@MamaSJ15 ooh how many dpo are you? Positive symptoms, I feel like it might happen for you this month 🥰 gut feeling xx

I moved to a different group atm. I think my miscarriage affected me more than I thought. Those 5 trans vaginal scans (some were painful) have made me scared of DTD and I'm struggling a bit

MrsGrealish · 03/07/2022 21:09

Also I don't wanna bring negative energy to a positive thread Xx

MamaSJ15 · 03/07/2022 23:02

@MrsGrealish I'd guess at around 7dpo. Aw thank you 🥰 I really hope so.

I'm sorry to hear that you're struggling. You have been through a lot, but we're all here for you if you need a chat 😊 xx

Tropicana1 · 04/07/2022 09:23

@MrsGrealish sorry to hear you're struggling post MC - totally understandable it's a lot to go through especially how long you were going through it - emotional turmoil. Is there someone (professional) you can speak to to help you work through your fears and feelings?

We were away for the weekend but finally got my peak yesterday (CD17!!) didn't manage to DTD as we were so busy then got home late last night but ovulation predicted today so hopefully will manage to get one in today

MrsGrealish · 04/07/2022 10:53

@Tropicana1 hopefully tonight's the winner 😊

I'll be ok. I haven't been a nice person to be around (poor DH) these past weeks but we had a good talk this weekend. My apps say I ovulated on Saturday I feel like it happened Thursday (ovulation pain and CM) I haven't done any OPKs because even that brings the memories back and with the faint positive FRER last week how reliable are they 🤷‍♀️

MrsGrealish · 04/07/2022 12:25

Never mind finally did an OPK and peak is today. Shows how good I am at identifying ovulation 😅

@Tropicana1 wishing you lots of luck for tonight!! good news that you finally got your peak 😊

@MamaSJ15 ooh, sounding good! Keeping fingers crossed for you 😊

@MrsGrealish I'm not surprised, you've been through a very difficult ordeal that just dragged on and on, plus the examinations you've had must have been very hard on you physically and mentally. Please do look after yourself and keep talking - that's fab that you and DH have managed to talk things through. And don't ever worry about bringing negative energy, everyone is here for each other the good and the bad 😘

UserL95 · 04/07/2022 12:57

Hi everyone / bare with me this is my first post and I am going crazy.

I have a 29-30 day cycle, very regular, etc etc

this month I got to CD 35 with no AF. I noticed I was more sensitive to smells, my chest was so tender, my legs were hairier than usual (the growth was so quick), and I wasn’t a food fiend as I usually am when I pms. Tested cd 31,32 and 34 and all bfn. Cramps started on CD 34 evening and AF has come in full force today.

I have been taking the conceive plus fertility support tablets for 2 months now. Prior to that I was taking the pregnacare before conception and prior to that normal multi vits. So I don’t think this should have impacted though it may have?

Im just so confused. I can accept that I’m out this month, that’s annoying but fine (TTC for around 6 months). I just don’t understand what could have happened to my body to throw me off. And the cramps are so much worse than they usually are!!

Any words of advice or similar stories?

MrsGrealish · 04/07/2022 15:15

@alwaysseeingstars thanks hun 😘 it's odd it comes in waves but feel better after talking to DH. It had got to the point where we were both snapping at each other and he was sleeping in the spare room for a few nights 🥲 in a better place now after a long talk Saturday night Xx

Hope all is well with you? Xx

alwaysseeingstars · 04/07/2022 15:45

@MrsGrealish I'm so glad talking to DH has helped, hopefully now when you're feeling low you know it can work! It's hard though isn't it as people get affected by things differently and at different times. Your situation sounds v similar to my friends, they had a very tough MC and felt completely at odds with each other as their moods were fluctuating so much - and never at the same emotion at the same time!! Keep chatting, and there's always people on here to chat if needs be xx
I'm... just waiting! We completely missed my last cycle due to me being ill, feel gutted as the cycle feels long enough as it is without a missed one! But at the same time, I've had a break from symptom spotting, google rabbit traps, second guessing everything - so maybe the break will re-energise me for next month. AF due this weekend so just want it over with! xx

@UserL95 sorry I can't be of any help, I've always been irregular! Hopefully someone else on here can be 😊

MrsGrealish · 04/07/2022 18:23

@UserL95 it's sounds like a chemical with the symptoms and the painful AF. I don't know why a test wouldn't have picked it up though. What sensitivity where the tests?

