Hello! After this current packet, I am coming off my pill then waiting a few months to eat healthy, let my cycle go back to normal then track ovulation... then hoping to start ttc in July 🙂 Very excited, and a little nervous.
Is anyone else waiting to try?

Same here looking to finish my pack this month and ttc too, I'm the same super excited but sooo nervous.
I was pregnant about 11 years ago but unfortunately had a miscarriage so I'm super nervous.
I've been reading lots of threads so there seems to be a lot of lovely ladies out there for support

Hi OP,
Me too, although I can’t quite believe I’m saying that (hence the nickname 
). I have the Mirena coil at the moment but it expires in May and I’m going to take a few months then for my cycle to return etc. We’d be hoping to start trying in the autumn but I think it will be a bit of a ‘wait and see what happens’ approach rather than tracking, at least to start with. @Leanne5291 That sounds very sensible and a good idea to be relaxed and go with the flow and not stress too much.
Yes I do plan to track, I want to be sure of my ovulation dates (and be reassured i am still ovulating lol) plus my dh works quite late at times and we are a bit tired through the week so could easily miss the fertile window 🤣 but if after a few months I stress myself out too much then I will stop and be more relaxed 😊
Is your dp excited?
@OMGTTC hoping your cycles go back to normal quite quickly so you can ttc in the autumn, this would mean a lovely summer baby 🙂, Is this your first?

Me 😊 I have an 18mo DS and hoping to start TTC again in June/July time! I went back on the pill for about 6m after he was born but it just doesn't agree with me and when I came off it first time round, my cycles were awful (40-70 days). So I've been off it again around 6m now and seem to have a lovely 30 day cycle with definite ovulation again! I feel happier now that I'm tracking and knowing my cycle properly. Hoping it makes me feel a bit more in control this time around 😅 I don't want to stress about it!

Hi 🙂 @fancyfrogs that mist of been awful about your cycles when you first came off, how long did things take to regulate? I am on a minipill and having almost 2 week long periods with it for the past year.

I don't know alot about the coil, but i'm pretty sure it's the same as the pill so should go back to normal quite soon? I think the injection is the one that can take a long time for things to come back.
It will be so exciting when June/ July comes around. I find it hard not to think about it too much while waiting. 🙂

I came off the pill end of January 2022, so patiently waiting for my cycles to readjust and get back to normal, whatever that is! I had two bleeds in February, very strange - so really not sure when I am due to ovulate at the moment. Hoping I'll have more clarity next month...

That sounds good though because maybe one was the withdrawal and the next one was your real period so you could be back to normal cycles now and know more this month as you said, 🙂

@Sunnymummy3 I do hope so! I remember it taking about a month or two when coming off the pill a few years ago when TTC our first. It's such an exciting yet anxiety provoking time 🤣🤦🏽♀️

I came off it in September 2019 and conceived Feb 2020 and only had 2 periods in that time - the cycle before my positive was 68 days I think, then I got my bfp on day 42 of the next cycle... totally random and I felt so stressed not knowing where I was in a cycle or anything so I'm so pleased I seem regular this time coming off it 😊 will this be you trying for your first? 😊

Oh sorry @fancyfrogs , I must have misread, I can imagine that was stressful, I am glad you still managed to conceive though especially so soon 🙂 How are you tracking your ovulation if you don't mind me asking? I would like to try doing basal temp as well as opks for a couple of cycles to get a definite date of ov but I have never tried the temp before so interested if anyone else has and any tips.
This would be ttc number 3. Must be mad 😄

@Sunnymummy3 I just felt a bit blind with it all haha I hate not being in control 🤣 I'm not temping, just using OPKs. Seem to have got positives on those at the same point on the last 3 cycles so pretty happy with those for now anyway! I think I'm going to stop using them for a bit though or maybe every other month... don't want to get too fixated on it before we start TTC as I drove myself mad obsessing last time!
Ah how lovely! Not mad, I'd like 3 I think. (I say now... 😅)

Hi everyone, planning to TTC number 3 in July. So desperate to start now but just not practical for a few months. On all the supplements and have been off the pill for a few months just cycle tracking. Really need to start the healthy eating and cut out the coffee next 😭

@fancyfrogs I totally get you, I got a bit obsessed with the opks last time too but in a way it was nice to have something to focus on while waiting, I am going to get on google and read all about temping... something else to obsess over on the wait 😆 We have waited until now to have a little bit bigger gap between 2 and 3 so hoping it will be easier. What will your gap be roughly if you get a bfp soon?

@Sunnymummy3 the coffee is the hardest, Alcohol I can live without, healthy eating can be done, its the coffee i need in the mornings!!
My two are 16 months and 4 years. Both boys. House is chaos so why not add another!

I am hoping to conceive in May/June. I currently have a 20 month old boy who keeps me very busy but i think after a few months of eating healthy i will be ready to grow our family. Fingers crossed i do not get the nausea and sickness again for 9 months wishing everyone the best of luck!

Need to get around to having a birth debrief/reflections appointment from my first I think, before we start TTC. I will be high risk for another pregnancy so will be a different experience for me this time. Just keep putting it off though... but think it will help. Might make it my aim to give them a call before end of April

That is a good idea. I think i will do the same before i start ttc. I did not have a good birth experience with my first and ended up having an emergency C-section. Hoping for a more positive experience this time round. Looking forward to hearing some good news from everyone in this post in the next few months

Thank you! Yes the sickness was awful, hopefully we have nice smooth healthy pregnancies this time which we enjoy. I have a little 20 month old boy who i know will make an amazing big brother. Fingers crossed 2023 brings him a sibling
