Hi all! I'm currently 1dpo.. so officially in the last stage of this cycle! I should be due AF around April 19th, which happens to be my birthday! So I'm going to try really hard not to test until then. Anyone else around the same?!

Good morning everyone - my apps are saying I’m
anywhere from 7dpo-9dpo today. Just tested and got a BFN. Slight line eyes so asked DH to look and he said I was being mad and deffo just trying to see something that didn’t exist!

I had some spotting yesterday evening after I was experiencing nausea , but that’s now stopped. Mild pms cramps, and I’m starting to just get a gut feel that my period is on its way, and that yesterday was just PMS nausea my last luteal phase was very short )7days

How’s everyone else holding up?

Rosegold3112 · 12/04/2022 07:26

Morning ladies! My spotting stopped completely yesterday and cramps have gone. My spotting was only after bm though so that could be why I haven't seen any. I gave in and got some cheapie tests from tesco and did one last night after a long hold and thought I could see a line appearing just at the 5 min mark though 😒 so I did another and nothing. The first test I dipped for 15 seconds and the second only 5 so I don't know if time affects evaps. So frustrating! Done another this morning and the same thing happened, just before my alarm was about to go for 5 mins I thought i could see something. There was a definite faint line there while I was staring for the next 2 mins but then it's past the time 🙄 trying not to get my hopes up. I woke DH up to show him and shine torches everywhere so he's not best pleased with me 😂 so hard not to get my hopes up.

How is everyone else feeling today?

Rosegold3112 · 12/04/2022 07:33

@GeraniumCedarwood just read your post and feel in the same boat exactly! I woke DH to look at my test but no idea why as he can never see lines unless they're blaringly obvious. And then no matter how many times I explain the difference between opks and hpts he gets confused and insists its only positive if the line is darker than the control 🙄😂 still I bother him with it every time! No matter what he says I can definitely see a line but I think it's an evap on mine as it appeared at 5 mins. So frustrating the wait isn't it!

Rosegold3112 · 12/04/2022 07:34

Oh also, I've had horrible cold symptoms since yesterday and feel much worse today. My temp was then raised again and all my apps have changed their mind that I o'd yesterday now 😒 bloody technology 😂

GeraniumCedarwood · 12/04/2022 07:43

@Rosegold3112 sounds like we are having similar symptoms, what dpo should you be today before your apps moved? One of mine moved my ovulation day forward a few days ago. What are you using? I’m using natural cycles, fertility friend and Premom , I hope it works out for at least one of us. My spotting last night was a similar colour to the picture you posted but it appeared a bit heavier when I wiped. Really praying it doesn’t return today!

But also trying not to get my hopes up as I’m waiting to hopefully get to see a gynaecologist about a number of issues I’m generally having which I think might be impacting on my fertility.

GoT1904 · 12/04/2022 07:55

@Rosegold3112 @ArcEnCiel2022 have either of you got pics??

I swear I've just got the faintest ever line on a FRER!!!! I dunno if the camera will pick it up though. Last time I got a light line on a FRER I retested that evening and it was darker so that's what I'll be doing today 😂😂 I promised myself I wouldn't test till 10dpo and I've already wee'd on 2 of my 4 FRER ffs xxx

@GeraniumCedarwood I'm using premom, fertility friend and femometer. Premom says I'm 10dpo, it out a coverline in today. FF thinks I o'd yesterday and haven't entered on the last one yet. I think I'm 9dpo though so would be very early to be getting a line. I hope you get some answers from a gynaecologist soon. I find ttc opens uk so many questions and makes me feel so out of control of my body. It's an anxiety minefield!

@GoT1904 ooh so exciting! I really hope it's the real deal for you 🤞 nothing worse than trying to get a pic of a faint line though, just reinforces the line eyes 😂 I'm just like you, I always say I'll wait but as soon as tests are in the house they go so quick! DH always buys extra cos he knows what I'm like but really it just makes me test more. They're like chocolate 😂 I got a pic of this mornings. Last night's line is very obvious and was after 10 mins which makes me think they're evaps cos it's far too early to be getting strong lines for me I think, but still here's hoping! Have you managed to get a pic?

Wow I can really see those though @Rosegold3112, but they are faint. I'm trying to see if I can get a pic of mine! Idk if I can though lol xx

Morning ladies,

Ooo it's all happening this morning!! 😅

@Rosegold3112 I definitely see a line!

I had an awful nights sleep last night and woke up feeling so sick and hot.. decided to test as all my will power went out the window.

Sure I can see vvvvvv faint line but I'm completely convinced they're evaps though so not feeling hopeful..

Hard to see in the photos but I have tried to adjust so you can see what I can see..

The cheaper test showed up straight away but the clearblue appeared after about 5 minutes so don't think it's reliable.. Also did a cheap one-step and negative.

Will maybe try and hold and test again later.

Feel so awful today but think it's lack of sleep 😩

I've tweaked this heavily obviously to try show.. it's so faint. Still potentially indent/line eyes at this point so not getting my hopes up. But my heart skipped a beat when I saw it xx

Morning everyone,

Congrats on the lines, I can definitely see them both! ❤️

I did a FRER this morning and it couldn't have been more negative, I've just got this sinking feeling I'm out for this month. But this is my first cycle TTC in 5 years so I don't remember how long it took for a positive 😂

If I had spotting last Wednesday which I was hoping was implantation, should I be getting at least a faint positive 6 days later?

