Lovely to see lots of BFPs!

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 07:55

Another faint line on a Frer for me this morning. Definitely stronger than yesterday but still faint considering AF is due either tomorrow or Thursday (not 100% sure which). And I did a clear blue digital last night which was negative. I reckon if I am pregnant I'm heading for a chemical, as when I had my son I had a very good strong line by now.

Theawkwardblonde · 14/06/2022 08:05

@Platinumbonsai fingers crossed you're not headed for a chemical. Seems a few of us have been caught with those this month 😞

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 08:07

I'm OK with it if so, we only (unless I'm wrong about my ovulation time frame) DTD once in my fertile window this month so it would be unlikely for me to get pregnant at all.

Bananatoast123 · 14/06/2022 08:20

I’m CD13 and I got my LH peak this morning! We DTD this morning and lots over the weekend but not sure we’ll be able to go again now until Friday due to work commitments! Have I done enough for this cycle? I hate not knowing whether it’s enough or not! Should I be DTD on ovulation day - is that when best chances are or is it on the lead up? Does anyone know?

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 08:22

I think the three days leading up to ovulation are the best ones

Bananatoast123 · 14/06/2022 08:24

@Platinumbonsai oh I do hope so as that means we’ve caught 2/3 of them! The last 4 cycles we’ve been TTC (it’s our 1st) we’ve somehow never managed to on ovulation day so it’s stuck in my head that that’s the reason we’ve not caught yet!

Sorry to hear you think you might be having a chemical, I hope you get some good news and it’s not the case!

helly013 · 14/06/2022 11:08

Hi joining in the group. AF has just started but this is the cycle we plan to actively start trying for no. 2. We have a boy who's 16 months so will hopefully be just over 2 years age gap.
I tracked my ovulation when I first fell pregnant with Clearblue OPK and worked really well for me. So I've just stocked up. Also the Flo app which is predicting ovulation 26th June 🤞

Summerbreeze111 · 14/06/2022 11:39

Hi everyone, I have some very sad news after posting my positive pregnancy test. I started bleeding last night and I am still bleeding today, I know I am going through all the signs of a miscarriage. I feel absolutely heartbroken today, I have spent the day in tears, I just feel so sad.

I am going to let myself cry for the next few days, but hoping I change my mindset to start joining you all again on your journey. I know a lot of people go through this, and you don't actually realise how devastating it is until going through it yourself :(

Theawkwardblonde · 14/06/2022 11:42

@Summerbreeze111 so sorry to hear that. Take care of yourself.

dearhummingbirds · 14/06/2022 12:01

@Summerbreeze111 I’m so sorry. We’re all here for you if you need someone to talk to.

LucyLoopyLu · 14/06/2022 12:01

@Summerbreeze111 so sorry to hear that, be kind to yourself 🧡 hope you have lots of support

@Platinumbonsai keeping my fingers crossed for you, hope you're OK and things develop, keep us up to date if you can

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 12:15

So sorry summer. I had an early miscarriage before DS and remember vividly how devastating it was. Take care x

Summerbreeze111 · 14/06/2022 12:17

Thank you all so much, it really does mean a lot and even just tying that message has helped. Crying reading your responses.

I am trying to stop myself going down a rabbit hole worrying that it means it is going to keep happening, I have awful anxiety generally so so typical of me, worrying about the worst case scenario.

I am going to give myself a few weeks break, and will be joining you all again hopefully in the nearby future

xx

Thank you so much, gives me a little hope x

Sorry you also went through it, it really is awful. I've been knocked for six today, didn't expect to feel as bad as I do.

dearhummingbirds · 14/06/2022 12:37

@Summerbreeze111 Look after yourself xx And remember that grief has no timeline.

tryingtryinggone · 14/06/2022 12:45

so sorry to hear that @Summerbreeze111. I also had a mc before DD and remember how devastating it was (and then also feeling like I shouldn’t be devastated when it was so early in the pregnancy). Take time for yourself ❤️

Gizzy93 · 14/06/2022 13:24

So sorry to hear @Summerbreeze111

I have a feeling my first o date was right, and AF will show up tomorrow. The sore boobs and cramping are definitely my tell-tale signs!

Tropicana1 · 14/06/2022 13:30

So sorry @Summerbreeze111

Had a small amount of very very slightly pink discharge last night after sex so think af will arrive as planned on Thursday or maybe even tomorrow.

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 15:00

This afternoon's FRER (I can't help myself).

Preparing to TTC in 2022 part 4 - where the BFPs keep on coming!
Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 15:08

It's pinker IRL than it is in that photo. I'm wondering if I ovulated later than I thought.

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 15:13

It shows up better here actually.

Preparing to TTC in 2022 part 4 - where the BFPs keep on coming!
Tropicana1 · 14/06/2022 15:35

Definitely looks like a line @Platinumbonsai

Platinumbonsai · 14/06/2022 15:43

It's a line for sure, I'd just have expected it to be darker by now given I thought AF was due tomorrow. However, it is definitely darker than it was yesterday, so I am wondering if my ovulation date was later than I thought and consequently AF would also have been delayed this month.

HippeePrincess · 14/06/2022 17:20

@Summerbreeze111 hope to see you back here soon when you’re ready, I’ve had two early losses myself, it always helped me to eat and drink all the things you can’t have when pregnant and watch something either crazy funny or sad and just cry it all out. Don’t be disheartened or worry too much, you have every chance of a healthy pregnancy next time.
