TTC with one Fallopian tube

Anyone here TTC after Ectopic surgery or with one Fallopian tube due to medical reasons that want to support each other? Or if anyone has any successful stories conceiving with one tube welcome to bring positivity to the post x

@HoneyLemon29 they said progesterone was high so that was good but the hcg quite low, as they predicted. I am booked for another scan on Tuesday morning. Hopefully they will be able to see something then. I haven't told anyone, just trying to get on with everything as normal - not letting myself think or be happy yet.
How are you feeling? Will you be starting the 2 week wait now x

Yes my apps predicting me at 2DPO with my temp now on the rise and LH dropping back down. I had a really emotional day yesterday thinking "have I done the right thing"
Just feeling a bit anxious now the deeds done knowing there could be a fertilised egg going through the tube 🥺😰 x

Emotional days are the worse. Sending you lots of love. I know this stage is where you feel a bit helpless and cant help but wonder did you do it enough, did you get the timing right, is there going to be another months wait for another cycle etc. I know exactly what you mean... Maybe try and keep yourself occupied and do things that feels good? Sounds a bit of a cliché maybe imagine your fertilised egg travelling down your tube? Imagine yourself holding your positive pregnancy test in your hand... I don't know whether I am clutching at straws lol but I keep visualising the scan where they tell me and hubby everything is fine and crying from happiness.
I have heard so many happy stories around me in the last couple of weeks I honestly have a good feeling about you too! Message the group whenever you feel anxious and or want someone talk to. xx

@NewtoTTC87 thank you for your message the other day. You're right about trusting my body, and also what you just wrote about doing all you can, so just allowing things to happen and not worry - very true. I'm going to try this this cycle.

Sorry to hear you are having to wait again - it's just the worst. Honestly in an ideal world I would like to find out when I'm about 8 weeks plus, so I don't have to have the waiting.
Hcg being low isn't really a good indicator without a comparison after a couple of days. Everyone is so different, so try not to worry about that.

You also hugely reassured me about it being your opposite ovary. This group is full of such positive stories.
I am keeping everything crossed yours will continue to be one of them ❤️❤️

Thank you for your kind words. I know I'll end up testing early next Thursday. I'm still skeptical about my low LH surge but everything else seems to indicate it's happened? I'm actually ordering a progesterone Medicheck kit at the weekend to make sure my progesterone levels aren't low. So I can be prepared if a pregnancy test turns positive. Here's my chart so far. As for ovulation pain I was getting pain that required painkillers on the right side (side with a tube) on the day my LH surged. But since then I've been getting mild pains going from left to right and cramping ever since. Sore ish boobs and a breakout of spots so there's another sign progesterone is on the rise.
DTD everyday day for a week up until 1DPO 🙈 so we shall wait and see 😅

Ah yes, wouldn't that be a perfect situation. Everything so straight forward. Rather then agonisingly waiting and counting the minutes... Having said that, I am trying to take my own advise and keep busy. I feel ok. My cramping has calmed now, feeling a bit nauseous. Trying to think there are bigger things going in the world right now..

Considering I was negative on a test on Saturday 19th (11dpo) and on Sunday 20th (12dpo) my first positive. I guess normal for the hcg to be very low on Monday, (13dpo) what do you think? I do know what you mean though they don't have anything to compare it to so will not know how quickly its rising.

honeylemon did ask this too - where are you in your cycle?

@NewtoTTC87 when I've had my levels tested before, they've never told me the first number, only the numbers when they have both to compare. And I would say the timing of your positive suggests later implantation so I think you'd definitely expect the number to be lower. Are you having bloods done again or just your appointment on Tuesday?

@NewtoTTC87 and @HoneyLemon29 I am day 13 today. When I went on Monday I had one follicle of ovulation size, and then a couple a little behind. So I am taking my trigger shot on Monday, and there's a chance the big one might ovulate on its own. I haven't really been tracking to know. I did an OPK on Sunday, didn't take a picture but it was quite dark - wouldn't say peak. I've done one a day since and they haven't been as dark as that. So I have no idea if I was about to ovulate on Monday or if I just haven't. But I'll take actual ovulation as when I take my trigger shot. It's a bit confusing this month!

