other than this, I wouldn't know any different which is odd.

allgoodthings84 · 09/06/2022 12:46

@S0220 dobt worry about lack of symptoms. I had no symptoms until nearly 7 weeks with my daughter. Didn’t even know I was pregnant as wasn’t ttc so didn’t realise until then that I was pregnant as wasn’t tracking AF etc. then the symptoms started with a vengeance which is why I tested as thought I was pregnant or dying 🤦‍♀️

S0220 · 09/06/2022 15:39

@allgoodthings84 thank you for the reassurance. I have heard a few people say symptoms may be non-existent, it's just hard not to compare to my previous pregnancy!

OP posts:
allgoodthings84 · 09/06/2022 15:44

@S0220 oh I get you. I’m going to be constantly worrying when it happens for me again. If I have no symptoms I’ll be worried and if I have symptoms I’ll be worried. It’s completely natural when we want something so much

S0220 · 09/06/2022 17:22

@allgoodthings84 you've absolutely hit the nail on the head!

Silly me caved and did another CB digital today. I Instantly knew it would still be 2-3 weeks as I only got 2-3 weeks just two days ago and now I regret wasting a test 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

Nelbert19 · 09/06/2022 21:24

I did 12 pregnancy tests for my first pregnancy 😅 Pretty sure I’ll do the same again if I’m lucky enough to conceive. Pregnancy is just so mind blowing, I can’t believe it until the symptoms kick in

Drf · 09/06/2022 21:49

Mind blowing is right! The worry is unreal. I panic if I feel nothing and then I panic when I feel mild cramps or twinges.
Both are completely normal at this stage. Terrified every time I go to the toilet that I'm gonna be bleeding. I suppose I'll never have nothing to worry about ever again if all goes well! So strange. When did I become a grown up?!?!🤣

ChickinMarango · 09/06/2022 22:00

@S0220 I gave up and just texted once a week as kept getting 2-3 weeks.

Got it finally at 7w2d! Last tried at about 6w 3d so can take a while.

S0220 · 09/06/2022 22:31

@ChickinMarango @Nelbert19 @Drf it's really torturous isn't it?! I can't be tempted now I've run out of tests and going to avoid buying any more for a bit. (If I can!!)

OP posts:
S0220 · 10/06/2022 22:41

@Drf how are you getting on? ☺️

OP posts:
Drf · 11/06/2022 06:47

@S0220 I'm doing pretty well! Starting to feel a bit sicky now which i didn't expect to happen so soon! Had a day off work yesterday and I went out for some shopping and it nearly killed me. I was shattered!! Slept for about 2 hours when I got home and was in bed by 9pm.

How are you doing?

S0220 · 11/06/2022 13:35

@Drf the tiredness is so overwhelming isn't it! I remember feeling that way the first time.

I'm feeling absolutely fine which is unnerving. Boobs are noticeably a bit more sore today but otherwise, zero symptoms!

I caved and bought 2 more FRER's and 2 more digitals today 🤦🏽‍♀️ I know testing and testing isn't the best thing to do but I don't think I can help myself 🫤 here's a pic of todays test, not FMU and taken around midday:

Is there any point...?