I feel fine, slightly crampy, actually a bit hungrier than usual I think...the thing that almost had me convinced is I've been suffering from recurrent thrush, like clockwork, the week before my period for a year, my period is due Monday but no thrush this month. My CM is also different thinking about it...I'm driving myself crazy overthinking this!

Graceybaby · 12/04/2022 08:32

I can see it @GoT1904!

Really hope this is the start of your BFP 🎉

GoT1904 · 12/04/2022 08:32

Sorry @GeraniumCedarwood I don't think I did your post justice as I was so wrapped up in my FRER. Do you wanna talk about your gynae issues? I've a little experience. Xx

GoT1904 · 12/04/2022 08:34

Morning @dinoparadise! How are you confirming ovulation? Is it possible you ovulated when you spotted? I used to spot around ovulation at one point in time. If it was implantation bleeding I'd have thought you'd have a line by now. But it's possible you wouldn't. Your symptoms sound promising! Xx

GoT1904 · 12/04/2022 08:34

Eeeeee thanks @Graceybaby. I hope so too. And for you! Xx

T4Opal · 12/04/2022 08:36

Argh so exciting for both of you!!
I caved too early yesterday so have told myself I’m not allowed to test today. Hcg doubles every 48 hours and I am still getting sore boobs so we’ll see!

dinoparadise · 12/04/2022 08:37

@GoT1904 I had a peak OPK on the digital clearblue the Wednesday before the spotting, so it would have been a week between the two which I thought was about right for implantation!

Also I crossed posted with your picture, I see the line there!! 🤞🏻

Graceybaby · 12/04/2022 08:40

@GoT1904

I see yours too *@Graceybaby*!! Why do we do this to ourselves 😂😂 xxx
I honestly don't know.. kind of wishing I hadn't tested... just going to drive myself crazy all day now.. 😅

Just trying not to get my hopes up!

@dinoparadise It's so frustrating isn't, we drive ourselves crazy... I've been losing sleep the last couple of nights just feeling so anxious about it all.. Hope you're ok 😊

xx

GeraniumCedarwood · 12/04/2022 08:41

@Graceybaby @GoT1904 @Rosegold3112 amazing - I seen squinty lines on all of them. Keeping everything crossed for you both!

@GoT1904 - thanks. I have a history of polyps and I think I may have undiagnosed endometriosis. I have mid cycle bleeding and spotting, I don’t ovulate until at least day 20, and my luteal phase has been short for the last 5 cycles at either 7-10 days. Also have issues keeping hold of babies when I do conceive so I’m wondering if I have low progesterone. Every time I do have a gynaecologist appointment they usually just send me for a scan and remove another polyp, but there doesn’t stop all of my symptoms and I don’t want to keep getting scar tissue on my uterus every time they remove another one, or to keep having day surgeries.

GoT1904 · 12/04/2022 08:47

How many dpo are you @T4Opal?

@dinoparadise yeah you're right, it really would be around the right time for implantation. How weird! I'd keep testing though.

@Graceybaby I know!!!! I've got my FRER sat in my bra so I can keep whipping it out and looking at it hahaha.

Ahh sorry @GeraniumCedarwood I've had fibroids but none that required removal. And treatment for abnormal cells. Have you considered aspirin? My friend has just been told to take it by GP after some losses. Not sure if its helped yet though, but it's apparently a miracle at preventing MC. Hope you get answers soon. Xx

dinoparadise · 12/04/2022 08:47

@Graceybaby thank you, I'm ok, but I forgot how all consuming I found TTC! I worry that now I'm older it won't happen as well, I've been pregnant 3 times, 2 miscarriages, 1 baby but each time I was lucky enough to catch first month, so I guess I was hoping it was going to be the same this time around. It's more panic I'm feeling I think that this journey might be different to 5 years ago or even the same and that I'll miscarry again. It's emotional for sure!

GeraniumCedarwood · 12/04/2022 08:59

@GoT1904, I am under investigation also for "sticky blood" but told in a letter from that consultant only to task aspirin after a BFP not before. Thanks, I'm 32 now and it's been 4 years since I was pregnant the first time.l really hope I start to get some significant progress with investigations, or I'm going to have to go private. DH is clearly gutted each month too. His little swimmers are pretty perfect, so it's hard when you know you're the issue.

Graceybaby · 12/04/2022 09:00

@dinoparadise, It is so consuming, I had forgotten too and I do think it gets more consuming the older you get because you do feel like you're running out of time.. it's been 5 years since I conceived my son and I feel so much more anxious about it all this time.. thinking about the higher risks now and how long it may take.. we are all here for moral support 💕

Rosegold3112 · 12/04/2022 09:16

@Graceybaby @GoT1904 I see yours too! Ooh I've got everything crossed for all of us! I'm considering getting DH to get some proper tests on his way home from work today but I'm unsure if I'm quite prepared to burst my bubble yet.

@GeraniumCedarwood sorry to hear about your polyps. Have you maybe got a supportive gp that might be willing to conduct some blood tests to help diagnose low progesterone? It might be quicker than waiting for gynae to do it?
