TTC BABY NO 2 first cycle

Hey girls,

Just reaching out to anyone who is on first cycle trying for baby no 2 to keep each other company on the journey. Just had my coil out a couple of weeks ago 🤞🏽🤞🏽 xx

Although I am confused, had bleeding on and off after 3 days. was like day 3-5 post coil out had a bleed, then nothing then days 7-9 bleed, nothing. Have no idea what this means for my cycle!

@OtiMama btw I am exactly the same 🤦🏽‍♀️ 2 days post removal I bled for 5 days then 3 days later I bled for 2 days and now nothing. Its a bit of a riot isn't it... i'm just doing bits in the hope maybe Im ovulating who knows 😊 xx

@TTCBABYNO2xx yeah I am just confused as I had a period as normal 2 weeks before it was taken out. So would have been ovulating around the time I was bleeding from the coil removal but does that mean I won't get my normal period, due around now I guess or will I be most fertile now instead!

I guess only time will tell 😆 I usually find it fairly obvious for discharge when I am fertile. I was very lucky first time round so we shall see. I don't feel as positive this time, which is a bad attitude to have I know!

@OtiMama i hear ya i feel the exact same i don't have a clue. I always know when i am ovulating too usually! I have a 19 month old too.. what age is yours? 🥰

Hello! Please can I join you both? Also trying for baby number 2 (well technically baby number 3 as DS2 died in NICU in December 2020 😔). First month TTC this month as was advised to wait a year and needed to feel strong again after that trauma. No advice on cycles returning after the coil but hopefully yours both regulate soon. I think I ovulated at the beginning of the week (not tracking this cycle as 'trying' to just be chilled about it all). We conceived DS1 and DS2 in second and first cycles so really hoping that we're fortunate again but time will tell.

Hey 👋🏻 I’m starting ttc my second next cycle. CD17 currently, so will hopefully my first testing date will be 26th March good luck all!

Aww thank you. It's certainly not been an easy time and our littlest boy is missed from our family every single day but finally beginning to feel a little bit hopeful about the future and what might be to come. Our DS1 is nearly 3 and a half so brings us lots of happiness and keeps us busy!

Hopefully we'll all have a second one to run around after soon!

We are trying to be relaxed about it too- last pregnancy concieved first cycle but was peeing on ovulation digital sticks so trying to not obsess over it 🤣 xx

Yes I have a 2 year old girl will be 3 before too long! It’s taken a while to decide whether to try for another but now we’ve made our minds up I feel so impatient! How old is your little one?

Hello ladies!

I'm 7 months postpartum and my doctor said we could start trying at 6 months postpartum. Well... We were not exactly trying so far, but didn't make an effort to prevent it either. Anyway, this is the first time I feel a little strange.

I feel just like i felt back when my first pregnancy started, if not a little more nauseous. My mom says that it could be just hormones changing or simply stress, but my husband keeps saying "baby No2? Baby no2?" And he's so cute, I really hope he gets his wish!

To be honest I kind of agree with my mom, though, but I will test on Monday (or during the weekend, if I get too curious )

A boy! It's weird because I was so scared of having a boy and now I'm wondering why! Boys are so cool! ...I really hope for a baby girl next time, though, I'd love to have one of each lol!

@Running365 sorry to hear about your son, what was his name? It must have been so hard for you both, I hope you conceive quickly again.

We also conceived my son first time, literally days after I came off the pill.

@MiaKay if you use the @ symbol and then the name immediately after to tag people. Wow 7 months postpartum, back then I was thinking omg I will never have another child anytime soon haha funny how things change. I love having a boy, would be happy to have another boy. Obviously would be equally happy for a girl next but I don't have a preference if asked.

@MiaKay ahh i can't imagine having a girl now after a boy i'd love to have another boy but of course would just be blessed with either or 🥰

Btw i also wondered the same thing maybe someone can shed some light i keep forgetting the convo so would be ideal to reply and see it at the same time 🤣🤦🏽‍♀️ xx

@OtiMama thank you! I got it now! Lol! I know it's pretty soon. Actually I have 8 years difference with my brother and I always felt like I was an only child, and he felt the same. Now we have completely different lives and whenever we meet it's like we're strangers, so I would love my children to be close together.

@TTCBABYNO2xx boys are great! They are so much fun! ... and here I thought they were all about guns and football. Now it seems so funny that I was ever scared of having one, but I blame my crazy nephews and their mothers who never lifted a finger to save me when their sons tortured me. Lol!

@MiaKay I totally get that. I think you just get on with it having them close together and at least they can all do similar things!

@MiaKay 🤣🤣 totally !! I am an only child and always would of loved a sibling plus my family is tiny so would love to have maybe 3 kids ... they say though when the second one arrives you soon change your mind on number 3 we shall see 🤣 xx

Getting so impatient too, have to wait until atleast next weekend to test I think. I hate this waiting and had forgotten how consuming it can be. Keep also feeling like I'm cramping too but probably just my imagination. Good luck with testing this weekend @MiaKay if you do!

I also love having a boy. It'll be more than 4 year age gap for us now but will just feel so blessed if it happens and all works out ok this time, and there's nothing we can do to change it now.
