[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

@Amyhal13 so I’ve just started using these first time this month as I couldn’t cope with more line analysing haha! So I think initially it will always be blank then the flashing smiley will come and I’ve started to dtd every other day from my flashing smiley starting then when it detects the LH surge the static smiley should come so I’m going to dtd every day for about 3 days when that comes and hope it’s enough!! They’re quite cute and a novelty for me atm although I can see flashing smiley may annoy me if he’s around for a while haha! You only test with FMU and no need to test later in the day according to instructions so I’m following that!

@smiles39 that made me laugh because it’s me to a tee! So relaxed during AF as it was out of my hands!! Then now was fine until we started dtd and now I’m all like we better not miss a day and I hope this is the month kind of crazy! I can already feel my mind thinking about when to test!

@D0nd361u welcome back! Glad AF finally showed!! So you know where you are! Yeah we’ve all fallen a bit out of sync but I think we should stick together for this next round! I want to see everyone through to getting BFPs now!!!

@bluemilan welcome!! Hopefully you’ve done it! One of the BFPs from this groups last tww had hardly managed to dtd and still got her BfP so hopefully yours will be more than enough!!

@ANP2020 thanks for your response I do have a pack of cheap ones left so If I feel the urge to test in the evening I can always use one of them, after all they are expensive so don't want to waste them. I'll see how I get on with it I guess. Only on cycle day 4 today

@Amyhal13 think it says on instructions you can up the testing on clearblue to twice a day after the flashing smiley to try and catch LH peak sooner. My plan is to use cheapies twice a day and clearblue just in the morning. So I can look at both side by side. I’ve currently got very low LH on cheapies and flashing smiley on clearblue.

@smiles39 that's what I'm thinking of doing then if one my my evening Lh strips are looking positive I'll do the clearblue one again to try not miss it on that either.
So glad I've found this chat with people in the same situation going through the same thing! Makes me feel less crazy lol and some where to go if I need advice or just to speak to like minded people 👍🏼

Static smiley 😃 here comes the dreaded 2 week wait.

If anyone else has done clearblue and cheapie OPKs at the same time… I have got peak on clear blue but low still on cheapies. It has gone darker on the cheapies but not as dark as control line. Is this normal?

I will keep testing with cheap OPKs to see if it ‘peaks’ in next day or so 🤷🏼‍♀️

@smiles39 wahoooo!! That’s great! I’m still on a flashing smiley here! Think that seems like a good plan to keep going with the cheapies I’m sure they’ll just catch up! U less you just hit the CB perfectly on time it’s only a short window to catch the surge isn’t it?

i feel like that too haha we can at least all obsess together! Had a few cramps today so these must be my body prepping to ovulate hopefully! X

So just a little update from me, we’re still on flashing smileys! Still dtd every other day, but my app says I should have ovulated by now!! So I think I likely totally missed ovulation last month 🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

@ANP2020 I ended up peaking on the cheapies the day after so my I have different ovulation days depending on which app I look at. So either 1 or 2DPO today 😬 I thought I might have missed ovulation last month too haha. Got the static smiley yet? I’m already working out when to take my first test even though I said I would wait til AF this month 🤦🏼‍♀️

Got my first flashing smiley today!! Here we go... hopefully won't be long until I get my static.

@smiles39 that’s great eeek the 2WW begins for you!! Haha I don’t blame you now your in the 2WW it feels so long!! I’ll be right behind you with that! What day do u reckon you can test!
Nope that things still blummin flashing at me! Day 8 of flashing now! I’ve got loads of ewcm that started yesterday though so I’m running with that at least so going to planning in DTD today… although who knows when between running my little one to classes and parties haha!

I’m running the danger of a short luteal phase if I don’t ovulate soon though! I have short cycles now it seems and I’m due AF on the 19th

@ANP2020 I reckon I could test from Monday 14th onwards, but OH is convincing me to wait til day after AF. I don't know how long I will be able to hold off, but I do want to try and enjoy each day as it comes without spending every moment thinking about being pregnant. Easier said than done My AF is due 19th too!!

