Hi everyone 👋 feeling a bit excited as today is the start of my fertile window (apparently!). This is our first time TTC, I’ve been doing OPKs and they’re still low but will move to testing twice daily now to try and catch that egg! Also doing my temp but due to work I wake up at various times, so tracking is not consistent.

@Heretochill good luck! I'm trying telling this.month, and I started my opks yesterday as depending on what my cycle does my fertile window should be starting soon so I'm like you, Want to make sure I catch it!

@Theawkwardblonde I'm in the TWW. Currently 6DPO. Had about 5 minutes of right sided cramping earlier. It came and went pretty quickly which has me wondering if it could be implantation 👀 I know it would be the earliest day for it if it was so probably not but still.... the crazy symptom spotting has begun 🙈

@WingingIt09 I’m also in the TWW, I think 7DPO. My boobs don’t hurt at all this cycle and I’ve had really creamy cm today, but trying not to overthink. When will you test? Xx

Hey ladies xx I've not been on this threads for ages! I got a fertility MOT done at London Women's Clinic and the results are very positive. I won't share numbers unless asked, but the consultant said that we very likely won't need fertility services and that they'll be surprised if I'm not already pregnant. It really helped put our minds at ease.

While we there, we learned some extra stuff which was very interesting. There is a 30% chance of conception in any given cycle and a 15% chance that an established pregnancy will make it to term. With such shoddy odds, getting pregnant really is a massive achievement and in my opinion, highly underrated.

Anyway, for me today is CD33, 14DPO, I ovulated on CD19, which means AF should be today and so far all I've had is a small amount of brown spotting. I always get some spotting before AF starts, so I'm going to hold out on testing until Monday just in case. I got a negative FRER on Wednesday morning (CD30, 11DPO) and another negative on a cheapie on Thursday afternoon (CD31, 12DPO). I'm praying for a sticky bean.

@SarahShorty thank you for sharing the stats! It definitely makes you realise how difficult it is and how underrated as you say! Puts my mind at ease that you’re almost more likely not to conceive at a given month than to!

@SarahShorty those odds 😳 I'd heard the 30% one before and 1/4 pregnancies ending in miscarriage but I'd not heard the only 15% making it to term figure!

What's everyone's DTD plan? Do you DTD every day in the fertile window or are you just targeting your peak days? Think we might just go for DTD every day this fertile window.

@keeponsmiling2019 we just DTD every other or every 3 days in the fertile week. The trouble with daily is it lowers numbers of live sperm as there's not enough time for more to travel up the testicle-

"In this effort, it is recommended that men abstain from ejaculating for 2 to 3 days. Men who ejaculate more often have lower volumes of ejaculate and lower sperm counts in each ejaculate."

I've been put on 150mg of Aspirin from the twin midwife and twin consultant now up until 36 weeks. Have to take two dissolvable ones at night after a meal or with a meal. They taste rank 🤣.

Also for anyone who has their BFP and need a prescription get the pharmacist to fill in a blue form until you wait for your maternity exemption with the receipts on them. I had to get a prescription and said although I've seen a midwife I'm waiting for my exemption certificate. She filled a blue form for me with everything dated and I got my exemption letter through last week but it was dated back all the way from 14/05/2022 - 31/12/2023 so I got my money back. Not sure if this will help anyone.

Also forgot to mention on our scan we save twin 2 move their butt next to twin 1's face and twin 1 gave twin 2 a little smack on the bottom. The sonographer said she's never seen anything like it and burst out laughing and said we have very mischievous twins already 🤣. Definitely like their big brother!

We were going to dtd every other day with extra thrown in around ovulation but maybe won't now!

@WingingIt09 good luck for your TWW. It's so hard not to symptom spot with every little think. Fingers crossed it's implantation 🤞🏻

@keeponsmiling2019 I kind of follow the sperm meets egg plant, so every other day until you get your peak, then 3 days in a row, skip a day, then one more for luck.no idea why I'm doing that though as it didn't work conceiving my first 🤷🏼‍♀️ think I just like a bit control/structure over things.

@keeponsmiling2019 realised it said egg plant not egg plan 🤦🏼‍♀️ guessing you knew what I meant!! I was advised to follow it by my consultant due to a history of recurrent miscarriages. Seems logical enough and hits your fertile days.

Hey all 👋 jumping on the thread..our first month actively ttc baby number 4🥰

When you Flo app says you're at peak ovulation and OPKs are negative 😫 must be ovulating a bit late! Hopefully the next couple of days I'll get the smiley faces x

@helly013 flo goes by a regular cycle ovulating at "typical" time and nearly nobody actually ovulates on that day. I'd recommend using natural cycles or Premom and tracking your BBT if you can to find when you ovulate

I think I'm in my TWW now I've not tracked this month but getting my progesterone tested tomorrow again to check ovulation or if my progesterone is low so fingers crossed it comes back okay
