@Platinumbonsai a promising looking frer for sure.

Dreamingof3 · 14/06/2022 20:39

I'm so sorry @Summerbreeze111 take some time and we'll all be here for you when you're ready to come back x

Just to echo others, my first pregnancy was a miscarriage at 12 weeks, I then had 2 healthy pregnancies so it doesn't mean it'll happen again xx

Jennifer89 · 15/06/2022 08:34

Official month to start ttc but dh isn't in best of health so doesn't feel likely this month. Then next month we are going on holiday and staying with family when it happens to be fertile week. Don't think we will be getting to it with family next door in rooms in nan's house 😣..
Oh well just trying to think it will happen when time is right and try not to overthink it.

Cdoc · 15/06/2022 08:50

Morning everyone
hope you are all doing okay.

I am 22 days post medical management for mmc and got a static smiley on a clear blue this morning. IC is also showing positive so I think I’m ovulating soon.

Couple of questions as I’m getting myself quite anxious, is it normal to ovulate late after a miscarriage?

Second question is am I more likely to miscarry if we try on this ovulation before I’ve had an AF? I am so desperate to be pregnant again, I have no other children.

Sorry if these have been asked before I’m just getting myself worked up. Thank you in advance x

Platinumbonsai · 15/06/2022 09:00

Got my BFP on a digital last night. Can't quite believe it as we only DTD once leading up to ovulation this month.

cdoc Yes it is normal and it doesn't have any bearing on future miscarriages. I conceived DS basically 14 days after my miscarriage and was a healthy pregnancy.

Cdoc · 15/06/2022 09:05

@Platinumbonsai thank you so much.

and congratulations on your BFP 😊

Theawkwardblonde · 15/06/2022 09:12

@Cdoc yes normal to ovulate late. I actually conceived the month after my miscarriage. I ovulated about 6 days later than usual and went on to have a healthy DD.

Cdoc · 15/06/2022 09:17

@Theawkwardblonde thank you, that’s very reassuring to know

lj2022 · 15/06/2022 13:20

Not been keeping track so congratulations to any new BFP's in the group. I'm not tracking my cycle this month and honestly feel so free and relaxed. Getting my progesterone tested 7 days before AF and booking in for a fertility acupuncture session and going out walking a lot so hoping all these relaxing and looking after myself helps. Was getting far too hung up on the tracking and it was completely taking over my life. Hope everyone's doing well I'll probably not be on quite as much this month since I'm trying not to think about it all

LucyLoopyLu · 15/06/2022 15:03

@Platinumbonsai congrats!!!

DesertSnow · 15/06/2022 17:19

@Summerbreeze111 I'm so sorry, take the time you need. We're here for you.

@Platinumbonsai congratulations! And to anyone else I've missed, this thread is hard to keep up with!

Also welcome to all the newcomers.

@lj2022 That sounds very sensible, gives you some breathing space. So easy to get obsessive over tracking.

@Cdoc I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Fingers crossed for your rainbow soon!

DesertSnow · 15/06/2022 17:23

I've been wondering about exercise and ttc. I workout a lot (6 days a week) but wondering if better chance of implantation if I cut down during the tww? Obviously if I was to become pregnant my regime would certainly change.

Aware everyone is different and will also consult doctor, but wonder if anyone would be willing to share about their own experiences?

Platinumbonsai · 15/06/2022 17:25

I don't think exercise is going to affect your chances desert. I wouldn't overthink stuff like that too much or you'll drive yourself nuts.

HeathenPlayingHouse · 15/06/2022 17:30

So sorry @Summerbreeze111, take care of yourself ❤️

dearhummingbirds · 15/06/2022 17:46

I agree with @Platinumbonsai , @DesertSnow - I don’t think it should make any difference at all. I think it’s also said that as long as you exercised before, whilst pregnant you should be able to continue as you were. Maybe just don’t push yourself as much as you would.

lj2022 · 15/06/2022 17:59

@DesertSnow I think you should stick to what you're used to. Women that have a regular exercise regime can even continue into pregnancy usually and safely lift weights etc unless theres complications and advised not to. If anything I wish I had a better work out regime as I feel it would better my chances and I'm trying to become more active

Summerbreeze111 · 15/06/2022 18:12

Thank you so much for all your well wishes, it means a lot. I had a bit of an up and down day today but feeling better than yesterday. The stories of those who have gone on to have successful pregnancies after a miscarriage have really helped and given me some HOPE. Thank you, thank you, thank you! ❤️

Bananatoast123 · 16/06/2022 08:51

Starting my TTW today! Any tips on distracting yourself? 😂 I want to try not test until my missed period or at least 12dpo!

we DTD lots more this month and hit ovulation day! Was also more relaxed with testing so hopefully we get some baby dust 🙏🏼

DesertSnow · 16/06/2022 17:06

Thanks for the advice @Platinumbonsai , @dearhummingbirds , @lj2022 🙏Makes sense to stick to what my body already is used to.

@Summerbreeze111 hope you're doing ok, be gentle with yourself.

@Bananatoast123 No tips other than just trying to keep busy, arrange to see people, try not to focus on counting down the days (easier said than done of course!) Good luck!

LucyLoopyLu · 16/06/2022 20:36

AF has arrived and she's back with a vengeance. Really punishing me with pain this month 😂
Here's hoping the next cycle I will be luckier

Tropicana1 · 16/06/2022 20:46

AF arrived for me today too @LucyLoopyLu cycle buddies for the next try!

LucyLoopyLu · 16/06/2022 20:57

@Tropicana1 oh sorry for you too! Hope it passes quickly for you.

My last cycles have been 35, 30, 30, 32, 30 days.

I am relieved I've had another 30 day cycle as I'm generally 30-32, and it's looking more and more like the random 35 day cycle was just a weird one I can discount - might have been because I started taking pre-natal vitamins. I could really do without 35 day cycles at the moment 🤣

Dreamingof3 · 17/06/2022 07:18

Sorry I've been a bit quiet...got lots of birthdays and a weekend away! Which is a nice distraction actually 🤣 af is just finishing for me so I'm already itching to get the opks out, even though I know I don't ovulate until at least cycle day 15/16 😅

Also....I'm too hot 🥵

Theawkwardblonde · 17/06/2022 08:41

@Dreamingof3 second the too hot 😂

I'm in cycle 2. Chemical seems to be tailing off thankfully. Husband has warned against me becoming obsessed with tracking like first time around. It's so hard to not track, plus I'm a POAS addict so love opks.

I think he just wants to be realistic it will likely take a while again. That been said we've had a bad night with our DD last night so think he is questioning baby no 2 now 😂 good luck for those of you entering another cycle.

Dasher789 · 17/06/2022 10:51

DH called the GP yesterday to start testing our fertility due to no signs of positivity. By chance AF was due same day. No sign of AF so did the clearblue advanced test today and got BFP!!!! Realise its very early days so only DH no and all of you! Excited but don't want to get ahead of myself - small but hopeful woop!
