@Theawkwardblonde Ah looks like I hit my peak on the OPK yesterday, last night I had pain around my ovary, then this morning my BBT showed a clear temp rise - so looks like it happened, even though from what I've read CD23 is quite late to ovulate. Know I need to see the risen temp for a couple more days to confirm, but so relieved as I was concerned I wasn't ovulating.

@dollface22 That sounds stressful, try not to worry too much if the GP has said it should be fine, and you're doing the right thing checking immunity. Fingers crossed all is well.

@dollface22 I’m due the same day as you. The RCOG (obstetricians college) website says at least 80% of pregnant women are immune to chicken pox even if they didn’t know they were and exposure in that case is fine. Hope all’s ok.

I held out and tested this morning, 12DPO, CD34. BFN 😔 AF due on Monday. I might be out of this one, but as we always say, not until AF shows. Will test again Tuesday if no AF. Hope everyone is doing okay xx

Congratulations to all the new BFP's in the last week! I've not been coming on too much as I'm trying to relax as much as possible this month with TTC but harder when the fertile days are approaching as I start to think about it all a bit more

So I went out today and did what I said I WASNT going to do, and bought ovulation tests. Wow they are expensive?! 😑 I might try amazon next time! Did my first wee and no LH surge so found myself a little disappointed as we dtd last night 🤣 I am only cd13 so I am probably testing too early and being impatient.

Can I ask, when there is a faint line, it says that is a negative LH surge but does that mean it's heading towards a positive LH surge, like you would expect a pregnant test to get darker? Also, is the surge usually 2 days prior to ovulation? Are you still dtd even though you aren't detecting a surge? Sorry so many questions!

@Summerbreeze111 i usually find I have a really sharp LH surge so go from nothing / faint line to a positive with nothing in between, others have more of a gradual rise over a day or two. I've attached a pic of one of mine where you can see it go from almost nothing on day 13 to a positive day 14. I also usually test 2/3 times a day when I think it's due because I've been caught out before with really short ones where I can miss it with just once daily testing

Yep I am the exact same I am really faint up until the day before my peak where it starts getting pretty strong but some people get gradually stronger. I'd definitely recommend the east at home ones off Amazon @Summerbreeze111

Thank you so much, I didn't even see a faint line, sorry if this is TMI but I've started with watery d/c so assumed there would be a light line at least but your message has reassured me! Do you mind saying what app that is? Can you use any ovulation tests, assuming you just take a pic and upload it each day?

I've always said I didn't want to do them, as I would obsess over it, and we do have regular sex but at the same time, if I do see a strong line I can err influence my partner that night (or try harder if hes less in the mood!) Oh god, I hope that doesn't sound awful 🤣 is the dark line quite easy to miss? I.e does it come and go quite quickly?

@Summerbreeze111 the app is called Premom - I use the one step ovulation test strips because they're cheaper than the easy@home ones - you can use any with the app but it promotes the easy@home. I just upload them still as easy@home brand with no issue!

@Summerbreeze111 if you look at the pic I posted I did 3 on CD 14, two which were dark and The third was already going lighter so for me it doesn't last long at all! But others are different 😊

Feeling pretty much the same as always tbh, slightly swollen boobs but nothing to write home about 😂 It just doesn't feel real yet!

5/6dpo today and I’ve got very sore nipples and on and off cramping!

Feels weird to be officially trying but still a while away from actually needing to 🤣 will start opks from next week once we're back from our holiday.
