@speake epu shuts at 12 everyday and the numbers for midwife's are 9-5. Will ring in the morning xx

@Skl2021 I know my friend managed to get a scan when she went with a similar issue but she was nearer 12 weeks...I'm so sorry. U might have to wait it out till tomorrow. Did midwife give u any emergency no's at all? X

@Skl2021 actually seeing @calimc83 post I went to a and e on a Saturday about 6 years ago because I kept fainting and had really bad stomach pains and it was about 8 in the night and first thing they did was a pregnancy test ( I knew I wasn't pregnant I was on birth control) the test was inconclusive they said so they took me for a ultrasound to check it wasn't an ectopic ( it wasn't I had appendicitis) but they did an ultrasound so maybe your local A and E would? Especially if you're in pain. Thinking of you 💕

@calimc83 thankfully she dropped it when she was running away from me 🤢🤢 & DH cleaned it up thank god. Poor DD was just standing in the bathroom with her knickers round her ankles wondering what the hell had just happened 🙈 AWFUL 😂

@Skl2021 oh my girl I can sense the panic in your messages. Deep breath. Let’s think of options available to you:

1. Go to A&E - may not be the best place to go but they could assist with an EPU referral for tomorrow.
2. Get a private scan booked in for tomorrow - I know it’s ££ but this is for your reassurance and peace of mind. When I’ve looked you can usually get appointments next day.
3. Call midwife in the morning - coming from experience I’m not sure how far you’ll get with this one. You could also be waiting around for them to contact you back.
4. Sit and wait - in my opinion the hardest one. You’ll be driving yourself crazy with anxiety.

Whatever you choose we’re here for you ♥️♥️♥️ xx

These conversations about kids and dogs are hilarious. My dog ate my son's poo from his potty a few weeks ago 🤢

I'm so sorry this is happening @Skl2021. I really hope it's not what you think it is, but I would absolutely get on the phone to your midwife tomorrow and demand to be seen. And if the pain/bleeding gets worse overnight call 111 xx

@aesgriff I'm just going to wait and see if I can get seen tomorrow. Don't want to sit in a+e on my own all night and don't want to get bad news on my own. Can't get private scans that quick earliest is next week. I'm trying to stay calm but Im also preparing for the worst xx

@Cruz86 this is exactly how it happened last time. Started with on off spotting and got scan where I seen the heartbeat but unfortunately baby died 2 weeks later. I hope it doesn't go on for weeks again 😥 x

@Skl2021 what’s the spotting like now? The same? I really hope you can get a scan tomorrow. I’m so sorry it’s happening xx

I'd be asking them to do more than a scan then @Skl2021, probably bloods and hormone checks too. I really really hope it stops soon ❤️❤️

Sending you loads of love @Skl2021 - so many people I know have bled through pregnancy and it has been fine so have everything crossed for you that all is ok. You are stronger than you think - just try and stay calm (I know it's easier said than done), breathe and really push for answers tomorrow xxxx

@Skl2021 im so sorry you're going through this, it's the uncertainty it's just awful. I don't really know what else to suggest, just sit tight. Phone the midwife first thing or EPU. If it gets any worse call 111. Thinking of u xx

@Bridgey8 have u had spotting this pregnancy? My head's mashed can't remember who went to epu for what xx
