@Ganesh2022 thank you! It would be 2 months old, same as my son was this time last year! How are you feeling?

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 22:57

@Cindy974 Clarifying...didn't mean conceiving after mc would mess anything up with bean (I've just done the same so I bloody hope not!! Also I assume it's like catching any first egg...bfeeding or after birth control or whatever), just that it would mean one is even less sure exactly when ovulation happened than usual!

Did anybody experience this after their miscarriage? I miscarried 27th Jan, had symptoms of ovulation around the 10th Feb and today I’ve got brown discharge. I don’t usually have this before my period and was wondering if it’s because of the blood loss from the miscarriage? I’m hoping my cycles quickly go back to normal as I want to keep ttc x

peachiekeen · 21/02/2022 23:29

@Passenger87 @Skl2021 @speake @arianasky thank you - I’m going to look in to them all :)

Wow this moves fast! 🤯 I wish everyone came up in different colours! I might need to keep a notebook. I’m sorry we’re all in this rather large boat but it’s such a weight lifted knowing there’s others you can talk to who get it. Grateful for this group 🥰

Tofu35 · 21/02/2022 23:34

Oh wow a new thread! We certainly love a chat (and a test!!). Finally got my solid smile yesterday when I had a prosecco based hangover, but needs must 😅

Did anyone see Chrissy teigan on Instagram last week? She's been very open about loss in pregnancy and was asking people to stop asking if she's pregnant when it's just IVF bloat. Your heart just goes out to people who are in the public eye and having to go through loss and starting TTC again!

Sassy144 · 22/02/2022 07:09

@Tofu35 yes I saw her post too, just so painful - I still can't believe people who straight out ask if you're pregnant, or when you're going to have a baby etc etc

speake · 22/02/2022 07:29

I hope you’re feeling better & more hopeful after a good nights sleep @Skl2021, @Ganesh2022, @aesgriff & @Cindy974 🌈🙏🏼🤍

Let us know how you get on with the midwife today too @skl2021, fingers crossed you have a better one than last time xx

Cindy974 · 22/02/2022 08:06

@Ganesh2022 thank you for your reassurance really appreciate it. And yeah she was happy with the scan, said congratulations and didn’t give me any cause for concern 🤷🏼‍♀️ Its just my head cause I knew when i got a first positive test. I know its so hard not to get sucked into test progression, what dpo are you and what tests are you using? Mine took a few days to really see a difference. Keeping everything crossed for you 🤞🏼💕

Cindy974 · 22/02/2022 08:07

@speake thank you lovely hope you’re okay today 💕💕

aesgriff · 22/02/2022 08:14

Morning all ♥️♥️♥️

Thank you @calimc83 @speake it’s all out of my control so I can only just try and stay positive xx

@Skl2021 hope your appointment goes ok this afternoon 🤞🏻 Xx

@HoneyLemon29

Hi everyone. I'm back after a few days with my OPK results so far. Sorry I haven't read or caught up with much of the thread so far but wishing everyone well 💜 I'm TTC with one Fallopian tube after an Ectopic rupture. My OPKs before this were really simple. Would get a high and then a very high peak of at least 2.0 the same day. But this time seems drawn out. Don't know if I've got a low peak. Or whether ovulation is failing, or whether it's just a slow riser this month 😮‍💨 what do you ladies think? 😬
This is how my OPKs looked! They would then go down to 0.28 etc after about 2 days xx
HoneyLemon29 · 22/02/2022 08:18

@aesgriff they can be frustrating can't they 🥴 normally my peaks are through the roof. Good luck with your scan on Friday 💜 just had a quick skim through the last thread x

bunnykins123 · 22/02/2022 08:44

@Skl2021 good luck today with the midwife! 💕

@Ganesh2022 @Cindy974 how are you both doing?

