@Cruz86 Thank you so much. I know that I will deal with whatever it is, but the thought of having to do it around my parentsno way I can tell themis terrifying. I'm someone whose emotions are on their sleeve so to hide it would be so, so hard. How are you today?

@Sassy144 nothing TMI here! Never thought I'd share so many details about my sex life and body and things I've peed on online... but here we are lol.

That first period after a mc is very triggering @Sassy144. You just think this shouldn't be happening to me right now 😞 Look after yourself and do what you need to do to get through it.

@Ganesh2022 that must be really tough. How long are they with you for? Would it not feel like a bit of a weight off if you told them what was going on? I'm okay thank you! Apparently I'm 6dpo but I think it's more like 4. Doing another progesterone test today to see if it's consistently low but, apart from that, I'm just overanalysing every little thing! Got a lot of left sided pain, I'm starving all the time and I've got one slightly sore boob 🤷🏼‍♀️😂 Oh and the bloat is crazy!

@Sassy144 I’m so sorry! Sending virtual hugs. I can only imagine how it feels. I’m dreading it. Mine still hasn’t arrived but I’m not reading in to it. My cycle is probably hugely screwed from mc and I’m just riding it out. I’ve told myself that I’m not going to test either as if by miracle I am pregnant again so soon I don’t think I’m ready to know. At least that way if AF does arrive I won’t know either way if I was or wasn’t. If that makes any sense at all?

@Skl2021 my heart goes out to you so much this morning, fingers crossed it’s nothing & you can get in to the EPU for some reassurance asap. Although I also find EPU / scans triggering so can understand why you’re anxious about that too. Praying that all is ok 🙏🏼🤍 I can’t remember if you’re already on progesterone but if you are you could maybe look at upping the dosage?

@Ganesh2022 hopefully as you say it is implantation bleeding & it’ll stop soon 🤞🏼🙏🏼

@aesgriff sorry you didn’t get the reassurance you hoped for at your scan today. As everyone has said it is still so early, try to stay positive for your next scan 🤍

@Cruz86 Nah, last time I told them, but they just laid into me for trying at my age. Zero support. They assume we stopped trying I'm guessing. So would only be worse if they knew I was "still at it." :( They're here for a week, terrified I'll start properly bleeding and have to smile all the while. Hope your progesterone test comes back good! It's a home test?

Just an update ladies. Gp absolutely useless wanted me to go to them for a check up?! Which is pointless as what can they check? Won't refer me to epu as I haven't had booking appointment. I know that's total crap as I got referred last time without having a booking appointment. Must have just got a lovely gp last time who helped me 😩 so I declined and said I would contact the midwife's themselves. I have my booking appointment tomorrow afternoon so will tell them my concerns and see if they will do anything. X

@Skl2021 how unhelpful..I'm sure your midwife will refer you tomorrow, thinking of you xx

@calimc83 I'm so angry with them why is it not consistent rules across the board. How is it luck of the draw of which gp will help. I'm not going to them for a pointless appointment when they can't do anything. Just feel like screaming 😤 pregnancy after loss is the hardest thing to do. X

@Skl2021 how sh^t!! My GP legit just checked my cervix so I get not wanting to go for an appointment. Pregnancy after loss is rubbish. I feel so detached. How are your symptoms doing now? We’re here for you xx

@aesgriff I'm not letting anyone near my cervix the way I feel I don't want anyone touching me. Will struggle enough for a scan I feel so scared. Don't even want a vaginal scan. Just feel so detached think I'm preparing myself for the worst trying to protect myself. I have some back ache and few pains in lower stomach x

Trying to stay positive and tell myself it’s early days. I’ll find out my blood test results later hopefully and they’ll let me know what to do from there.
It’s all so cruel. I wish I could take back all of our miscarriages and gift us all the baby we so desperately lost. The only upside is finding a group of girls who are so supportive of one another. Now that is irreplaceable xx♥️♥️xx

@Skl2021 how shitty :( Seems to be as you say a lot of luck of the draw...location, GP's mood...I'm so, so sorry they didn't refer you. From their perspective...why not just refer!?! Literally, what does it cost. EPU by definition...EARLY. many women won't have had booking appts yet! I'm not from UK and 8 years ago didn't know one needed to "book"...

@Skl2021 I feel you!! They took us into the room where they told us about MMC this morning. I know they probably wouldn’t remember but I do and it was sh^t. Laying there whilst they’re probing you just horrible. Whatever happens we are here and together we are strong!! Rant, offload, whatever you need to do, just do it here we are here to listen xx

@Skl2021 you are absolutely doing the right thing here. Stand your ground and do not let a GP push you into being examined. I'm amazed at how both you and @aesgriff had been told to go in for an examination. I can't see how it offers anything other than more anxiety 🤷‍♀️

@aesgriff you're right. It's totally taken any joy out of getting a positive pregnancy test. So much anxiety and worry when we should be excited and happy. I'll be an absolute wreck next time I get a BFP so I'm going to be depending on all of my lovelies on here to cheer me on 😂

@Ganesh2022 that's true. I had a very sympathetic GP call a few weeks ago who did a full blood panel when I know others won't do anything until RMC contacts them. She did say 'I've been where you are' so I suspect she took pitty on me and my unaccommodating uterus.

@aesgriff I can't imagine how u feel I'm already close to tears at the thought of being in the scan room. Dont know if I can do it. I dont even want to go to the booking Tomorrow which is in the same building. X

@bunnykins123 nope absolutely not there's nothing he can do or say from an examination. Just wanted a referral it's not hard. He was male which I know I shouldn't be sexist but he didn't care in the slightest and just said it can be normal and I said I just had a miscarriage and he said oh well there's nothing that can be done if it's happening again. I was like thanks for that Mr obvious great help you are. X

It’s so ridiculous all the differing levels of support out there. I was told by both GP and EPU that they ‘don’t do’ blood tests anymore to check HCG levels and absolutely no scans until at least 6 weeks. Basically no one wanted to know or help. They were sympathetic but I think their hands were tied. There should be so much more support! What’s the point in an EPU if they can’t do anything?

So sorry that your GP was useless, the hoops we have to jump through are ridiculous! Totally understand guarding your heart but keeping everything crossed for you & I hope your midwife is lovely tomorrow 🤍
