Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

My AF turned up this evening right on time. I got excited as it didn’t appear all day and didn’t feel like it was going to. Ah well, better luck next month and better to get it out of the way for a new cycle

@Annapolis35 sorry to hear that. Even when it's expected it's hard.

I'm still waiting but I really feel it is on its way. I'm grouchy, tired, boobs kill, and I've swelled up like a balloon.

So AF arrived last night as expected, CD29. Spent last night awake with awful cramps, despite taking all the pain killers.. what a joy!😂 So tired now.

How is everyone else doing?

Aw sorry to hear that @pinkpirlie hope you’re alright. Mine arrived too on Thursday and it’s towards the end now thankfully. I had a wee wobble earlier with a pregnancy announcement and cried my eyes out, it all seems so unfair after the mc. Got to stay positive though and keep trying

hello, hope it's ok to join! I did a test on yesterday (11dpo) and got a BFN but today at 12dpo I think I've just had some implantation bleeding. when I wiped there was some sticky mucus stuff with a tinge of blood through it and then when I wiped again it's gone. AF is due on Tuesday so trying to hold off till then at least but hoping this is my month 🤞 I've also had some cramp type pains in my lower stomach every so often the past few days and been very emotional as well - I burst into tears at work on Friday over nothing and then again last night over a TikTok

hoping these are good signs x

I'm 9dpo today, had a BFN yesterday but obviously know it's super early (I only did one as it was my anniversary and thought how amazing if it was positive!) Going to test again Friday I think... AF due Sunday/Monday

@H1994 @Annapolis35 got a BFN last night but still no AF yet - due today. I have some weird stomach pains but not quite like cramp, although I imagine if I was going to get a positive it would've happened by now

How are all you doing? I’m on cycle day 13 now and gearing up to ovulate within next week or so. All well here and been a bit more go with the flow this month

Hey everyone, I am doing good, just finished AF so I am CD 5 today. Ovulation likely to be end of next week sometime so just waiting for that now. My husband has got his sperm analysis next Tuesday so glad that hasn't fallen on Ovulation when he has to abstain for few days. Will be good to see what the results come back for it and if they are all ok we can try and relax a bit for a few months before I will try and get some more tests done. How are you doing?

Hi @Shaker21 i hope the sperm test went okay. I got a peak today on day 18 so we will dtd over next few days to try and catch it. Been pretty chill this month about it! Have a let it be attitude which is nice, and makes a change. I’ve been doing more yoga in my exercise routine and some meditation and it’s helped to have a better frame of mind

Somehow I stopped getting notifications of new messages again so sorry for the silence.
How is everyone doing?

I'm CD 16 today.
I have tried to remember to temp and do Opks to see what's happening, but I'm very forgetful as I haven't got in a habit. I did get some sort of line yetsrday and the day before but I've never managed to get a peak on one, but with my cycle c29 days I'm guessing I will have ovulated by now. Managed DTD quite regularly the last week so keeping fingers crossed. Will DTD one more time just in case.

@Annapolis35 glad you're feeling more grounded and calm in your journey. Let's hope this is the month.

@Shaker21 hope the SA goes well. How long have you been TTC?
It's so hard isn't it, all the not knowing.

@chillybandits did AF show after your BFN? It's so heartbreaking every month, like getting kicked when you're down that not only are you not pregnant, but you have to suffer through the joys of period too.

I've had two pregnancy announcements in my friendship group in the last week. I'm super happy for them, but there is just that niggle of "why not us?".

I am CD11 today so glad that my husbands SA is tomorrow and shouldn't interfere with our fertile window this month which I was originally thinking it would. I am thinking I will ovulate this weekend or by this weekend potentially. We are just going to try more relaxed this month and just every other day BD. I think I am kind of writing this month off a bit because of the SA and waiting for the results so depending on what they come back will then determine how I feel for the rest of the month I guess so shall wait and see. Don't really know how long to expect to wait for the results, I have heard they obviously do the tests straight away but suppose its all different on how quickly the results actually get to your doctors and stuff. We have been trying nearly a year @pinkpirlie but this is our 9th cycle.

I hope the SA test went okay and that you get the results soon @Shaker21. it’s a lot to consider and take in when ttc as well. Did they give any indication of when the results may come back? every other day sounds like it will cover all bases.

@pinkpirlie i turned off the notifications so just check in every now and then to see what’s going on. It sounds like you’ve dtd quite a bit so I have fingers crossed.