@smiles39 oh gosh one day after AF now that’s pushing it! Haha totally wish I had the power to do that!

So ladies!!! Static smiley today wahoo!! Which is cycle day 15 for me on a short 25day cycle! So just enough of a luteal phase!! But meant I was way off last month as my app told me my window was cycle day 8-11 or something so way off!

Unfortunately we did dtd last night as we were too tired! But did the day before! So now my static is here what does that mean? Does this count as ovulation day? So am I 1dpo tomorrow? Do I need to try and dtd today and tomorrow just incase! I’m guessing it’s just noticing the surge so the egg might not be released till later today?
Also as I’ve ovulated so late in the cycle no point me early testing as I’m due AF on 19th (to my dissapointment as I’d only be 7dpo 5 days before AF so I actually might have to wait!!!)

@ANP2020 yay for static smiley! I think you would say tomorrow is ovulation day. I would DTD today and tomorrow. Maybe you can help me not test early if you aren’t able to. Don’t know if I’ll be able to hold out 😬

@ANP2020 how exciting!! I'm on 3rd day of flashing smiley today. We dtd on Sunday but we were both too tired last night. Hopefully we won't be tonight ha I'm thinking my static smiley should be on the way, I've had some egg white cm since Sunday and yesterday had a few twinges Around my ovaries. I do usually ovulate beetween CD 11-15 but will see.

@smiles39 I’m thinking I won’t be able to wait fully till AF due so I’m going to maybe test 17th I’ll be 8dpo then! Can you wait it out till then 🤣🤣

@Amyhal13 all looking good!! Sounds like it should be here in the next few days then we’ll all be back 2WWaiting and analysing every twinge!!

@ANP2020 I'm going to really try this month not to analyse everything and I'm definitely not going to test unless AF is late. I have my driving test at the end of this month so that should take my mind off it hopefully. ( not saying I will definitely stick to this but I really want to try) cost a fortune constantly testing and it's just disappointing seeing so many negatives.

@Amyhal13 I know it costs a fortune plus the clearblue digital ovulation things aren’t cheap either!
Ahhh I hope we can manage it! To be honest I feel a bit more chill about it this month (says me before the 2WW has started) I just feel like the testing and getting the BFNs was so disheartening I feel like this time I won’t get my hopes up as much!

@ANP2020 I'm feeling so nervous about it to be honest I've done it 3 times before but years ago when I was younger I'm 30 now and it's like a big thing I really want to achieve to give me the freedom especially for when we have a baby. I feel more relaxed this month too I think the clear blue ovulation test is helping because I actually can read it clearly rather than just not being sure with the cheap ones and over analysing them. I feel the same about not getting my hopes up either. I'm trying to look forward to other things in life and not just focus on being pregnant. But it is really hard Isn't it. Since I've been in this chat I feel better too I can get stuff of my chest rather than holding it all in my head! 😊

So I'm CD 12 still flashing smiley and my cheapies are still negative hoping I'll ovulate in the next few days as I usually do. 🤞🏼

Quick question ladies so I had ewcm on CD 9 not loads but definitely there. I've been testing ovulation since and just getting flashing smiley. My egg white mucus has changed it's now really watery with a white twinge to it I feel really wet. I'm CD 12 today. Has anyone else has this before ovulation? I usually ovulate anyone between now and cycle day 17 latest.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing if your both up for it won’t harm to dtd once more! In the sperm meets egg plan they suggest three days from peak OPK so that’s what we’re going to do if we can 🤞

@Amyhal13 so this month I noticed I definitely had a lot of watery clear discharge leading up to my static! It wasn’t stretchy and when I put that in my Ovia tracker it said that it was all pointing towards body gearing up for ovulation, so I’d say it’s a good thing. I have had the odd day of ewcm and then it disappear only to reappear in strong force later on so I’d say you’ve not yet ovulated I don’t think you’ve missed it x
