So I made an error when ordering tests and ordered 2 lots of the 4 pack FRERs off Amazon and now have 8 😂🙈 they arrived this afternoon and obviously couldn't help myself testing... BFN at 10dpo. I know I'm not out till AF arrives but I had all my positives by 10dpo with my previous 5 pregnancies 😢 between that and being away day before and day of ovulation so not able to DTD I'm feeling a bit disheartened! Can't even tell DH it was negative as he'll just tell me I shouldn't have tested early 🙄

@BritishDesiGirl it's hard isn't it! How long have you been trying? Not that it makes any difference to the disappointment! I'm 6dpo so my AF is due in 3/4 days! Remember 10dpo is still super early but think of something you can look forward to and treat yourself with if AF arrives. Maybe catch up with friends or a glass of wine or something

@WingingIt09 😂😂 at least you have plenty of tests! Hopefully you won't need them all and get BFP soon

I got my peak OPK last night and had a bit of spotting and EWCM today so pretty sure I ovulated today. DtD on Monday so hopefully can cover it by DTD tonight as well 🙏 but again I'm not telling my OH that it is "the time" so I need to make it happen as if it's completely spontaneous 😄 no pressure right

@Dreamingof3 sorry that probably made it sound like I have been trying for 3 years which I haven't, but it's nearly 4 years since we got engaged and have been waiting to start since then. But needed to get our ducks in a row first!

Me and my partner got engaged I see @lj2022 also did 🥳🥳🥳. Now he is very ready and I go back on forth from lets do it now to wanting to push it back, which I knew would happen closer to the time. He wants to wait till September to start cause we visited a zika country
...where everyone was pregs anyway we had a little accident yesterday after my positive opk so Im gonna sit with you ladies incase I go insane thinking I maybe pregnant.

Hi @Nypie I remember you from the beginning 😊 congrats on your engagement! Have you set a date yet?
I know what you mean about the zika - we were meant to go to Peru for our honeymoon back in 2020 which got cancelled and my OH was looking to re-book the hol... I put my foot down to not do it as I didn't want another TTC delay so we went to Italy instead (also much cheaper!)

You'll have to keep us posted for this cycle 💙 you never know!

We DTD last night and now 1 dpo so I'm hoping we've covered it as much as possible this month 😬 in for the TWW now

Welcome back @Nypie ! Congratulations on your engagement. We also got engaged in May! So this is obviously an engagement group too 🤣 we've set our det for next summer...mad really but hopefully it'll all work out!

Cd18 for me now and slightly darker opk so will test later and hope for a positive. Dtd yesterday then plan to tomorrow and maybe Saturday too depending on opk 🤷‍♀️

@LucyLoopyLu 👋👋👋 Thank youu, no date yet I want a 2 year engagement and to pop a little one out in that time! Though we may get married in a registry office and have a symbolic ceremony abroad.

Italy is beautiful thats where were thinking of getting married, which part did you go? Im getting fed up of the word zika I just want to go away 😂😂😂.

When did you start trying? 🤞🤞🤞 I should ovulate on friday so were only a couple days apart.

@Dreamingof3 😂😂😂 now that is something I can finally be a part of! Congrats to you 🥳🥳🥳. 1 year! I do not know how women do this, I say women as my fiance has already checked out of the planning he just hovers over the budget 😂😂🙄.
How is ttc going for you? Are you doing any special method I'm quite intersted in the sperm meets egg also interesting in swaying

@Nypie CONGRATULATIONS it's the best feeling isn't it! The Zika country thing is also hard I decided just to try straight away as I was in a low risk Zika area and only got one bite surprisingly when I'm usually covered. So glad I didn't wait now as it's still not happened😂 however with some other countries I think I'd have definitely waited. A 2 year engagement sounds great time to get planning. I think we will be going for 3 years so thinking of just having an engagement party to celebrate but also not really wanting to book incase I get pregnant but I could always just party sober!

@Dreamingof3 just saw you've set your date how exciting have you made any plans yet! I'm sure it will all work out for you the way you want! Congratulations to you too !!

I took a FRER yesterday and this morning along with a cheapie this morning…I was worried the FRER may have been indents but I think I can see something on the cheapie? 🤞 xx

@Nypie this is only our second month! We aren't doing anything specific, just using opks which we didn't do last time. I did read about swaying and we waited until I got my peak last month, but bfn so I can't be bothered now, just trying to cover the fertile period 🤣

@Nypie - that sounds good to me, I loved our wedding but sounds so nice to go abroad! We stayed in Florence and Bologna this year but also visited Siena, Parma and Modena and did a wine trip in Chianti so we saw plenty of places. Loved it, it was a fantastic holiday.

I got my coil removed end of March, missed one fertile window as it was just after that, now on cycle 3. Hoping we will be lucky this time 🤞

Checking back in - got my BFP June 13th but just had a miscarriage at 6 weeks - no foetus so really just an embryo that never implanted. I had the same thing in 2016 before my pregnancy with my son so hoping the pattern goes MC, baby, MC, baby...but who knows!

After my first MC I got pregnant again 2 weeks later. Wondering what will happen this time.

Good for you for just going for it I got bitten to death but I saw so many pregnant women and just thought so many women are obviously still getting on with their lives over there.

We're having an engagement party too I say just go for it! You'll be high off the baby news if you happen to get pregnant anyway.

@Nypie sorry don't think I worded that well I was in a Zika country in January haha so no proposal on my holiday however we did go away for my birthday weekend in the UK and on the way home we were passing through where we met for our first date and he proposed so I was taken completely by surprise as I thought the weekend was over and was hungover heading home haha! Take it yours happened on your holiday? Don't blame you being more cautious especially with being bitten loads

Thanks think you've convinced me just to go for it and book one! It's fun to celebrate either drunk or sober as I'm not much of a drinker anyway. Let's hope we both get BFP this year too 🤞

Hey - I’m a bit 🤯 as it’s my first cycle TTC and I’ve been doing OPKs and BBT. I had a thread to help me decipher my OPK results as I didn’t ever get a line darker than the control one.

That being said, my next conundrum is what pregnancy tests to buy?! I’ve got a load of easy @ home ones as they came with OPKs, but I don’t believe these will show early, and looking on Amazon there are reviews of some being fake.

I think I ovulated yesterday, so now my OPK obsession is on hold for a month, I’m keen to buy some early pregnancy tests… can anyone post the actual link of the ones you’d recommend please? Clear Blue? First Response? Boots? Pink dye? Blue dye? It’s a total minefield for a newbie 😂

@Heretochill welcome! It's all so overwhelming isn't it. I actually just buy cheap ones from Asda because I don't want to spend a fortune and will buy more expensive ones if I ever get a faint line. I have previously bought FRER and Clear Blue 6 days early and luckily never had a false positive from them but recently I've just used the £3.50 pack of two from Asda which reminds me I should go buy some as I don't have any for testing in a few days.

Also don't worry about not getting a positive OPK I have never had a positive but blood tests and BBT confirmed I am ovulating I must just not produce a high level of LH

One thing my MC has taught me is not to test early. I did the same with my first MC and I am a POAS addict so easier said than done but honestly next time I'm not going to bother testing until AF is a week late at least. I know from experience that a good strong line at that point is a good sign. With both my MC the line progression showed what was going to happen before it did (despite all the MN posts saying a line is a line etc).