calimc83 · 22/02/2022 09:56

@Skl2021 Good luck today, thinking of you xx how are u feeling? Xx

Ganesh2022 · 22/02/2022 09:58

Good morning everyone, how are you? Welcome to any newcomers ❤️ @Tofu35 I saw her posts last year when she miscarried and so appreciated her openness about it. Agree, “are you pregnant” is such a rude question. Closely followed by “was it planned?” F off!!!
I’m ok today, no more spotting but obviously worried as with my miscarriage started with v light spotting :/

Ganesh2022 · 22/02/2022 10:01

Very cruel of nature that “perfectly normal in pregnancy” and “problematic” and “period signs” are often so, so close in how they manifest 😭

arianasky · 22/02/2022 10:04

@Ganesh2022 how are you feeling hopefully a bit better?

@Skl2021 how are you today? Hopefully felling a bit better and the midwife will sort a scan for you 🙏🏻 I've been thinking of you all night hoping all is good 💕

How is everyone else? Did another opk this morning and was lighter than yesterday so no O yet for me, I'm only CD9 so thought that was super early but I do still have a few symptoms so maybe I'm heading up to in the next few days 🤷🏻‍♀️

aesgriff · 22/02/2022 10:08

Please can someone come and take my phone away from me as I cannot stop googling!!!! Anxiety is high today too urghh!!!!!

Skl2021 · 22/02/2022 10:14

Thankyou everyone for the well wishes and support 💕 I'm super tired could sleep for a week 🙈 I think the stress and worrying is making it worse! I'm feeling a bit calmer today and no more spotting 🤞 hoping it stays like that! I'm not holding out much hope at the midwife probably say it's normal in early pregnancy like they all do 🤦 will obviously update after IV been.

@Ganesh2022 glad the spotting has stopped 🤞

Hope everyone is feeling ok! New day 💕✨ xx

HoneyLemon29 · 22/02/2022 10:24

@aesgriff Could I ask what you've seen that's worrying you? Then we can hopefully give you some reassurance x

arianasky · 22/02/2022 10:31

@aesgriff step away from Google!! Soo much easier said than done mind, are you ok? What is worrying you? 💕

@Skl2021 ah I'm so glad there's been no more spotting 💕

aesgriff · 22/02/2022 10:36

@HoneyLemon29 @arianasky ok so I can hear how neurotic I sound even typing this but worried it’s a blighted ovum?! I know I’m still very early but with my HCG levels being high something should be there 😩 xx

bunnykins123 · 22/02/2022 10:40

@Skl2021 @Ganesh2022 that's great that the spotting has stopped - keeping my fingers crossed for you both 🤞

@aesgriff oh no, don't do it 🙈 google is the best way to put you on edge as there is such a mixture of outcomes. The GPs always say 'don't google' (which is true but I'm terrible at following their advice). What have you seen that's making you nervous?

@arianasky it's funny you say that as my CD 9 test was darker than my others (albeit not quite as dark as yours). I had the same thing the last few months too so think it's totally normal. Do you track with CB monitor too?

Urgh those questions. I never know why people think it's OK to ask!

HoneyLemon29 · 22/02/2022 10:53

@aesgriff I thought you might be thinking that, but HCG varies differently for everybody and your levels are very high at such an early stage. Some woman don't even reach 1000 by 5 weeks and your at 4000+ before then aren't you?
Im trying to make sense the best I can but I'm crap at typing 😂😂
So a lady could have a value of 2000 at 5 and half weeks and the pregnancy is able to be seen.
Whereas a pregnancy could be at 2000 at 4 weeks but just can't be seen yet. Does that make sense?
Your levels may just be at a higher range but the baby sack is just a little bit too small to see. Everyday makes a difference with scans. One day there could be nothing and the next there could be something seen, the pregnancy grows so quickly 💜
I completely understand why you are worried though. But just remember levels of over 1500 aren't really expected to be seen until around the 5 weeks mark. Everyone's different x
Your levels have tripled in 3 days did you say? I would be thinking there's was more than one in there 😅 x

HoneyLemon29 · 22/02/2022 10:54

@aesgriff I really hope that makes sense. It did in my head but I'm not good at explaining things x
