TTC BABY NO 2 first cycle

Just reaching out to anyone who is on first cycle trying for baby no 2 to keep each other company on the journey. Just had my coil out a couple of weeks ago 🤞🏽🤞🏽 xx

@PinkButtercups my friend has just got pregnant without her period returning after her first baby! So seems so!

May I join too. TTC No. 2 and on second cycle, currently 9 dpo.

Have a 9mo and ideally would have wanted a slightly longer age gap but as we had 4 MC including a 2nd trimester MC we have decided not to wait. Mainly due to our age (35 and DH is 39) if we have difficulty again we dont want to have left it too late.

I am ttc number 2. Have a 4 year old DD, soon to be 5. Much larger age gap than planned but had endometriosis surgery a few months ago so hoping for success now. Only managed to DTD once last cycle but was still devastating when AF arrived. Now on CD5 and waiting for ovulation. Hoping for success this month. Been taking coq10 for about a year and had a scan recently showing a good number of follicles for my age. I’m looking at this like starting fresh so this will be cycle 3 post surgery! All in all been trying for 12 months but the surgeon told me it would never have been possible pre surgery. I am a bit of a planner and end up hyper focusing on things, will be trying to resist the temptation to test too early. Just can’t wait to see two lines… if it happens!

@OtiMama snap i feel like we are legit clones here... i wondered the same thing i'd think so because no period means we aren't ovulating or are we ? X

@OtiMama also same situ last pregnancy pregnant straight away after pill no period so must happen 😂

Welcome ladies who have just joined.. how are you all doing?? Can you tell i'm just getting pissed off waiting on a period to start 😂 coil came out 1st feb but no period yet and not pregnant so annoying just want to track!!

Currently trying (very) hard not to test tomorrow morning at 10 dpo. Any advice on how to stay away from the sticks?

I'm currently on cycle day 30 I tested two days ago and it said not pregnant not surprised tbh, I have pcos and really irregular cycles I haven't used ovulation sticks this cycle stupidly so I might not have even ovulated yet, sometimes my cycles are like 100+ days so who knows where I'm at 🙈

@TTCBABYNO2xx it’s so frustrating waiting for it to start isn’t it! For some reason if I DTD near to AF it seems to bring it on lol.

@Bubblegum20 I had pcos dating back to scans when I was 16 and had it shown on so many since then (am now 34). However my last scan a month ago showed no polycystic ovaries! I can only put it down to taking coq10 for the past year. Could be worth a try x

Caved and got a BFN this morning at 10 dpo. Now not feeling too confident. Think cervix has also moved lower so just waiting for AF now

@fluffybunny86 sorry it was negative. I have given up testing now as I was just getting through some every couple of days!

@TTCBABYNO2xx are you having any cramps or anything? I keep having them on and off. Still nothing here! So weird we've had exactly the same experience with our first child and now!

@OtiMama AF arrived today i never thought i'd be so buzzing about it 😂 at least now i can track properly but wow its back with vengeance 🤦🏽‍♀️

Hope yours comes soon lovely- i was starting to think there was something wrong!! ive had cramps and even convinced myself i was pregnant at one point and spent over £100 on FRERS fml 😳 xx

@TTCBABYNO2xx I am so pleased for you, God that sounds weird saying that haha. Got my fingers crossed for you. hopefully I am not far behind then! I have also got through way too many tests, I kept saying I won't bother now then would!

@TTCBABYNO2xx so glad AF showed for you!! Are you going to give it another go this month? I'm in two minds about a December baby! My AF was absolutely awful this month and over a week late :(

@TTCBABYNO2xx Glad you have finally started a cycle at Day 1. Least you know where you are now.

AF arrived this morning as I thought it might. Maybe we could be cycle buddies?

My app is saying AF due in 2 days, will be so funny if it does come as it means I basically skipped a month!

@OtiMama how weird! Have you ever skipped an AF before?

@sherbetmelon nope. Had them regularly since my son was 6 months old when I had my coil fitted. I presume its a reaction to having my coil out.

@OtiMama bizarre isn't it. I also think the Covid vaccine may have something to do with it. In-between coming off contraception and getting my first AF I had my booster jab. Could be completely unrelated but I know there's lots of talk of it messing up cycles x

@sherbetmelon It is really confusing though because they say its showing evidence it messes cycles but doesn't seem to affect pregnancy chances. Seems odd to me.

This is the quickest I've ever been on one of these topics, I'm so surprised and pleased as it took over a year last time! But I've got a positive on a clear blue digital! Good luck everyone🤞🏼 hope you all get your positives soon 👶🏻
