I’m 4dpo and I have pains in my boobs, very mild abdominal cramps and lower back ache. And I feel as stupid as I sound typing this out 😂 I can’t help but hope it’s a little eggy nestling in

Morning ladies, sorry for being such a downer yesterday I just couldn't think straight. I'm not sure wether to contact the EPU today? I'm not bleeding yet and have had sore breasts still through the night and slight nausea. I don't really know what to think, I feel like I'm clinging to hope when I know deep down I'll miscarry any day 😞

@calimc83 sorry you've had such a rubbish time. That's enough to have to deal with without TTC as well 😞 The lack of ewcm must be to do with hormones but it's been fine up until this cycle! So frustrating. Hopefully it doesn't affect anything. When do you normally ovulate?

@PamelaDoov I genuinely don't believe there's such thing as 'too early' in your TWW. Really hope you get some good news this month.

@arianasky you have nothing to apologise for! It's definitely worth a try calling epu. I'm not sure whether they'll say it's too early but I'm of the opinion that if you don't try you won't know! Have you done another test this morning? X

@Cruz86 I don't have anymore left 😞 I've got some arriving today though so maybe I'll hold off calling today, take a test see if there's a faint line or if it is negative then wait for the bleed, but if it's somehow darker which I doubt I'll call tomorrow morning?

@arianasky please don't apologise! I think absolutely contact the EPU, that is what they are there for - I rang them non stop when I had my MMC and didn't know what to do and even just speaking to a sympathetic, clear head helped (when they answered!). One call might make you feel a bit more in control of this whole uncontrollable process. Thinking of you xx

I had some wine last night as my BFN at 10.DPO made me really, really sad. I'm bracing myself for AF on Wed. Ordered a FRER last night so will do it probably tomorrow AM with FMU but I'm not feeling hopefully now

Tmi but we DTD last night and when I wiped after there was a lot of pink watery stuff mixed with his you know what... I'm assuming that's spotting and AF is on her way as this happened last month. This spotting four days before period is new, do I need to worry it's a hormonal imbalance or something? Does anyone else have it? I've fallen into Google

In a holiday cottage with friends this weekend- no WiFi and patchy 4g. It's like quitting Mumsnet cold turkey! It's coming up on FW again, so we're like a pair of teenagers, trying to have very quiet sex without being caught! It doesn't help our friends kids keep threatening to want to sleep in our room. They've been knocking my door already this morning wanting to play with cool auntie tofu, best get going!

@Cruz86 erm last cycle it was around day 14 or so. One before it was a bit later. My app reckons around Thursday this week. Can't figure out when's best to DTD the rest of this week? Where are u now in your cycle? Is it best to DTD every day for the next week?! Or is that too much...😩

@MO22 I’m so sorry you’re going through this 😞 it’s so tough. From what you’ve described it could be a bit of an irritated cervix which may been a good sign? I was showing BFN apart from the tiniest of shadows on an IC. Only a FRER showed a line. I’m gonna test either tonight or tomorrow morning when I’m home as I’m still spotting and on my 3rd day of it! I usually spot for 3 days before my period so I’m thinking it’s likely a chemical but it’s out of my control if it is xxx

@calimc83 I think its every other day as it allows enough time for the spermies numbers to increase? You have probably said before (sorry!) but are you using OPKs? I'm so sorry about your friend too 😢

@arianasky how are you feeling today lovely? I hope you're doing ok. I absolutely think call the EPU, if anything just for some specialist support.

@aesgriff have you tested again today? I'm so sorry to hear your still spotting. Some people do spot in early pregnancy (they say as long as it doesn't fill a pad - or something like that!) so it could mean absolutely nothing. I've got my fingers crossed for you 🤞

@aesgriff thank you, to be fair I've just checked and it looks like everything is quiet (lol) down there and no spotting now so maybe it was just a bit of irritation from sex... Who knows what to think. I'll just test tomorrow with FRER and go from there but trying to assume AF is on her way.

Have lunch with my mum and she is a bit woo so I imagine if anything is going on there she'll be asking me if I'm pregnant lol.

@calimc83 @bunnykins123 I read every other day too during high fertile period, and then I think the SMEP says DTD when you hit peak that day and 3 days after. I'll be hon, Ive never been able to get DH to do that 4 days at a time thing, he calls me a sex pest!

@arianasky so sorry you are going through this turmoil at the moment. I think definitely call the EPU- even getting bloods over the next few days to get your levels checked could help you feel a sense of control.

I like to look at this when in the TWW. Even at 10dpo you are definitely not out!

@MO22 haha sounds like my mum! Omg you are so right - there is absolutely no way DH could do 4 days in a row, I can probably get about a weeks worth of him being on 'demand' every other day, but 3/4 days in a row isn't even worth asking for 😂 poor lads, you gotta feel for them!

@bunnykins123 I know right, it's so typical, outside of the fertile window he tries it on a few times but as soon as it is actually the right timings he's always tired, ill, exhausted... I have to begin the period with like, "I'm going to need x amount of times from you spread across these days, PREPARE yourself and no whinging". So romantic.

I just wish they knew what the insanity actually felt like...!

@theblueflowers I've been looking at that! But it made me feel a bit "why aren't I in the 66 percent" and sad... I'm a bit of a pessimist I think.

My FRER on Amazon has just turned up after Ive already been for my first wee ha. What do we think, I should wait for tomorrow morning for best possible chance right? I'm itching to use it 👀

@MO22 poor DH had a quiet word with me, telling me I'd become a mad women and needed to relax. Obvs this was not well received. Oh there is absolutely nothing romantic about TTC. 'Babe, when you come upstairs I'm going to pounce on you as I'm ovulating tomorrow'. You can understand why they find it so hard!

So I always find that my evening urine is stronger for lines than morning, so maybe try that? Just make sure that you don't drink anything for a few hours and hold your pee in as much as you can.

@bunnykins123 so true, I used the flashy smileys for the first time last cycle and kept being like, this is really the day we MUST do it, wait no, THIS is the day we must do it... Actually I've got it wrong, it's now. By the end of it he was like, why is your fertile period FOUR YEARS LONG. It all got a bit much haha at least I can laugh about it now, at the time I was a woman possessed...

@bunnykins123 we have all been there! 🙌 Our rational heads go out of the window when ttc 🤣 and romance ha does that even exist 🙈 just get the job done 🙊 it's horrible that we get to this point! I put so much pressure on myself every month it's unreal! Maybe don't tell him your ovulating so it takes some of the pressure off? Xx

@MO22 I got the faintest frer at 11! And a shadow on an IC! But nothing at 10. I also found I got stronger lines on SMU! Good luck for when u decide to test 🤞 xx

@MO22 YES! And even I get a bit like 'hurrrrry up, I'm so done with this'. Is that awful to admit 😂 I use the smileys too and my last cycle I had 9 flashies. I was absolutely loosing my mind by the time we actually got the static. It really does feel like years! I've had 3 chemicals in 4 cycles (sob) and I always get stupidly long fertile period and EWCM so it's actually impossible to know when I'm about to get my peak. So every other day / 3 days it is for us.

@Skl2021 you're right, it's such a turn off 😂 he can't avoid it as our bathroom is filled with tests so he knows it's coming. That really must add to the stress, poor lad. I probably need to change my tactic to make him feel a little less pressure... 🙈
