Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

Ooh yay!! I tested again before bed last night and it was still very dark, not done one this morning yet but my temp only slightly increased. Yesterday was 36.15 today 36.23 but I did it twice as first time came up 36.08 but I took it out just before it beeped so think I messed it up, they've been out of whack with me having covid! But it's still a really low temp compared to my normal during the cycle. So I'd hope today is ovulation today or at a push yesterday was. I'll see if they start spiking up I guess! And I'll do a test before I go to work around 9am and see if it's started to fizzle out.

Apps are now pushing my AF back a few days due to ovulating this late but knowing me I'll be testing from 10DPO 🙈

9dpo and I caved and did a test. I've never done one before AF due but I felt some pinching and some cramping a couple of days ago. I know it's super early but BFN and now I wish I never did one.

I feel the same, even if it was positive it would be faint and I would be worrying all the way to period due date. I really should just wait to be a day late & get a nice line (hopefully) 😔

@Organictangerine it's heartbreaking isn't it. I know we are all in the same boat but it's so hard going through it every month.

I have to be honest this was cycle 1 for me so I don’t feel I have the right to complain really - especially as we dtd only once anywhere near ovulation. We were lucky enough to conceive DD on cycle 1, so I think I got complacent. Ah well - time to step up our efforts next cycle! And a February baby would be better for a few reasons so I’m telling myself that… I hope you’re okay April, how long have you been trying can I ask?

I think this is my proper peak now, I posted wrong one a min ago! It's darker than yesterdays! CD18, just unsure if I'll ovulate today or tomorrow now 🤔

@MissBlue93 could be later today or tomorrow! Definitely looks peak now

Another faint for me today. Shouldn't have tested as now I'm worrying 😬

My apps are now all assuming ovulation will be tomorrow so I guess I'll go with that!

Currently on CD13 and DTD today after a CB static smiley. Will continue trying during peak and we’ll just have to see if it sticks! AF is due 27th May. Would be nice to end the month on a positive, literally and figuratively!

I’m imagining things aren’t I 😞 does anyone ever do that thing where they stare for so long the line vanishes then it comes back next time you look?

Could do with a bit of a handhold today!! I know I'm definitely out for May, BFN and AF symptoms today.

I had a miscarriage in March, found out a colleague was pregnant the exact same time. She's announced her pregnancy to the whole office today and everyone's so cheery and celebrating - I am of course happy for her but I feel so sad and emotional because I should be announcing mine this week too.

TTC just feels like such a hard journey especially today

I got an exxxxxxtremely faint + like impossible to picture 🙄 so Iv turned to grey not counting it it’s like sooo hard to see it’s ridiculous

@ElleBelleLou it’s so hard when it’s something you want so badly! After many losses and losing my daughter after she was cremated I couldn’t see how I could ever have a child but it’s true what they say miracles do happen and one day your very awaited bundle will happen it’s just sometimes heartache and stress to get there xxxx

I got a flashing smiley on a CB digital today on CD7, I usually Ov on CD11/12 but I’ve had ewcm today and I’m sure Ov pains on the left side. I really hope I’m not Ov this early. Also, does anyone know which is the test line and which is the control line on the CB Ov stick?

@ElleBelleLou your body is probably just taking a couple of months to adjust after the MC hopefully you won’t have to wait too much longer x

The control line is usually the furthest away from the bit you pee on. You can get flashing for quite a while before a static I think so don’t worry.

Hi all, feeling a little sad today after testing at 12DPO and getting a BFN. AF due at the weekend so there's still hope I guess but I have a feeling this won't be my month.

I'm also not going to be lucky in May, I still haven't had a period after my miscarriage in March, I was expecting it at the end of April/early May but still hasn't come. Good luck every else and/or see you in the June group!

@ElleBelleLou that must be so so so hard. Don't be tough on yourself either - you can be happy for them and still really sad too. It won't be long before you get that bfp too ❤

Two faint lines on frer and two shadows on one step - I've not been able to shake this feeling I'm pregnant. Mainly from the indigestion, hard nipples and bubbly feeling. Got this this evening 😬🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞

In the morning?? Iv been holding wee 🤣 Iv started now il be a 3 times a day tester 🙄 every month I say I won’t . Every month but SOMEONE buys lots of tests pfffttt il do first unreliable frer in the morning though
