Hey all,

Simple post really, according to Flo and my current symptoms, I am due to ovulate today or tomorrow. Still trying to figure out OPK's and so not really been using them.

Just wondered if anybody wanted to go through the Two week window with me.

Have dtd a few times over the past few days and so hoping to have some luck this cycle.

Baby dust to all of you

I'm another short and wide person hahaha
7 DPO today. I open my fertility apps multiple times a day to see if my DPO has changed 🤣 itching to test but trying to wait for as long as possible!!!

Cally1980 · 11/03/2022 12:18

Well today I’m very bloated and my cervix has come down a bit and isn’t so soft. I’m guessing I’m not pregnant. I don’t feel pregnant either. Just gross.

BuchananBaby · 11/03/2022 19:03

@Cally1980 when is af due?

@helloworld88 I sometimes accidentally click on another day and get excited I can test 🙈😂

Hope everyone's looking forward to the weekend! We're flying to London tomorrow morning at 8am 😐, need to be at the airport at 6 so up at 5 to get ready that's going to be some laugh trying to get DD up at that time 🙈😂

Cally1980 · 11/03/2022 19:25

@BuchananBaby

AF isn’t due until March 20 :(

LittleMrsMama · 11/03/2022 19:43
**@BuchananBaby* @LittleMrsMama* I was planning to test on day 9 but instead, and as it’s my first month trying, I’m gonna get some cheap amazon tests and do it as much as I like hahahaaa 😬
These are the ones I bought and they are so sensitive. Only issue is they come in a box of 20 so VERY tempting to test early and often 😂🤦‍♀️

Deal: Easy@Home 20 x Pregnancy Test Strips for Early Detection 10 MIU/ml, Fertility Test Kit, 20 HCG Tests https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DOJWJ3U/ref=cmswwrcppapiglttidllT720ANETVVW5X5Y29HPZ?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Hey guys.

I hope you are all doing okay and the TWW is not driving you to insane.
I honestly feel so crap today. I have a dodgy belly and am struggling to keep anything in between the nausea and the dodgy belly. Honestly it sucks right now but I have spent the day looking after my partner wafted his Emergancy dental surgery today. So it's been a super busy day today.

Hope you're feeling better soon @Gillseybear
Is it possible the app could have got your ovulation date wrong (I remember you saying Monday just gone) and these could be pregnancy symptoms? Implantation is usually 5-10 DPO so feels quite early to be pregnancy related otherwise. I really hope they are pregnancy symptoms though and keeping everything crossed for you! I felt the same with my first pregnancy, I felt awful really early on about 10 DPO which led me to doing a test and getting a BFP.

Cally1980 · 12/03/2022 00:01

Hi, so it’s late and I’m 7dpo and suddenly have cramping which I don’t normally get. I also feel sick and flushed. Is this a symptom? I’ve had to use the bathroom due to cramps, does anyone know how long they are meant to last for if they are implantation? I’ve also had some spicy chicken wings about 5 hours ago so I’m not getting my hopes up too much.

Cheeeeeeeks · 12/03/2022 00:25

Hi everyone, please may I join?
How does one know they have definitely ovulated? I used an ovulation test and got two lines the same shade. Does this mean I will be ovulating in the next 24-36 hours? Also, would the lines still be the same or darker if I am ovulating. I'm not sure how people know for sure when they have ovulated? Thank you in advance!

@LittleMrsMama thank you so much for your response it's been an awful few days. If I did ovulate then I overheated on Monday or Tuesday. I am just waiting to see what happens at the moment to be honest. The first MC I had, I got symptoms almost straight away and so when I got that positive test I was not overly surprised. My AF is not due until the 23rd of march and so still a fair way of yey. This cycles is different to last cycle. During my last cycle I had spotting continuously from ovulation day until the 25th. I then had some very light AF bleeding overnight between the 25th and 26th of February but that was it. However, this month I had a little bit of spotting on Tuesday but that was it. However I have still had EWCM and so I am going to just keep an eye on it and see what happens. Dunno if this means I fell pregnant last cycle of this is a good sign for this cycle.

@Cally1980 it could very well be implantation pain but really hard to know. I posted my symptoms from my last pregnancy on this thread a few days ago and they might help. I had cramps around 5-7DPO followed by a pulling sensation

@Cheeeeeeeks - yes I'd say the same, ovulation 24-36 hours after a positive OPK then the line lightens up. I'm no expert though!

