[ANP2020]

Hello ladies!

I’ve been reading these threads (at all hours clearly!) I just wondered if anyone was currently in their 2WW and wanted to join me? It’s so long!! I’m ttc number 2, have a 4 year old son, fell first time with him luckily so certainly not expecting the same this time round. This is our first cycle. I’m only using an app not any ovulation sticks so not sure how many days po I am, but According to app fertile window ended yesterday. AF due 21st I only have 24/25 day cycles since coming off my pill.

Anywhoo no symptoms yet as too early! I’ve had ovulation cramps and a few nights of very intense dreams. I think the only symptoms I can remember pre bfp with my son was really really sore boobs, couldn’t bare a bra on!! And really tired.

Please people join me to symptom spot and keep each other company during the 2WW.

@ANP2020 thanks for your reply that's made me feel better to be honest I feel like it's definitely on the way. I just want it to come now so I can stop stressing about it 🙈 already becoming crazy 2ww lady before it's even begun. Also another quick question when do you use the clear blue advanced? First morning urine like it says or a different time of the day?

@Amyhal13 I used ClearBlue with FMU, but as it got closer to ovulation I did it in the afternoon too.

5dpo today, handling the 2WW better than last month. But I was so positive and optimistic during ovulation, now I’m starting to worry and doubt whether it’s happening. I know I can’t change anything now but I want this so badly. My OH had his 2 kids instantaneously with his ex wife, so the longer this goes on the more inadequate I feel. Everyday spent looking after someone else’s children is a reminder of what I don’t have yet ☹️

So I'm super excited today I got my static smiley 😊 CD13!!

Update just got a strong positive on a cheapie ovulation test too just wanted to confirm what my clear blue had said this morning 😊 time to get baby dancing I guess then I'll be joining you all the in the 2ww.

So I’m officially 1-2 DPO! And in the spirit of symptom spotting! I shall start with how
Im feeling! I know it’s too early so it’s all completely Nothing to do with anything pregnancy wise but hey ho haha! So I have been feeling bloated and abdo cramps today but more like when you have trapped gas! But I don’t sluggish I guess you could say. Other than that another day down. I feel weird about this time round a lot calmer and more rational but can’t shake the feelings that it’s not going to happen again so im almost stopping getting my hopes up!! I actually don’t think i can cope with the emotions of looking at a blank stark white test again! That’s the worst bit!

@smiles39 it’s the emotional rollercoaster all over again isnt it! I’m glad your feeling calmer about it all but having those added emotions with your step children every day must be so hard! 🤞🤞🤞 this month is your month!

@Amyhal13 I use FMU with the clearblue but who cares now because u have your static Wahoo!! Enjoy your next few days!! 😉😉

How's everyone getting on? Saw this still going on the forum.
I started taking soy isoflavones this month and for the first time ever I have actually got a strong-ish line on an OPK today.
So I'm expecting to ovulate in the next day or so. I'm really hoping BBT will rise and stay high this month and it won't be another 36 day cycle with a failed ovulation.
First time DTD this cycle today, as partner has been working away. So lucky he was back today.
Hopefully caught ovulation in time.

Did we have any positives yet on the thread that I've missed?

@pinkpirlie welcome back!! OPK looking good certainly looks like ovulation is around the corner!! That’s great news partner was back at the right time!

Don’t think we’ve had any new positives we’re all just at different stages in our 2WW so no one got to testing yet!

I was tempted to have one last BD today just for good measure incase if ovulated a teeny bit late but we’re all too knackered haha so that’s all my trying for another cycle now we just wait…As I’ve shorter cycles I’ll be testing next Thursday if I choose to test early I’ll see how I feel.

So today just feeling a bit knackered (still too early for symptoms) so likely because I just didn’t sleep too well and I’m supposed to be doing an essay!

So tonight we’re off to collect 2 baby Guinea pigs! I’m the most excited it seems although my 4 year old is not far behind! Haha do u guys think I’m maybe substituting here 🤣🤣

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing glad your feeling like that this time! Although I agree doesn’t take long for it all to be thrown out of the window and peeing on sticks daily 🤣 how big will the age gaps be?

As far as age gap is concerned my son is 10 🙈 I have him when I was 20 and now trying for my second at almost 31!! Different partners though and it's just something we want to share together. We have done all we can for this month now dtd the day before the day off and the day after my static smiley. So tomorrow I will be 1dpo... let the wait begin I guess.

@ANP2020 this is why I bought a kitten last summer when OH said not yet to TTC. He’s my little baby at the moment, step kids roll their eyes and say ‘ugh she loves that cat so much’ 😂 he’s definitely got me through the last 8/9 months. I used to have Guinea pigs in my early twenties, so cute when they popcorn! Hope they make you feel better whilst you wait. Great distraction.

I’m 7DPO now and unsure about when I want to start testing. AF due next Friday, also the day I’m meeting my newborn nephew for the first time. Very exciting but also could be emotionally difficult if AF arrives that day or I get a BFN. It’s tempting me to take tests few days before so I let myself down gently and keep it together when meeting the baby. But also can’t handle the stark white tests.

My step kids are 8 and 5, it would be great to conceive soon so there isn’t a huge gap. Unsure about whether I would want more than 1 at this point, I think if the gap is small enough then I’m more likely to stop after 1.

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing You didn't offend me at all not in the slightest sorry if I came across asif you had. 😊 everyone is different like you say I was just sharing my situation. Definitely no offence taken here.

7dpo!! Feeling anything at all? That’s a difficult one because that disappointment of a stark white bfn does take A bit of recovery! I think the best case scenario would be to not test at all then if AF hasn’t come you can test the day after you’ve met your nephew BUT I know if your anything like me that’s not going to happen so you’ll test early!! What about the Weds how many dpo will you be then? I’m going to test next Thursday 2 days before AF purely because I’m a day off and if it’s negative I can wallow a bit and not worry about work!

Any other symptoms ladies now were a bit further on! Still just sore nipples here when I prod very hard 🤣🤣

@ANP2020 they are so cute, the one in the background looks so much like one of mine that I had! Adorable.

I don’t feel much to be honest, boobs feel normal. I had a bit of cramps yesterday and today, but yesterday’s could have been eating too much tapas 😂 I’ve decided I can’t wait to test, and tomorrow I’m 9DPO, 5 days before AF so I’m going to do a FRER on FMU 🤞🏻 But not got my hopes up, convinced myself I’m not pregnant because I don’t feel any different and been full of energy this week.

@ANP2020 that is so sweet they are so cute... this is my distraction. We picked him up in July 2020 on our supposed wedding day! We ended up getting married the year after 😊 he's honestly like a child... he's hard work haha

@smiles39 oh my gosh the blue eyes. beautiful!! Fur children are literally the best especially when your feeling a little down when ttc mine makes me feel so much better. Fluffy cuddles are a great healer 💜

@thebloodycatwontstopmeowing I’m about 4dpo too and my nipples Are Sore but that could just be normal and lower back ache too which isn’t normal for me so you never know!! 🤞🤞
I also took a 2.5 hour nap today as felt so
Sleepy! But that’s not unusual I love a nap!!
