@lj2022 sorry its been 5 months it must wear thin very quick. I'm trying to tell myself currently that it's normal to take 6 months to conceive trying to think why that would be a great date around mothers day would be a great way to tell my own mum I'm hoping that will stop me from getting to disappointed but we'll see! It's not unnormal for it to take a year but thats still not exactly comforting. What does angus cactus do? Wishing you all the baby dust! Odds say not long now.

Nypie · 20/04/2022 22:53

@Brightonbelle87 ohh sorry I missed this a tentative yaay and congrats. Sore boobs for the win. Remind me of your journey please! And fingers tightly crossed for your rainbow bean.

Cherrymarket · 21/04/2022 07:12

@Brightonbelle87 ooh fingers crossed for you, will you test any more or wait til Monday?

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful good on you for prioritising health, I wish you luck in the future

thanks for all the welcomes!

FourOclock · 21/04/2022 07:14

Yay it's working Smile hello again everyone!

@Vasectomyreversalhopeful hope you are okay x

@Brightonbelle87 yay! Keeping fingers crossed for you!

Anonymouslyposting · 21/04/2022 09:26

Hi everyone, can I join?

We are going to start TTC number 2 next month, just waiting for AF to come and go then will get going. Pregnancy 1 was relatively smooth but I’ve struggled with PND after my DD so am slightly (very) terrified of going again.

Good luck to everyone (and fingers crossed that @Brightonbelle87‘s line keeps getting stronger!)

LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 09:27

Agree with the pill taking agrea to regulate. Back in 2019 when I came off it was all over the place with 7 days luteal phase and weird periods. I've been using that hana pill for last year and since I'm off that it's been clockwork 2 weeks between ov and af. Very weird! But I'm happy

@lj2022 I used the Angus castus before. Worked really well.

@Brightonbelle87 eeeeee! That's so exciting 🤞🤞🤞

WingingIt09 · 21/04/2022 09:38

@Brightonbelle87 whispering congratulations! Fingers crossed for you.

@Anonymouslyposting hi and welcome. I completely feel you there. I had quite bad post natal anxiety initially with my DD, she is 18months now. Pregnancy and birth was fine but I’m nervous about the newborn stage. How old is your little one?

it feels like a really big deal to try for another!

Anonymouslyposting · 21/04/2022 10:06

@Cherrymarket mine is also 18 months - sounds like we are in the same boat! I’m hoping the shock will be less as I have a vague idea what I’m doing now but that’s rational non-depressed me thinking rather than post-natal me…

LemonZestDribbles · 21/04/2022 10:07

@Anonymouslyposting that is very exciting! PND is awful so I can see why you'd be nervous. At least this time you'll know the signs and those around you will too. I know I'd speak out quicker to get medication quicker this time if needed.

Cherrymarket · 21/04/2022 10:16

@Anonymouslyposting very similar boat! I also wonder if it was partially the pandemic pregnancy, and post natal experience that contributes to it. Obviously I will prep my family this time to be on alert for an intervention, but I’m hoping no pandemic and a non winter baby (if we are lucky) will make a big difference…? Hopeful thinking x

tryingtryinggone · 21/04/2022 11:15

@Brightonbelle87 tentative congratulations! Any pictures? I love checking out squinters! Haha

Dreamingof3 · 21/04/2022 12:21

@Brightonbelle87 gentle congrats 🥰 everything crossed for stronger lines and no AF next week xx

Nyxxie · 21/04/2022 13:20

Jumping across to the new thread. 7dpo here and trying my best not to symptom spot! Also got my fingers crossed for a longer luteal phase this time (if not a BFP!)

@Brightonbelle87 sounds promising! 😃

WingingIt09 · 21/04/2022 13:36

Fingers crossed for you @Nyxxie how long is your luteal phase usually? X

OP posts:
Nyxxie · 21/04/2022 14:41

@WingingIt09 thanks, it was 8 days first cycle and 9 days last cycle. I've been taking vitamin b6 this cycle so hoping that has some effect

HeathenPlayingHouse · 21/04/2022 14:54

Yay! I found the new thread My app was playing up rotten yesterday so it took a while.

@Brightonbelle87 Gentle congrats, keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'm happy to say that after only 2 days on the Norethisterone, my bleeding appears to have stopped! Not sure how the rest of the cycle will go, but I'm just looking on the bright side.

WingingIt09 · 21/04/2022 15:02

@Nyxxie hopefully going in the right direction then.

@HeathenPlayingHouse glad the bleeding has stopped. Hopefully things will improve for you this cycle!

Hi, could I please join? We have decided to TTC for baby #2 in August, and I'm already very excited! I'm 27 and we have a just turned 2 year old dd who sleeps through the night, so we are just about ready to start all over again!

lj2022 · 21/04/2022 17:38

@Nypie thanks it's only really been 4 months but 5 cycles but one of which I was unwell so I know it's still early days. As time goes on it's harder not to worry but I'm the same where I keep saying 6 months for most and up to a year just keep saying to myself how it's normal. Angus castus is a herbal remedy it helps the gland that produces hormones work properly and give out the correct hormone balance so 🤞 it makes a difference to my severe PMS and lengthens my luteal phase. Baby dust to you too

@LemonZestDribbles ohh it's good to hear of someone that's used it! How long did you use it for ? Did you have irregular cycles ?

FourOclock · 21/04/2022 18:17

I was taking Agnus castus for PMT before TTC and it was like a miracle drug for me! I wasn't sure if I was allowed to take it when TTC as I hadn't taken it before my last two pregnancies but then read online that people take it to encourage ovulation (I think it was? I forget!) But anyway, it was my quickest TTC attempt yet, no idea if it was linked but worth a shot!

Dreamingof3 · 21/04/2022 19:03

@FourOclock that sounds good, i might look into it!

lj2022 · 21/04/2022 19:26

@FourOclock aw Thankyou so much for that info! I suffer horrendous PMS so even if it just helps that I'll be happy. I read they all say not to take it while pregnant as there's just no research been done on possible effects so I'm taking up until ovulation and then will start again on CD1 if not pregnant but I've read of people taking it all through TTC and pregnancy and it being completely fine

FourOclock · 21/04/2022 19:30

@lj2022 I stopped taking it as soon as I was pregnant, well I had a break in between starting TTC before reading about it, maybe a week or so but then realised I couldn't cope with PMS plus negative test emotions every month without it so just carried back on with it 🙈 but yeah I stopped as soon as I had a positive test
