I'm glad the op went well @89Hope , hopefully now they've removed some of the endometriosis that will improve your chances greatly 🙏

My OH had to go and collect a prescription yesterday after work so I tagged along and picked up some more pregnancy tests from Boots at the same time. Tested this morning with one of my old batch of tests plus one of the new Boots ones on the same urine sample. Both tests had faint second lines, although the Boots test (which was a less sensitive one) was slightly darker and came up faster, but it was still on the faint side. I'm slightly reassured but still worried the lines aren't darker at this stage and suspecting this could be a chemical pregnancy. I'll probably skip testing tomorrow and repeat it again Thursday on another Boots test as my hCG levels should have doubled by then if all is well, so the line should show some progression. I completely agree @StillTrying10000 - it's a thin line between experiencing heaven and hell! It's hard to allow yourself to feel excited whilst anticipating the worst again...

Last day of taking letrozole today, am on estrogen as well and couldn't stop needing the loo last night - was up 4 times! But convinced myself it's not going to work and stupidly googled and needing the toilet a lot at night is a sign of low estrogen 🙄 I guess time will tell, am having a scan on Monday.

My pregnancy test this morning was a fraction darker but still on the faint side. I got myself in a right state yesterday so I spoke to a GP and they squeezed me in for a hCG blood test yesterday afternoon. Hopefully the results will come through today and I'll repeat the blood test on Friday afternoon. It's going to be a long few days waiting but I need to know.

I hope you've had some line progression @StillTrying10000 ?

I'm glad your GP is supportive @Sezmarelda1 let us know your hcg result later. These early days are so hard, but I hope you get some reassurance today ❤️

Thanks everyone. I was so positive yesterday as I got a digital test to trigger which was a massive deal as I haven’t got this far in a looong time, but overnight my temp dropped a bit and I’m convinced the test is lighter today. I’m trying desperately to stay calm but am struggling. I did a Medicheck blood test yesterday so am waiting for those results and I’m going to get a blood test in london today to see if HCG is up or down. Eh!

Those lines are looking really encouraging @StillTrying10000, are you 7 days post transfer today? Let us know when you get your blood results back. I'm still waiting for mine, I must have checked the online portal for my results about 100 times already today 😬

@VenusStarr I have a follow up appt with Prof Quenby in mid June but my scans are being done at my local EPU as it's so much closer. I have a scan booked for 6th June, just hoping this one sticks and makes it that far 🙏

These are my 17dpo (top) and 19dpo (bottom) pics for comparison @StillTrying10000 . They've darkened a bit with time, within the 5 minute window I was meant to interpret them they were lighter. That may also explain the difference you can see between you test last night and this morning?

Still waiting for my results. This is the first time I've had a hCG blood test - how long do the results typically take to come back?

I'm sorry you're still waiting @Sezmarelda1 I've only had hcg bloods at my ivf clinic and they come back same day. Have you continued to test at home? These early days drag so much. I really hope you get reassurance soon ❤️

My GP has just sent me a text to say my hCG is 26, so not looking promising at all 😪

Thanks @VenusStarr , I was expecting the number to be low and in some sense I'm glad it's not in that really grey area where it could go either way. I know it's not completely clear cut at this stage and there's still a slim chance, but realistically I know it's very likely to end in MC. I've got to go for another hCG blood test this afternoon. I'm guessing I'll have to wait for the GP to give me the result again, which is likely to mean waiting until Monday morning. It's going to be a very long weekend...

High NK cells and Low LADS.

We are currently with CARE for IVF and we're wondering about going to Dr Gorgy for LIT.
Would CARE continue to see us if this was the case?

Would IVIG overcome the LAD issue as well as NK cells?

I can’t quite believe it but I’m made it to test day and I’m testing 2-3 positive on ClearBlue How many weeks which means my HCG is now above 150. My kidney function is slowly getting worse though so the clinic keeps saying they may need to take me off the Tacrolimus, but in my mind this drug is the only thing keeping my baby alive so i’m seriously anxious about that. I have to do bloods again on Wednesday where they will make a decision. This is all so terrifying but i’m so pleased that I feel there is hope again after thinking I had got to the end of my journey. Some very dark jokes in my family that no one else can have a baby for me but we have plenty of spare kidneys to go around.

That's brilliant news, congratulations 💕❤️ @StillTrying10000 it is worrying about your kidney function though. When will you see Dr S? Is it him or your ivf clinic who will decide? I completely understood anxiety about it.

I've not had my LADS tested, so don't know much about the treatment, has Dr G not explained it works?

@VenusStarr i briefly read a few months ago about a new drug you has looked into can you remember the name - I remember our stories being quite similar and we were both with Dr S. I left Dr S to give Argc a go and had ivf last year April which was a success but ended in a horrendous miscarraige :( it was so complicated and took almost 4 months to resolve. Since then we’ve looked into surrogacy (I understand some ppl don’t agree with it but it felt like our only option) again 2 more unsuccessful transfers there too. I feel like it’s not meant to be but at the same time don’t want to give up just yet.
Another option is LIT therapy with Dr Gorgy - anyone had an experience with him?

Hi @HoldingOn2Hope sorry to hear what you have been through. I hope you are fully recovered now or as much as you possibly can be. I have wondered about surrogacy but I think I would struggle with watching someone else go through ‘my pregnancy’ if you see what I mean. I think I’d be quite jealous. Do you mean you have already tried two rounds with a surrogate? I thought it would take a very long time to arrange a surrogacy. Sorry I don’t know what LIT is but I’m sure there will be someone here who will be able to help.

My second hCG has come back at 30, so a rise of just 4 in 48 hours 😭I've got to call the EPU later to see what they recommend doing but I have family visiting today so its not going to be easy to get away to make the call in private. Don't you just wish the ground would swallow you up sometimes!!

@HoldingOn2Hope so sorry to hear you have been going through such a shitty time. It really is such a rollercoaster. Sounds like you've had such a tough time. Glad it's resolved and you can start to move forwards. We thought about surrogacy but I think I read its illegal to pay someone in the UK, you would need to know someone (friend/family etc) who would volunteer to do it for you. But I might be wrong?!

@StillTrying10000 got my fingers tightly crossed for you. Take each day as it comes and try your best not to stress yourself too much x
