@lj2022 That definitely counts went away/holiday on your birthday weekend/birthday definitely twins. Just say it happened in June and we're the same person 😂😂. Thats so romantic! Mine was on hol and I was a suprised given we were in a private jacuzzi at the time but its very "us" 😂😂.

Aw I'm glad your thinking of going for it, I went to one a few weeks ago where the future bride was barely drinking just having fun! We're having a house party as I've just planned my 30th and can not be arsed with another big fuss.

I got another BFN this afternoon, slight line eyes thinking there may be a shadow but think I'm just going crazy. Fully expecting AF to arrive tomorrow now 😢 I really shouldn't test early but I just can't help myself! Tests burn a hole in my drawer 🙈🙈

Hi everyone, poking my head out again as just ovulated yesterday and it's day 1 of the dreaded TWW so looking for some company 😂 Anyone just starting their TWW? Planning on just testing if AF doesn't arrive so 12 July or thereabouts :)

Hi @lavitesse2022 I'm the same, ov yesterday and 1 dpo now. My period is due on 15th - I might test on 13th or 14th but no earlier

How are you feeling? I am cautiously optimistic but don't want to get my hopes up.

@Dreamingof3 I've got cramps so I'm not positive 😕 also was contacted by the maternity services today for a booking appt for my previous pregnancy. I knew it was coming at some point as I'd not managed to cancel the referral since it was all done online, but I was hoping I'd be pregnant again by then!!

Welcome @Heretochill and good luck! I've not been consistent with BBT due to getting up at different times, but can pinpoint ovulation to a 48 hour window so at least that's something. Also welcome to @NatalieSF

@SarahShorty Thanks for sharing the stats. Glad your results were positive, but sorry AF arrived. Fingers crossed for you and hope you're feeling a bit better about it all.

@keeponsmiling2019 when we start we're going to start DTD every other day about 6 days before predicted ovulation.

@PinkButtercups that scan story will be great to tease them with when they're older!

Hi @Nypie Congrats on your engagement! I'm waiting to try in September, like you. Though I keep wondering if we should try in July as a bonus month (August not good for us). But it would mean if I did catch, I would be 12 weeks at the wedding... I don't drink much anyway, so that wouldn't bother me, but would be concerned about feeling potentially unwell. I got engaged in June last year on my birthday 😁

@OCM19 I think I see something! When will you test again?

@WingingIt09 Fingers crossed AF doesn't show up! Sorry about the maternity services contacting you, that must be hard. I remember that happening to my friend after her 3rd MC in a row last year and she found it difficult. (Good news is she's now 7 months pregnant).

I'm officially starting folic acid + vitamin d tomorrow, which makes it all feel a little more real! Very nervous that our journey won't be straightforward due to endo and other issues, but trying to be hopeful. I guess even without issues most women wonder if it will actually happen to them before they start trying? Or am I just overthinking?

I don't know, I'm serene but at the same time counting down the days. Keep reminding myself that I actually like my life right now, so no pressure on when it happens. But equally desperate that it happens since we decided to do this and I've been ready for ages 😅

Now call me crazy but I know I felt them move. I'm 13+5 today. Felt them once most days since Friday. I know some people will say I'm too early to feel but I definitely know what I've been feeling. I felt my DS between 14/16 weeks. I felt them today after not feeling anything for 2 days. I know the midwife will say it's wind. I know the difference and trust me I've had a lot of wind!

Really bad heartburn tonight think it's the side effect of the aspirin I've been prescribed. I bent down to pick my DS's toys up and my mum was here and I said it really hurts especially when I bend down. She said 'I know how you feel' no you don't actually. No you do not 🤣

@DesertSnow ahh so here's my twin...I know you were out there though I'm coming up a year behind! So happy theres someone else on the baby bench! I was so tempted to convince dp just to go for it this month after the accident but I'm tired and covid is kicking my butt so nvm. We'll have to stop trying in December and jan as going to be a bridesmaid for a friends wedding and dont want to be about to pop or have a very young bub at that time. I know what you mean about plans and early pregnancy I want to go on hol but I dont want to spend the whole time in the bathroom...I also dont want ti misd out on an opportunity for simething with such a small success rate. P.s I feel I'll have trouble conceiving all the time.

@SVC11 👋👋👋 how long did it take for number 1? Doesn't sound crazy I was 3 years between my imagined children dp thinks I'm mad.

@PinkButtercups I definitely think you could feel them, you're not too far from when it'd be 'normal' to feel first flutters...and there's 2 of them in there so less room! Ahh it's so exciting!

Sight BBT drop this morning and BFN so AF will be on her way today 😢

@Nypie gave myself a few minutes to be upset in bed then my kids ran in and gave me a huge hug which helped! Also made some lotus biscoff pancakes for breakfast to cheer me up

Anyone else in the TWW? I'm 8dpo so usually start spotting 9/10dpo at the latest. Got sore boobs and a headache which isn't unusual for me in the days leading up to AF. Just annoying that pregnancy and PMS symptoms are similar 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

Got my peak today...finally! Think we will manage to dtd tonight and we did Wednesday too and that'll have to be enough as the bloody mother in law is round for 2 nights from tomorrow 😒

@LaVitesse2022 yes it would be baby number 1 for me. I have a sort of baseline where I really want a family but can be fairly ok about it in general, and then go through mad moments where I am really upset that I'm not pregnant. It's also really hard to compare myself to almost everyone I know already having kids. I am worried about my age as well, could be fine but you never know. I'm 34 in October and want 2 kids - ideally I wanted 2 by 35 but that's not going to happen now - I will just feel grateful for one at the moment. 🤣 although tbf one of my close friends originally wanted a big family, then had one little boy and decided one is enough and they are happy as they are! So you never know

@PinkButtercups so excited to hear about you feeling them move 💛 I think as you've been pregnant before I'm sure you know what you're feeling and would know if it was wind. Hope you're feeling OK generally 🙂 are you going to find out what you're having?

I'm 5dpo. Had some twinging on my left side yesterday. Hopefully thought it could be implantation however it would appear I've caught the lovely sickness bug that my daughter has 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️ this is going to be a long TWW.

@LucyLoopyLu I completely see what you mean. I was ambiguous for a long time about ever being a mother but in the last 2 years or so the urge got really strong. But equally, I don't like children that much and there are parts of the whole parenting that annoy me (I'm an introvert so time on my own is really precious).

Funny, I'm also going to be 34 in September and trying for my first :) My ideal would be 3 so it's getting tight! But this is in abstract, I've no idea how I'll feel when a baby is actually here so not really wedded to a specific number of children.

I actually don't like children in general 😅 and on the worse days, not even my own! The lack of my own time is what I find most difficult about being a parent. We've always made sure that we make time for us as a couple, as well as individually. I have zero issues with shipping the kids off to my mum for a night by myself 🤣