I am currently on day 21. I got a peak on Sunday so prob ovulated on Monday, so guess about 2dpo now. Nothing going on with me, we managed to dtd every day from Friday to Monday and we were going to try last night as “one last shot” but were too tired to. I guess if I ovulated on day 19 I will have a 30 day cycle and my AF will be due next Friday—every month my cycle has varied! Also just anecdotally my husband told me he knew I was pregnant the first time as I smelt different, he said I smelt like bubblegum. So weird huh

We DTD 12, 14 and 16 so covered over the fertile period.
We were meant to DTD yesterday (18) as well for luck, but too tired also although think it would have been too late anyway. My temps are up the last two days so I think I have already ovulated. My boobs started hurting yesterday evening which is another sign I have already ovulated I suppose.
The month I had the CP we DTD 14, 16 and 19, so everything crossed we have hit similar days this month.

@Shaker21 any news on the SA? I'm trying to recall timescales for my partner, but it was over a year ago now so fuzzy. I vaguely remember he had to prompt them after a while though. Hope you get good news from them.

I still haven't heard back from the fertility doctor since I saw him in December, but I am also still 14kg too heavy for IVF and now only 10 months until I am too old for the NHS. Really need to sort out losing weight and doing more exercise as well.

So i am currently CD14 today. I have decided to track ovulation this month so been doing ovulation tests just so we can make sure we BD on ovulation day, also doing BBT to confirm ovulation also. I am thinking I should get peak today or tomorrow going off of previous cycle lengths roughly. Haven't heard anything yet for the SA results however my husbands NHS GP app had updated at 4.30pm yesterday that his doctor had received his results so he phoned earlier and the receptionist told him to call back after 2pm. I haven't heard anything yet so hoping he should get some news on them this afternoon which will be great to be able to finally stop having it on my mind!

Glad you have ovulated @pinkpirlie and @Annapolis35 and are both in your TWW. When is AF due? How you feeling?

Hope you get some answers today - good or bad, at least you know where you stand with it.

I'm CD 20 today. AF usually arrives CD29 (so 28 day cycles) but sometimes can be a day or two later. So another week and a few days to go. Will be on holiday visiting friends from next Thursday (CD27) so will take tests with me just in case AF doesn't show (along with my stash of period pants for the inevitable).

I'm also really annoyed at myself as I forgot about not taking ibruprofen during 2WW, and took two yesterday after the dentist. I only found out that you're not meant to take it last month and now I'm worried that could have been impacting the past two years as I always take it in the lead up to my period due to the pains I get.

@Shaker21 i hope you hear soon and it’s reassuring news, it’s good to tick these things off even if they are nerve racking. I find tracking ovulation sort of helps in that I know I’ve done everything I can.

@pinkpirlie i had no idea about the ibruprofen thing, I didn’t know that could impact at all! I am sure that any impact is negligible so I wouldn’t worry too much. I find the advice online so confusing. I read that exercising too vigorously during the 2ww is also not good but then also read that you should exercise. I have since just decided to carry on as normal though I tone it down a bit but it just helps with my mind frame generally. And loads of women don’t find out they’re pregnant until 6 weeks or so and have been drinking and smoking so I figure there’s no point worrying too much.

I am due on around the same time as @pinkpirlie but next Friday. Guessing 3dpo and just feel the same as normal but it would be too early to tell anyway

Hi ladies, hope you’re all doing okay. I’m 8dpo here and been sick all weekend with a viral vomiting infection and fully expecting AF to arrive on the weekend. I’ve got sore breasts and that usual heavy feeling down there. How are you all doing?

Hi girls...I had peak OPK yesterday afternoon so was expecting ovulation today however woke up this morning with my temperature higher so I must have ovulated late last night or overnight so think I am classing myself as 1DPO today so done all we can for another month now, just into the TWW again. We got my husbands SA results on Friday afternoon also and they was all ok which is great news. So not much we can do at the moment. Shall see what comes of the next couple of months.

Sorry you have been unwell over the weekend @Annapolis35 what DPO does AF normally arrive? I am keeping fingers crossed that it doesn't arrive.

@Shaker21 I am glad to hear the SA results were good, that must be a relief. That’s a good way of looking at it: “done everything we can”, you can rest easy. My AF usually arrives on day 12, so it should be here by Saturday so not too long to go. I’ve been so wiped out all weekend and ended up taking today off work to rest, but I’ll take it easy and watch films and have a nice bath

Sorry to hear you have been poorly.
Not necessarily wipe off the month just yet, I had the CP the month I had severe sickness so there is a chance of conception.

I'm feeling usual PMS, but I had that the month I had the CP too. I'm due on Saturday too, but I'm going to the spa tomorrow so I'm going to test using an FRER just in case so I can take a few more precautions. I figure it's close enough to potentially get a line if I am.
My heart says this isn't our month though.

@Shaker21 must be a relief to know the SA is normal. So just a matter of time.
We had the same results when my partner had his done.

I think I need to have full bloods done to see if there is anything else affecting things, or just find a good multivitamin as I am vegetarian so I am prone to poorer blood results.

Got the number for the fertility doctor now so I will follow up when I'm back from my holiday as it's been 9 months now since I saw him.
