Any one conceived in their 40s?

Sorry for posting again so soon. I only joined last night and have done two posts already.

I'm feeling so disheartened and just wondered if there's anyone who can tell me they have conceived naturally over the age of 40?

My friend did - she’d had IVF ten years previously to have her DC1 and then gave up all hope of having another due to the cost plus the emotional and physical impact of further cycles of IVF. She conceived naturally at 42. My Granny had my Uncle at 44 - no fertility treatment either.

A client of my DH’s has just given birth to her naturally conceived child in her early fifties!

When I had my DC, I was the only one in late 20s in my antenatal classes and then toddler groups. Everyone else conceived naturally and were early 40s.

Yep conceived 1st at 43, plot your ovulation with ovulation strips I found mine was out of sync with most on line trackers I was ovulating earlier than the norm.

OP if you have been trying for over 6 months both you and your DP both need to get checked out.

Not quite 40...conceived naturally on first try at 39. Genuinely surprised by how quickly it happened.

I'm 40 and this is my first month trying. I'm not expecting it to be easy, or even to happen at all if I'm honest. But these stories give me a bit of hope!

I was 41 with Ds2. Best friend had her second at 43.

Yes, by accident I'm currently pregnant. I'm 46 in a few days!

I was 40 with my second.Im 42 and currently 30 weeks pregnant with our third.

Yes, I was just shy of 41, DH was almost 46. Conceived with no effort and no help (no charting, vitamins or anything else). First baby for both of us.
We aren’t having a number 2, but a recent fertility check at almost 44 and 49 suggests we are still good. It’s luck of the draw.

My mum had me at 43.
