Out of curiosity- does anyone know the average DPO that people first get a BFP?

I am 7DPO and don’t know when to test as I’m just desperate to do it now but know it’s too early! It is too early isn’t it?? Haha!

@Hjudge56 I've had them at 9/10dpo before.

I do not know what's going on with me... didn't really get to positive OPK, just high 2 days on the trot. I was hoping to confirm I'd ovulated with this mornings BBT but then DD woke up in the middle of the night and mucked it up. My 4:30am temp didn't show a rise but my 7am one did but that was only after 2.5 hours sleep so not sure I can count it 🙄 in the meant time I'm still OPK testing, they are back at low but not as low as they usually go. Worrying I might not have ovulated, which would be very annoying as we DTD loads in the fertile window for ovulation at CD12 and if it's not happened I'm not sure we have it in us to continue 😂😂 here's hoping my temp shoots up tomorrow and confirms ovulation!

@WingingIt09 if sounds to me as if you have covered it! Are your cycles usually on the shorter side? If so, the LH surge is known to be difficult to catch!

@Hjudge56 yes my cycles are 24/25 days and my LH does surge quickly. Just anxious waiting for BBT to confirm that I've actually ovulated. Would have helped if DD hadn't been up in the middle of the night 🙈

@WingingIt09 i am the same! 25/26 day cycles and I have previously missed my LH surge and been in the same position! I think it shoots up and down so quick with shorter cycles! I have put mine down to happening over night too! See how you get on over the next few days xx

@Hjudge56 I've had faint lines at 8/9dpo

I might be joining everyone with the cycle frustration, I think I caught my peak - decided to track my first few cycles in the end, but my tests were pretty high LH/positive for days and took ages to go down. Anxiously waiting for AF, should in theory be roughly a week to 10 days away but I can't remember anything about my previous luteal phase length or what's normal for my cycle length.

@Hjudge56 i was wondering the same thing. I’m 9DPO and said I wouldn’t test until I’m late but I’m not due my period for another 5 days so definitely too soon for me. I’m not going to use a good test either so I don’t think the cheapies worked for me first time until I was only one day early 🙈

I think I may do FRER tomorrow morning at 9DPO! Although I just know it will be a BFN. Have doubts about this cycle now after seeing a couple BFN’s even though they’re early to test!

My BBT rose today. It'll take another few days to confirm but think I'm now 1DPO... AF should now be due 3/6 as I only have an 11 day luteal phase. As my luteal phase is so short, I'll try and hold off testing until AF is due but doubt I'll manage it as I'm very impatient 😂😂

EEP appointment booked to remove coil! Isnt until end of june so will likely be July we actually start trying rather than June as originally planned

Anyone who is 100% confident this is what they want suddenly get really nervous when making steps toward making the dream a reality?! Im so excited but just suddenly like 'OMG'. Not helped by then worrying how much added pain I'll be in each month after #ThanksEndo 😅👀

@WingingIt09 hope your TWW goes quickly. The one bonus of a short luteal phase is not having a full TWW. Fingers crossed for you. I'm not yet in TWW but AF due on 04/06 due to only short luteal phase too. Have you been doing anything to try lengthen your luteal phase?

I've started DH on his conception wellman vitamins. Poor bloke didn't know what to think 😂 I've got about 6 weeks till I'm 6 month PP from having our little girl.

Getting so anxious to start TTC again. I'm wanting to start properly now but just need to give myself these extra few weeks. Although I will admit I'm using my opks to get my cycle tracked- think I just missed peeing on sticks if I'm honest 😂

Is anyone on here just about to start or waiting to start TTC?

@DanisEndo there's definitely slight panic amongst the whole spectrum of emotions I'm feeling TTC. Anytime my kids drive me up the wall I'm like what on earth am I doing TTC #3!?

@lj2022 yes definitely a bonus of short luteal phase is a shorter TWW! I'm not doing anything to lengthen it atm. 11 days is within the average range (just) and I conceived my DDs quickly when I had 24/25 day cycles so assume my LP was the same length then. If I don't conceive quickly I might look into it a bit more

@Dreamingof3 I remember doing that with my DH when we got engaged, just sounded so strange

@DanisEndo I'm 16 weeks pregnant now and still having panics about what the bloody hell we're doing

So my temp has dropped a bit today... thought it was 3 consecutive rises to confirm ovulation. Now I'm wondering if I have actually ovulated this cycle or not 😩

Hi Everyone, hoping I can join this group. Me and DP have decided to TTC straight away. Just came off BC last week after 10+ years so I know that things might take time to settle down. I'm 36 so I'm feeling the pressure but using the flo app and waiting for some OPKs to arrive so I can start tracking!

I'm definitely in my in-between period phase, and my mood is so much better for it. I'm not sure I'll be able to track where I am in my cycle, given how long the bleeding went on for.

Period Tracker app actually estimates that I'm due to ovulate today, which I'll take with a pinch of salt. That being said, I was excited to see spontaneous EWCM this morning, especially given that we BD last night 🤞

@WingingIt09 sometimes a temp drop is normal I tend to get one around around 3dpo every cycle but it then comes back up. Think it's called a fallback rise to do with the surge in progesterone that comes with ovulation dropping so hopefully your temp comes back up tomorrow

Couldn’t help myself this morning despite it not being FMU. Took this internet cheapie and a FRER but both are well over a year out of date. Separate wees both with only around a 2 hour hold. Literally know I shouldn’t have as I’m still 3 days early so unlikely to show anyway but even less so without FMU. The FRER was the second one I did and completely BFN. The cheapie has a hint of a line but I’m guessing an avap. Gaah now I’ve just stressed myself out as I can see a line but highly unlikely to be positive. The only thing giving me hope is that when I used these cheapies the first time I didn’t get a single evap.
I guess I’m not out until AF shows her ugly head!!