@HoneyLemon29 is the blue line temp and pink line Lh? I think it looks like you did ovulate, and you've definitely had enough action to give yourself a good chance!

5-7dpo today. Not really having any symptoms at all after having lots of pelvic discomfort a few days ago. Breast tenderness seems to have settled. Hopefully this is good as always have super sore boobs when not pregnanct

@myrainbowjourney yep the blue line is temp. My app has actually given me a coverline today so that means it's recognising ovulation happened. Temps below the horizontal line is pre ovulation temps and anything above means after ovulation temps 🤞 So I'm deffo 3DPO today. I really hope we all get healthy pregnancies very very soon. I've heard of these trigger shots of HCG bringing on ovulation, are you having any tests done that'll confirm ovulation?

@NewtoTTC87 3DPO and all I have is (TMI) so much going on downstairs if that makes sense 😷 hoping it's a good sign progesterone is rising enough to support a possible pregnancy x

So I went to a lovel GP / gyn today talking about a hycopsy. She told me that she thinks if we start doing this, we can do all the tests instead of just this. All the blood tests, hormone tests, semen analysis etc. Excited (I think). Did any of you do that?

I noticed when I went to the toilet this afternoon lotion like white cm. I’m sure I don’t normally get that in TWW.. will sift back through my apps and look at what was going on when I got pregnant with DS2

Hope you don't mind me joining. I'm TTC after a ruptured tube from an ectopic pregnancy in November. My period has just arrived this month so hoping next month will be more fruitful...but I'm still testing every other day as when I had the ectopic previously I had what I thought was a period when I was pregnant, I'm so paranoid it will happen again. Plus my cycles have been all over the place so really hope they will settle down so I can track things and have a bit more reassurance. Anyway, wishing everyone lots of luck, will be nice to have support of people going through the same! X

I had my lap on Monday and went in prepared to lose the tubes as my hsg suggested blockages , however when I woke up the consultant said both tubes were infact open, no hydrosalphinx but slight beading on one tube

Although good news I still have both tubes, slightly back to square one now as unsure why we aren't getting pregnant after 2 years (I'm 27) however perhaps the tubes unblocked on their own in the 6 month since the hsg..

I lost a tube to an ectopic pregnancy. Once we started ttc again it only took 3 months. Early scan showed I'd ovulate from the side with the missing tube, and the egg had found it's way regardless.

@Bundaberg84 good news your doctor can do the full works 💜 I haven't any tests done but i am ordering my progesterone blood test for Tuesday as I am worried about a progesterone issue in the luteal phase.

@s154 that's good news you still have tubes. Did the consultant mention anything at all about tubes unblocking? I've heard stories of people having blocked tubes and not convincing and then conceiving months later and saying they must've opened again 💜

Not much to update from me. 5DPO. I had a panic yesterday as I had a 2 day decrease in BBT and spotting after DTD. The spotting was only at that time and nothing overnight and nothing today with the BBT rising again 😮‍💨

I’m 7-9dpo today. Not had anymore lotion cm, boobs are quite sensitive which isn’t unusual. Other than that nothing. Felt nauseous yesterday briefly and have been more headachey this week. Otherwise all quiet.

@HoneyLemon29 I did a cheapie today for shits and giggles. It just gets the POAS addiction out of my system. But otherwise not sure. Tomorrow would be 8-10dpo. I might wait until Wednesday which would be minimum 10dpo.

@Mummyme87 funny you should say that, so did I 🤯 at 5DPO I just had to get rid of the urge 🥴 x

I’m not sure what I’ll do test brand wise. Get such bad indents on FRER it gets my hopes up every month

It is tricky to decide. I know they're expensive but the clearblue digital ultra early have always gone "pregnant" for me after receiving such a faint positive on FR picking up HCG levels of 10 x

Hi, thanks for your reply. I've bought some LH strips so plan on using them to try to get an idea of when I'm ovulating this month. My last cycle was 26 days but the one before that was only 20 so who knows.
It is really good to hear positive stories on hear too, gives me hope!

Had quite thick cm this evening, like EWCM but cloudy white. Not sure if that means mich
