Anyone testing around April 19th? My 2ww is just starting.

Hi all! I'm currently 1dpo.. so officially in the last stage of this cycle! I should be due AF around April 19th, which happens to be my birthday! So I'm going to try really hard not to test until then. Anyone else around the same?!

Thanks @ArcEnCiel2022 I hope it's a symptom of that too, but counting it as CD1.. I've just come off the pill so maybe my body is still adjusting and that's why the shorter LP. Xx

Does anyone have any experience using the freedom tests? Is this an indent or am I imagining things?

@ArcEnCiel2022 I'd really like that. I'm pretty sure I'm out, I just don't want to believe it. I'm so sad, and it brings back the feelings that I should have been due on my birthday too. I think it's more emotional as it was completely out of the blue with it being so early. I wasn't ready to be out quite yet. But I suppose this is a fresh cycle and so maybe I'll get my bfp near month. :) it's just sad isn't it.

I actually just feel so deluded. Like thinking I can see lines, then I had that implantation bleeding dream last night... I bet my unconscious self recognised cramps or something then made that dream up.

So even though I've been bleeding today I've been still hoping. I feel really silly and really sad. Xx

AF has showed up for me today so my imaginary line was just that! I've been feeling sad recently but kind of relieved that I know for certain now, and hoping for a January baby 🤞🏼

@GoT1904 Please don't feel silly at all, I'm exactly the same! it's so hard isn't it? ☹️ My mum was telling me today how when she got pregnant with me she had to go to a pharmacy for a test and the pharmacist would do it for you, I wish this was still the case I don't think I would have tested so much!

@Graceybaby I caved and did another test and it’s still a bfn. I’m fully expecting AF to pay a visit. ‘T cycles vary each month from 25-30 days so I’m not quite out the window. My boobs are a bit sore/ twingy/achy and I am feeling quite queasy but only ever in the evenings - again not reading into too much as I can get like that before I’m due on.

I’m really going to hold off testing now until maybe Monday if AF still hasn’t appeared. I just can’t afford to keep buying them!

My last to term pregnancy with my daughter I tested the day before I was due on at 11am and it was a strong result and my last pregnancy (ended in m/c) was similar timing but not as strong result so I was expecting this one to follow suit. Who knows. All I’m saying is I’m not out until AF shows up!

It is @PrettyPolly92. I remember my mum telling me that too!! I'm sorry AF got you. Its honestly a comfort being on this thread, knowing we're going into another cycle together. It's crazy how line eyes are a real thing.

My evening update is that a while ago, my bleeding had stopped and so I did a cheapie test, then now it's back. 😂😂 I think maybe my body doesn't know what it's doing after the pill.

I'm not going to take ovulation tests this cycle, I think when I know what date I'm on etc, I obsess too much. Gonna try DTD often, make a note of OV symptoms but not try pinpoint it exactly.

@PositivelyPrehistoricMom Your definitely not out until AF arrives.. I spent all week going back and forth thinking am I aren't I it was exhausting and if I hadn't off got pregnant this cycle, next cycle would have been very different for me. I let it consume me far too much that I wasn't even sleeping. I actually am so surprised it stuck with my body is such a rundown state.

Not feeling as sick.today, just trying to relax and let me body do it's thing.. won't be taking any more tests as it'll just stress me out. Will book a private scan for around 8 weeks xx

We’ll first off all, so much for me saying I wouldn’t test. Flo gave me my due on date as being Wednesday but then today it said I was one day late and to take a test so I think it must look at all your past cycles and give a window of when AF can be due as yesterday was CD day 30 @GoT1904.

So anyway I’ve tested. It’s a first response one and I’ve clearly got a v faint line but it’s still a positive right?! I know Hcg doubles every day so time to take care of myself and get myself to the dr for some higher strength folic acid to take than the standard (they wouldn’t prescribe it me before even tho they told me I needed it being older!)

Would people recommend me testing in a week or so on a digital?

Now to hope this baby is a sticky one (m/c at 11.6 weeks last time)

Congratulations on your bfp @Graceybaby I missed your post I’m so pleased for you. I’m run down too and have behaved somewhat obsessively I may even book a private early scan too!

If youre a day late I would say a digi would be positive too.. Think I took mine when what would have been a day late but if you want to be absolutely certain maybe leave it a couple of days 😊

@GoT1904 thank you. I’m okay. Physically I’m tired (but have a 5 year old so it’s par for the course!) and I get queasy mainly at night, can’t eat as much without feeling like I’m going to upchuck. I was barely sick with my daughter so praying that’s a good sign! Emotionally I’m running a gauntlet of being so happy and excited (with it being last chance saloon and all with my age) to being scared witless that we’ll lose this one as well. Just praying it’ll stick 🙏 calculated we’ll be having an Xmas eve baby based on last period/on this cycle of 30 days x

I’ve just seen your post from yesterday. I’m so sorry, I think a whole lot of us can empathise with how you’re feeling. You shouldn’t feel silly and you’re allowed to feel sad. Give yourself the space to give your sadness the value it needs and we’re all here to hold you up. Sending you massive huge hugs xxx

@Graceybaby I’m pleased, but after saying I was only feeling queasy in the PM, I thought i was going throw up in the bushes of the car park this morning after dropping DD to dancing!! As much as preg sickness is horrid it’s settling my mind a bit that everything is progressing ok x praying for our sticky babies 🙏🙏 xx

@GoT1904 your comment about feeling deluded - you're certainly not alone! I'm still testing despite being 90% sure I'm out. I'm getting so many evap lines which is just so cruel but I can't bring myself to throw the tests away. Af is due tomorrow or mon and I have zero cramps. There's something so very off with my cycles. I have had more cramps while I was ovulating and up until 8dpo rather than now when I should be. My temp took a drop this morning so I imagine it will be here tomo or mon as scheduled.

My due date for my last pregnancy was 18th of May and I know it sounds silly but I was hoping I would be pregnant again by then so I wouldn't feel so empty on the day. Instead I think my body is still messed up by it. I never got evaps before that pregnancy either and if I'm being honest I've tested every cycle since and always get some evaps. I'm so worried my body isn't working properly and that was my last chance for another baby.

Ah all the emotions. A definite sign af is on her way 😂 I hope everyone is enjoying the Easter weekend!

I was as well considering to don't do opk this month to take it more relaxed, but then I changed my mind because my luteal phase has been so short, I want to know what is going on...
