Hi everyone, thought if start a new thread for those of us heading into another cycle and hoping for a BFP in June 🤞 I was on the May thread briefly but decided to pause TTC after two early miscarriages this year. Was actually lovely to have a break 😅 but excited to try again this month. CD 1 for me today!

I have a beautiful 20 month old daughter already.

Hopefully we can all keep each other company on this rollercoaster! X

@Tartanhaggis yes usually your luteal phase (days after ovulation) should tend to stay the same length for each cycle. So if you usually have 14 days between ovulation and start of AF then there should still be 14 days between your late ovulation and the start of your period. Some cycles are just whacky though for no reason!

Skylark1990 · 10/06/2022 13:21

@Tartanhaggis yes absolutely if you ovulate late, that will push your cycle back and your period will be late. That's usually why we have late periods, the luteal phase (after ovulation) rarely changes by more than a day or two, so generally if a period is late it's because ovulation occured later. Do you think you ovulated later than usual?

@ElleBelleLou so sorry for the bfn, I hope af arrives soon so you can start the new cycle ❤️

@MrsD2021 fingers crossed for you! I'm also having a rest today, have logged off work for a couple hours as keep waking up at 5am and the completely flagging by about 10 am!! B6 is a good idea to lengthen, hope it does the trick! X

@MooBugz are you going to join a February due date group?? The one in the pregnancy board looks massive already and as we will be due later in Feb I was considering doing a new one for late Feb/ early march! But also not sure if I should join at all haha maybe better not to get too wrapped up in it all - esp not yet. X

I'm not sure was I don't chart etc but I was still having cramps at 4dpo ( ovulation date going by app) so I suppose it's possible

Tartanhaggis · 10/06/2022 13:58

Thanks ladies for the info. I actually never knew that and explains why some can still get late periods/ late bfps

RugbyGirl1 · 10/06/2022 14:29

Hey ladies, mind if I join? Congrats to those with a BFP this month! My body has decided to play games with me this month and I could do with some moral support! Currently 9dpo, had light brown CM since 6dpo which never usually happens, cramps, headaches and tiredness... Tested with an IC this morning and just blank white so my hopes are fading 😔

Tropicana1 · 10/06/2022 14:30

CongratulUtons @MooBugz

Lovely line @Skylark1990

I can see it @Bella9992 fingers crossed!!

MooBugz · 10/06/2022 14:35

@Skylark1990 I don't know I was thinking maybe a sue after my group since we will have a totally different feel through our pregnancies!

Also like you I'm unsure whether to join anything yet 🫣

RedElleJ · 10/06/2022 14:37

Hi Everyone,

Congratulations for all the positives so far and I am really sorry if it hasn't been your month.

I was hoping it is not too late to join.

I am 8/9DPO and this is my first cycle since our MMC at the end of March.

I promised I wouldn't test until 10 DPO but here I am - going crazy over some easy@home tests!

The first photo is 3-5 mins after I took the test this morning and the second is a comparison. Top one is dipped in water and the bottom is my test, but a few hours old. I compared as the indents on this batch are crazy obvious.

I thought it was positive this morning but with the comparison I am not entirely sure. I know they aren't technically valid after the given time frame but I can't help but doubt myself.

Good luck to everyone!

Hi @RedElleJ I actually think that looks positive to me!
@RugbyGirl1 ICs are not very sensitive even if they claim to be so you definitely aren't out yet! At 9dpo I tested with an IC which was negative and a Frer which had a faint line then today at 11dpo much darker line on FRER 🥰

Hi all,

Started a new thread for those pregnant and sue feb/March after a mc in case you fancies joining

Due Feb/Mar after MC 🌈 🙈 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/pregnancy/4566470-due-febmar-after-mc

Good luck 🤞🏼

RedElleJ · 10/06/2022 14:47

Hi @RugbyGirl1

Try not to lose hope - 9 DPO is still early so you still have time for that BFP!

Keeping my fingers crossed for you x

RugbyGirl1 · 10/06/2022 14:54

@Skylark1990 congratulations! I don't have any FRERs in the house otherwise I'd be broke 😂 I'll stick with the ICs or wait to see when AF arrives. My LP tends to be on the shorter side at around 10 days so not long to wait!

Thanks @RedElleJ I'm really hoping this is our month.... Think we're on around cycle number 17 now. Had one miscarriage last September but apart from that, nothing! Been referred to fertility clinic but secretly hoping we don't need to get to that 🤞

RugbyGirl1 · 10/06/2022 14:56

@RedElleJ the test on its own looks positive to me too!

RedElleJ · 10/06/2022 14:57

@Skylark1990 Congratulations 💕How long do you reckon you will test for?

I am really hopeful it is a positive - nervous at the same time too though.

I ordered some Frer yesterday so hopefully tomorrow might be more telling than today.

RedElleJ · 10/06/2022 15:01

@RugbyGirl1 I am so sorry to hear about your loss. My heart really does go out to you, it is truly awful.

Are you planning on testing over the next few days?

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 10/06/2022 15:08

@MamaSJ15 sorry to hear that Flowers heartbreaking x hope you feel better soon.

@ElleBelleLou I think I must have ovulated later than usual so I got AF at 16dpo which is later for me. Hope yours goes ok and you've just implanted later x

RugbyGirl1 · 10/06/2022 15:13

@RedElleJ yep - AF is due tomorrow I think so if she's not shown up I'll invest in a FRER. She has never been late - even when I was pregnant in August / September last year I had what I thought was a normal period. It was only because I cried at work a week later and my BBT stayed up that I thought to test! I kinda knew from the start that the pregnancy was probably unlikely to be a happy ending

BellaTheDarkOverlord · 10/06/2022 15:14

Goodluck @MrsD2021 and @RugbyGirl1 hopefully symptoms will lead to BFP if they are different to your normal.

@RedElleJ I think I see a line on the first picture so goodluck!

Skylark1990 · 10/06/2022 15:47

@RedElleJ I think I'll do a test on Sunday and then another couple next week, about 2 days apart, just to reassure myself that hopefully the line gets darker... it's not an exact science ofc but I was very reassured today with the darker line, so think it helps! As long as it does actually get darker haha.

@MamaSJ15 I’m so sorry

RedElleJ · 10/06/2022 16:50

@RugbyGirl1 Goodness, that must have been really confusing for you. Do you think it could still be possible to get your positive even if AF arrives?

@Skylark1990 Fingers crossed for you 😊If it keeps you calm and gives you reassurance then go for it! I tested loads when I got my BFP in Feb and that helped to keep my anxiety at bay.

@BellaTheDarkOverlord Thanks for looking too. My Frers just arrived so should have an update tomorrow morning.

Skylark1990 · 10/06/2022 17:02

Thanks @MooBugz I joined. I also joined the big due in Feb thread but feel a bit new / random ATM haha as so many others are like 6/7 weeks along.

JTB123 · 10/06/2022 17:04

I think I can see a line?

@JTB123 I definitely see something!

So I think I’ve realised the cause for my symptom spotting. I had a big temp rise this morning at 8DPO and I’ve been so tired the past couple of days. Woke up with a sore throat at 2am with what felt like acid reflux pain in my throat that I experienced when pregnant with DS. I was so hopeful these were all signs of pregnancy…well now I’ve just found white spots on my tonsils so I think I’ve got tonsillitis 😔 which would explain the temp rise, tiredness and sore throat. Although doesn’t explain the cramping/twinges I guess. So I know I’m not out yet but not feeling as hopeful as before. Feeling rather run down and tired so I’ve told hubby I’m not cooking dinner tonight and I’m taking myself off to bed
