Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

I'm out ladies, AF arrived last night while I was at a wedding - rude!! I was pretty sure that it was going to happen because of all the BFNs! We go again I guess!

@Catred4 I'm out too, AF arrived literally after I sent that message earlier, feeling gutted as I thinks it's too late for a breakthrough/implantation bleed 😢

Hey ladies, I'm usually a 28 day cycle but it looks like I'm still not ovulating yet. Yesterday when I wiped there was a load of EWCM and it was like jelly. Barely had any since but all OPKs negative. We have barely BD because we both tested positive for covid 😭 these are my OPKS the last few days. Before that they were all negative too. Could it be possible I'm just not quite there yet? All my apps are saying I should of ovulated between 6th and the next few days. None are the same! Last month I didn't track with OPKs or BBT so not sure when I ovulated but had loads of EWCM so think it was around CD15/16. Today I'm CD15 x

@Organictangerine counting the seconds!! I'm going to have to steer myself away from shops this week because I know if I buy a test I'll break and take it the same day!!

Same! My finger was hovering over the button to buy FRER from Amazon prime but I knew if they arrived tomorrow I would take one at 8dpo 🤦🏼‍♀️ and probably be disappointed. So I’m going to order them Thursday 🤞🏻

Cd26 of 28 day cycle. No AF yet but I think I missed trying around ovulation anyway. No symptoms whatsoever so I guess I'll wait for AF to surprise me.

I haven't been charting anything this time since we all got a sickness bug right at the start of my FW.
Have to say, this is the most fun me and DH have had in a while. Loads of dtd but no thoughts of methods or babies, probably missed the window but so good to reconnect with him!! Feels like the honeymoon phase!!

5dpo Iv started taking covid tests to help my addiction 😂🤣😂 will start testing Wednesday 🙄 then regret it when it’s a chemical

@MissBlue93 go by cm Incase you have a short surge then the tests won’t pick it up

That's what I was thinking, we BD twice today but not yesterday as we both felt so rough with covid. Will keep testing just incase it's a late surge and see what happens with my BBT as well!

Pretty sure I'm out! Was so confident after my FRER at 8DPO but this is my 10DPO test (and I was getting good positives on these tests from 8DPO last time I conceived), and on closer inspection the tests seem to have a line on before they're even taken so oh well. Onto the next cycle!

@MissBlue93 twice in one day is good going! Don’t think I’ve managed that since I was 18 🤣

I think I will get my peak today, and I usually ovulate day of peak or shortly after. We’ve managed to do the sex (/borat) once this window so it’s unlikely anything is going to happen this month. Back to shifts now though so unlikely I will see DH before Fw is over (unless I don’t get my peak today)…

@ElleBelleLou i never use a one step as I find them awful, but I am disappointed in FRER as so many seem to be saying indent lines!

that FRER looks like my first bfp at 10dpo… it’s annoying if it shows that line and it’s not true

He tried for a 3rd time late at night and I told him to bugger off 😂 it was spaced out though one time was first thing in morning and second was about 4:30pm! My bbt is all over the place but I think that's down to covid, even if I don't conceive this month it's just nice to start tracking and seeing what my body is doing. Fingers crossed I just haven't ovulated yet, I usually get lots of cramping and twinges around ovulation and haven't had much of that yet.

gosh I’m so sorry. How insensitive. My brain is clearly not in gear and figured as my bfp was in May. Wishing you all lots of luck.

This is long and going to sound strange 😂 DS wasn't planned but after one of our "sessions" the month we conceived him I remember just feeling different and couldn't put my finger on it. Last night managed to dtd with my partner and I've got that same weird feeling again, hoping it's a good sign as I haven't had that feeling again during my ttc journey so far!

I've had really bad indigestion this weekend - something I've not had since I was pregnant with my ds. I'm hoping that's a good sign and not just the pate speead very thick on a cheese bloomer Saturday lunch 🤔🙃 my mood swings have been awful too. I'm not sure if it's pmt/stress/dh being annoying/a good sign. I had definitely forgotten how emotionally taxing ttc is.

@LemonZestDribbles oooh hopefully these are all good signs for you! And it definitely is emotionally taxing but worth it in the end ❤

It doesn't happen often haha! We had gone a few days without due to both feeling so poorly. Does this chart look like I might possibly be starting to get closer to ovulation? I know they're still negative but the lines do look like they're slowly getting darker to me x

I got my Positive opk today and can feel my egg popping so we definitely timed our one time correctly. Will start the first dc2 tww tomorrow, feels surreal to be at this point again!

Anyone know if BBT remains persistently high during implantation bleed? I started my period yesterday but temps are still elevated and the internet has got me feeling hopeful that it could be an implantation bleed 🥺