@Gillseybear sorry to hear about your MC, I had one at the start of the year and it's awful. Sounds like a very confusing month with your cycle so they could very well be pregnancy symptoms! Or your 'period' from before could be implantation bleeding from a pregnancy last month? Have you taken a test?

helloworld88 · 12/03/2022 08:24

I'm 8dpo and have the same symptoms as you! The pulling/cramping is all on one side too. I had a chemical pregnancy last month and it's the opposite side. Also had sore boobs.

When is everyone planning to test?

Aardbeien · 12/03/2022 08:27

I never thought I'd be one to say "how soon is too soon" for testing but here I am. It's only about 8dpo I think so it's on my mind frequently.

GeraniumCedarwood · 12/03/2022 08:54

Exciting for those of you that have cramps. My boobs were tender but feeling nothing now today - so that was clearly just progesterone (I’m around 7dpo) no cramping or anything this end, all symptoms appear to be dying down. So I’m thinking I’m probably out! Xx

Cally1980 · 12/03/2022 09:24

Thanks @LittleMrsMama keeping my fingers crossed!

@helloworld88 it’s such a rollercoaster one minute you think ‘nah not this time’ and then 5 mins later you’re hopeful again.

My cramps stopped after an hour and haven’t come back since. I’m 8dpo today and at least 7/8 days before AF is due.
Partner has a vasectomy reversal 6months ago (neither of us have children) so even if I get a chemical pregnancy it would be good to know if the operation worked.

Gillseybear · 12/03/2022 11:28

@LittleMrsMama
I didn't even think about that to be honest. I have had so much going on with trying to start my new job and change doctors. I am popping out today and so I will pick up some tests then. I shall do a test with FMU in the morning and see what that yealds. It would explain an awful lot to be honest

If anyone is looking to kill time I’ve found an amazing animation of the process:
m.youtube.com/watch?v=_5OvgQW6FG4

There’s also one on ovulation!

LittleMrsMama · 12/03/2022 19:37

@Aardbeien we are all such rational people until we start trying for a baby! 😛🤦‍♀️ I'm trying my best to hold out until about 12DPO - I'd have said 14 but realistically I know I won't last that long (even 12 is ambitious). I've had a positive at 9DPO before so would say you're not too far off testing if you wanted. It's exciting finding out sooner if it's a BFP but heartbreaking to get hopes up every day if it's a BFN thinking 'maybe it was just too early yesterday?'

@Gillseybear good luck with the FRER tomorrow! Let us know how you get on!

Thanks for the video @Cally1980 I'll watch when I'm not around DH so I don't freak him out too much!

Aardbeien · 12/03/2022 20:24

@LittleMrsMama
It's hard to be rational about a situation we've been wanting and waiting for 😂 let's both try to get to 12 days at least! Keeping my fingers crossed that we all get those BFP results that we're looking for!

LittleMrsMama · 12/03/2022 20:33

You're so right @Aardbeien I think with most other things in life you can work hard or you can somehow influence the outcome in some way. Getting pregnant feels so out of our hands and just down to luck. Only 4 more days until you're 12DPO so not long left to wait, here I am about 4 days in, it's going to be a long 8 days! Haha

Cally1980 · 13/03/2022 00:17

Just freaked myself and partner out. Thought I’d did two hcg tests but had done one hcg and one OPK by accident! Hcg had faint line and for a few minutes though we’d done it! Argh seems like I’m still releasing lh on 8dpo.

Starting the TWW. Anybody want to join???
Cheeeeeeeks · 13/03/2022 02:34

Thanks @LittleMrsMama I had a lot of cramping today so I'm assuming I am now 1DPO

That was a very informative video @Cally1980 thank you

Cheeeeeeeks · 13/03/2022 02:37

@Cally1980 did you mean a faint line on the OPK?

helloworld88 · 13/03/2022 03:30

@Cally1980 oh nooo! Yeah think we're always producing LH and you can even still get a surge just before AF which is confusing!

Fingers crossed for a positive HCG test soon for you!

LittleMrsMama · 13/03/2022 08:27

I agree with @helloworld88 re LH all throughout the cycle so nothing to worry about @Cally1980

I just did my test at 5DPO and still had a faint line. I had strong positive OPKs when I was last pregnant but I mean a very strong dark second line as if I was ovulating
