we havent been trying per say and it is a shock a very very very big shock

as both other dc were difficult and lengthy to conceive

I will have 3 under 5 and I am scared

the tests are cheap predicter ones which I have found hard to read but I think they say pregnant very faintly

please advise me its silly but i am upset

ILikeToMoveItMoveIt · 08/01/2008 13:53

Can I offer my congratulations?

foxythesnowman · 08/01/2008 13:53

hi, didn't want to pass you by

Do you think you'd like to have 3 under 5?

It is completely possible (I had 3 3 and under). Now I have 4 6 and under.

Are you in good shock or bad shock?

Are you OK?

did you want another child? you say you were not trying 'per se' , but does that mean you would have wanted another in the future?

did you read the tests within the specified time? is your period late?

amIpregnant · 08/01/2008 13:54

no one with pink lines cheapo from chemist i got my pal to get me them as af hadnt come but I am a serial tester anyway so i was not expecting this although i think it says im preg but maybe im not...as faint lines and i have had one spot and a wipe of blood a few days ago and feel awful too

I remeber that feeling and my shock +ve result will be celebrating his 1st B;day next week.

It'll be fine, do what fio said and go out...get some fresh air.

amIpregnant · 08/01/2008 13:56

yes to be honest so diffult to conceive first two have sometimes used a condom sometimes not (mostly when thought most unlikely) as both of us find the two we have hard work at the mo but lovely

OP posts:
lulumama · 08/01/2008 13:57

if you did the test right, a faint positive is a positive. are you late?

amIpregnant · 08/01/2008 13:58

I am just all round shocked

as I need to be csectioned with any more babies as have had two failed labours and 2 sections

not scared but comcerned how will i cope as i have no family help nearby

and i want to know for sure if im preg

i have doc incidentally at 3.40 today anyway for minor matter thank goodness

doc might do a preg test for you. or take your tests with for him to look at? i thikn you need to know for sure before you start panicking.

amIpregnant · 08/01/2008 13:59

yes i am late a bit

but that wee bleed confused me havent ever had that before with dc

i think i read it within time limit though got such a shock so maybe not! as I have looked at them for over an hour now on and off and they didnt appear straight away actually gradually as i wont be very preg if i am preg

OP posts:
lulumama · 08/01/2008 14:00

did you use first wee of the day?

wish you guys were here to check these tests for me why did I ask my pal to drop in the cheapest ones she could buy in the chemist?? arghhh

OP posts:
lulumama · 08/01/2008 14:03

the cheapness does not matter

i got a BFP with an asda own brand test and she is 2.5 now!

if you are late and have a faint positive, and it is not an evaporation line, then you can pretty much presume you are pregnant

ladytophamhatt · 08/01/2008 14:03

I can't believe it Fio.

1..already??

surely not...we must have been in a time warp or somthing because really he should still be babe in arms, in my arms and snuggly and small... not walking along the sofa, climbing the stairs or eating the dog food whenver he gets a chnace....

where has that tiny baby gone?

amIpregnant · 08/01/2008 14:04

are evaporation lines common do you know xx sorry just trying to get my brain around this one

Flllightattendant · 08/01/2008 14:04

Could you take a piccy and upload it to your profile?

Flllightattendant · 08/01/2008 14:05

Is the line greyish or pink? If it has any colour to it, it is unlikely to be an evap.

They are usually grey/off white.

amIpregnant · 08/01/2008 14:05

no used a wee about 1 o clock

last period was nov 29th as it happened to come at an inconv time hence me remembering the date! i wouldnt normally

i think my dh will be upset as this is a shock