@alwaysseeingstars sorry you haven't been well 😞 hope you're feeling better Xx I feel you with the relief of the Google rabbit holes and symptom spotting. At least when you are bleeding and spotting for weeks there is no confusion 😅

MamaSJ15 · 04/07/2022 19:40

@alwaysseeingstars thank you. I'm feeling different this cycle than I have before, I wasn't symptom spotting before and suddenly I'm feeling things I don't usually and I even did a cheapie test earlier, like I thought something should show up this early 🙄 I think I've finally gone crazy. I've been lightly cramping again this afternoon, not due on for another week though so hoping it's not gonna come early.
Sorry you've not been feeling well. It seems to be a bit of a crap month for it 😂 we only dtd once this cycle so we'd be lucky if it did happen!

UserL95 · 04/07/2022 20:51

@MrsGrealish i could only get my hands on 25 ones so wasn’t sure if they would be sensitive enough… though most websites said by 5 days late they should show/ so confused

MrsGrealish · 04/07/2022 21:13

@UserL95 I think though in a successful pregnancy it would show positive but maybe if it was a chemical and the embryo formed but didn't implant properly, the hcg levels didn't get high enough for the 25iu test? I mean this is only guesswork on my part but with my chemical in January the FRER which is super sensitive just showed a faint positive and didn't get much darker. Then I bled. With my last miscarriage the midwives told me to keep testing and I noticed (and have pictures of..my camera roll is a variety of pregnancy tests 🙈) the 25iu test was so much fainter than even the cheapie one steps (10iu) and at that point my blood hormone level was well over 250.

Sorry for the rambling message 😂

MrsGrealish · 04/07/2022 21:39

@UserL95 I'm no doctor or midwife so please if you are worried get a professional opinion Xx This is just my bitter experience of chemical pregnancy and miscarriage.

UserL95 · 04/07/2022 22:12

@MrsGrealish thank you so much I appreciate your messages more than you can understand. I guess I’ll never know for sure, but just felt so strange. I’m so sorry to hear about your experiences and your loss. Thank you for sharing with me xx

alwaysseeingstars · 05/07/2022 08:44

@UserL95 from my experience too @MrsGrealish could be right - when I had a chemical I got positive early detection tests only on one day before they turned negative! So I could've easily missed it. Hopefully it's not that but in some ways that's easier to understand than sudden changes in your cycle..?
@MrsGrealish @MamaSJ15 on the mend thank you, I suffer from seizures which totally drain me for a while but fingers crossed will be back on top form in time for the next FW 😊
@MamaSJ15 what DPO are you now? Keeping fingers crossed for positive news for you!
@Tropicana1 did you manage to DTD yesterday? 😊

RMS0209 · 05/07/2022 10:02

Hello lovelies!
Guess who's back... back again x

MrsGrealish · 05/07/2022 13:03

@alwaysseeingstars oh god the fatigue I get after a migraine is unreal so I can only imagine 🥲 take care and rest Xx

@RMS0209 welcome back! was beginning to think you had moved to France 🇫🇷 hope you are well rested 😘

MamaSJ15 · 05/07/2022 13:27

@alwaysseeingstars I'm not 100% sure, I'd guess at around 10dpo today but could be 9. On CD 22 today so AF should be due in 7 days if I'm back to my regular 28 day cycle. I've had little twinges in one boob again today but nothing constant and I can feel a kind of feeling that I would say might be the faintest type of cramps, on and off. I'm probably imagining half of this if I'm honest, I'm just really hoping it's our time now xx

MamaSJ15 · 05/07/2022 13:29

After reading back my last comment I realise now that it sounds like I ovulated fairly early. So may AF would come earlier too. Oh isn't the world of TTC a wonderful thing 😂

alwaysseeingstars · 05/07/2022 14:01

@MrsGrealish horrible aren't they! Definitely throw you out of sync for a lil while. Thank you 😘
@MamaSJ15 oh gosh it really is mad how much things can change isn't it!! Very promising that you're feeling pretty good about this month, really hope it is your month 🤞
@RMS0209 welcome back!! ❤️

Tropicana1 · 06/07/2022 00:19

@alwaysseeingstars I've taken a step back from online this month TTC and have definitely felt better for it (although this will probably change now I'm entering the tww 🤣) even my stupidly late cd20 ovulation can't bring me down haha
Didn't manage to DTD yesterday as DH was ill obviously (one day man flu) but did it tonight the day after ov so still holding a small amount of hope it might not have been too late

Tropicana1 · 06/07/2022 00:19

@RMS0209 hey! Great to have you back, how have you been? ☺️

OP posts:
MamaSJ15 · 06/07/2022 13:25

@Tropicana1 Hiya, glad it's made you feel better 😊 how often did you manage to DTD?
We only managed the once so I'm not holding out a huge amount of hope but at the same time, it only takes one time to be successful. I had light cramping a few days ago and today I'm feeling it a bit again and my lower back has started aching a little bit. I'm hoping this is all good signs and I'm not just imagining it all. I've also had a weird amount of CM for the last few days which I don't usually get either. 🤞🤞
