@Skl2021 oh love, this is horrible I bet your head is spinning. Have you DTD recently? Your cervix is really sensitive in early pregnancy so it could be irritation from that and it’s just coming out. Please if you feel you can call your GP and get an EPU referral xx

aesgriff · 21/02/2022 09:18

@Ganesh2022 I spotted for about 5 days in total. I went from pink, to light brown, to bright red, back to light brown but only when wiping with a tiny bit in my knickers sometimes. My HCG was rising though according to blood tests despite the spotting. I was about 3 weeks.
Just at EPU now waiting for a scan to see if they can see a sac xx

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 09:18

@mummyofrb oh yeah, nothing like wanting a baby to make you notice all the pregnant people....tbh I felt like I needed a 2 year break. 2 months would've done nothing for me, so we cracked on b/c I don't have 2 years to spare. I got pregnant without period but now spotting :/

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 09:19

Thx @aesgriff, hoping it goes well for you today!!!

calimc83 · 21/02/2022 09:19

@Ganesh2022 here ( virtually) hand holding 😚..thinking of you also. Try not to worry if possible. It could easily be implantation bleeding ( I had that after a positive test in my last PG) lasted a day or so xxx

aesgriff · 21/02/2022 09:21

@Ganesh2022 I’ve had nothing since then so over a week of no spotting. It’s so scary though. Sending a big hand squeeze xx

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 09:21

@Skl2021 could be something completely and totally unrelated to the pregnancy. The whole area is so sensitive at this time... Uncertainty is...well, for me, it's literally intolerable.

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 09:23

Thanks @calimc83, I had a bit of blood on Saturday, thought that was the end of it. My parents are here and putting on a smiling face if something is wrong...I dont know how I could.

bunnykins123 · 21/02/2022 09:27

@Ganesh2022 oh no!! Hopefully it's just the little bean settling in. I don't advocate this but have you tested again? Sending another virtual hand hold. We are here for you whatever the outcome 💕

theblueflowers · 21/02/2022 09:28

@Skl2021 your head must be all over the place right now, but try to stay positive- there could be so many reasons for this x

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 09:29

@Ganesh2022 sorry to hear about the spotting🤞 it stops xx

Thanks everyone I would have to go through go to get to epu they have to refer. I just don't feel right I have a gut feeling something is wrong. And I'm getting period pains. This is exactly what happened last time so I don't have much hope. I have work in an hour so can't do anything today just have to hope something doesn't happen while I'm there
@calimc83 no sex either so that didn't set it off xx

@Ganesh2022 fingers crossed it is implantation! You are at the right time for it, so that is a positive!

peachiekeen · 21/02/2022 09:30

@Skl2021 @Ganesh2022 sending all of the positive vibes and love to you both. I’ve fallen down many a Mumsnet hole and have read so many positive stories of people who had spotting. There’s so many possible reasons for it but I can imagine how triggering it must be x

calimc83 · 21/02/2022 09:34

@Skl2021 can u call in sick, ring the GP, explain what's happened and see if they can get u in for a scan? Xx

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 09:34

Thanks everyone; really appreciate it. @Skl2021 all my admiration to you for being able to get it up for work; think you could duck out early or are you the type who finds work a good distraction? I'm praying that, though this feels like last time and that's terrifying, it will all be completely fine Flowers

calimc83 · 21/02/2022 09:35

@Ganesh2022 I get that, you just need to know either way. Thinking of you today xxx

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 09:37

@bunnykins123 I've tested on a cheapie, line is ok, not amazing, but there. I don't put too much stock in it b/c my best lines were a pregnancy that didn't work out but I did want to see if the line had completely disappeared...

Skl2021 · 21/02/2022 09:49

@calimc83 I have rang gp will go from there. Can't contact epu without referral. X

@Ganesh2022 thanks I'm just about holding it together but could break down at any point 😭 I can't go through this again x

peachiekeen · 21/02/2022 09:55

@Skl2021 could you call in sick at all? You are so much more important right now. I hope the GP gets back to you quickly!

bunnykins123 · 21/02/2022 10:01

@Skl2021 I would call in sick, you won't be in the right mindset to work anyway. I think you need to put yourself first. Let us know how it goes with the GP 💕

@Ganesh2022 oh I totally agree! The lines don't really tell you much. How are you feeling?

aesgriff · 21/02/2022 10:01

Not a good morning for this thread girls..

My scan didn’t show a sac. Still PUL 😰 xx

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 10:02

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 10:02

Ganesh2022 · 21/02/2022 10:05
