Hoping for BFP in May

CD1 here, starting a new thread for those who are hoping to get a BFP in May for a January/February baby 🥰

This is my cycle 3 trying for #2. I've got an 18mo old son.

I was up at like 3am this morning, couldn't sleep 🙈 awake for an hour then finally managed to go back to sleep!

@HansBanans I haven’t but I did use the boots strip ones and found them good! Others may disagree though. You are right clear blue are so expensive!

I think I'm out for May. Just starting my FW now and norovirus has come to our house. DH is just getting over it and I'm just starting!!! Cant see much sexy time happening!!

Hi everyone, hope you don’t mind me joining in!

On 5/6dpo started getting really unusual symptoms for me. Started with cramping and twinges and almost like a sharp drumming sensation in my uterus, followed by a weird bubbling/popping sensation behind my belly button and cramping that was moving around all over my lower abdomen. The cramping went on intermittently for 2 days and was completely different to anything I’ve ever experienced before. Been having light cramps sporadically ever since.

7dpo I was on a night out with work and couldn’t face more than 2 sips of my wine. 8dpo, woke up feeling like I had an awful hangover despite not drinking. I was so tired, had a really sore head and so nauseas I was actually sick. I’ve also been horribly bloated and had a really full feeling in my stomach since around 7dpo.

Currently 9dpo and stupidly tested this morning using an internet cheapie and bfn, trying to resist the temptation to try again today because I know it will be the same answer!

I know I should try to hold off until Thurs (AF due Fri), but not sure I’ll manage!

Did you have any TWW symptoms?

Opks went very high yesterday afternoon and I'm pretty sure peak this morning. Got our last chance to dtd tonight before dh is away but I think we've given it our best possible shot so far 🤞

@Decaffe thank you lovely. I had cramps in my tummy and lower back, bloating and feeling tired. All felt quite similar to af approaching though. Indigestion now and then too!

@Steph149 sounds exact same as me. AF due Thursday but don't know if I can wait. I've had nausea on and off since 5pm then suddenly stopped. I never get cramping until cycle day 26 at least so I'm living hopefully!

@RBSK1 hopefully we can try to keep each other sane for the next few days! Have you tested so far this cycle/when are you planning to?

I know I’m being silly, but my symptoms have all been so strong and so unusual (cramping was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before and in completely the wrong place for any early AF type cramping) that I was convinced I’d be able to see even a vvfl by now, trying not to overthink it though!

@Steph149 after reading the last few days I'm gonna take a sneaky one now 👀😂

If it's bfn, I'm gonna wait until Thursday to see if AF arrives. Yeah I've been the same with symptoms, I'm usually breezing through each month with no cramps until a few days before, but had horrendous pains from cd13-cd19

I'm convinced there's a faint line there, it's supposed to be a plus if it's positive.
Partner isn't convinced. I will retest in a few days anyway but tell me I'm not seeing things

I caved and tested at 8dpo, super early. But got this?! I'm not sure if the line is too thin to be a positive but it came up straight away 🤷‍♀️

Took another cheapie this morning and a definite BFN. Feeling very deflated, down and weepy the last few days, this morning especially. Which isn't like me when AF is on her way but you never know. Resigned myself to the fact it's probably not happened this month!
We'll see on Thursday if we have anything more positive to share

Hi @Cherrymarket I'm doing okay, felt a little sick earlier but it seems to be easing now. Hope you are ok, I'm testing tomorrow if AF doesn't make an appearance 🤞
