@PeanuttyButter I'm so pleased that you've had a really clear peak this month on BOTH Clearblue and cheapies!🙂 It's completely up to you to follow your instincts with this but I would choose to take the progesterone before CD 20, probably on CD 16 (at least 36 hours after your peak / static smiley face). The progesterone seemed to work 36 hours after the static smiley face on Clearblue for me. I tried the flashing smileys previous months but the flashing faces were driving me crazy for several days lol. Keep us updated. Really hope this is your month!!! Xx

H0peing · 11/03/2022 15:44

@Angelmama1121 Great news!!! I had a few episodes of spotting before my 13 week scan but baby was fine every time. I was told that spotting is common in healthy pregnancies. How many weeks are you now? Xx

Leok83 · 11/03/2022 17:27

@Annny27 we just found out this week it's a girl💓!! Did the harmony test and all came back good. Will you be finding out do you think?

@scrumdiddly123 thank you!!

@Angelmama1121 congrats on the scan!!😊

Angelmama1121 · 11/03/2022 18:25

@H0peing thank you that’s made me feel a lot better. I measured at 6+3. Next scan is two weeks today so hopefully I’ll see a big difference by then. 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Annny27 @Leok83 thank you both ❤️

Annny27 · 11/03/2022 22:07

@leok83 one of each how amazing 💗💗🥳🥳 and not sure yet, my DH deffo wants to find out and I am on the fence haha.

@angelmama1121 on Monday speak to your GP to prescribe progesterone. New guidance recently come in to say any woman who experiences bleeding in early pregnancy and has had one or more miscarriages should be offered progesterone :)

@Leok83 aww congrats!! A little lady for you ❤

@Annny27 i wish I was one of the people who could wait for the surprise haha but I am so impatient.
Also last time we found out via nipt and omg i was crying so emotional... it was such a special moment that I wanna do it again now 😆 we will do the nipt again if everything is ok at 12w scan in 2 weeks.
Still struggling with covid and on day 3 of fever so obviously worried about pregnancy :(

SunnySideUp2020 · 12/03/2022 16:34

Greats news @Angelmama1121 xx

Kelb79 · 13/03/2022 14:02

@Angelmama1121 omg thank god!!!! I was so scared for you!! That’s such such great news!!!! ❤️❤️❤️

So I can’t even get a positive on a covid test 🤣🤣 feeling rough as hell today and was in contact with someone who tested positive on Friday so was pretty sure I had it - all the right symptoms! But nope, can’t get a double line on anything 🤣🤣

Great timing - fertile week starts tomorrow and here’s me a snivelling snotty mess looking sooo attractive 🙄🤦🏼‍♀️🤣 ffs!!!

PeanuttyButter · 13/03/2022 14:22

I'm on CD18 and started spotting again last night. Was pretty sure AF would be here today extremely early again (Cd16 last month) but seemed to have stopped. Too early for implantation bleeding as only got my peak on CD14 so I decided to start with the progesterone pessaries early. Seems to have stopped the bleeding but now I'm wondering if I've done the right thing..basically prolonging a losing cycle...
I've done a covid test today too. Feel rotten, banging headache, general fatigue and just feeling unwell x

SunnySideUp2020 · 13/03/2022 14:23

@Kelb79

I have covid but didnt show on home test immediately. Pcr positive though...
Sometimes those home tests are slow

Kelb79 · 13/03/2022 14:53

Awww @PeanuttyButter bless you lovely! You just seem to get constant crappiness 😕 I really hope things level our for you - you so deserve a break!!! ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve been doing some reading and I actually think how I’m feeling is down to the acupuncture!! 😳😳 I’ve read a few articles and literally ticked off every single after effect!! (Serious emotional release, spacey head, pee’ing constantly, cold/flu symptoms, laughing uncontrollably for no reason 🤣🤣🤷🏼‍♀️ soooo many more!!) it’s nuts!! Seems it might be working…. Even if it doesn’t help me to get pregnant I think it’s releasing an awful lot of built up stress and emotion that can’t have been helping things!! 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

PeanuttyButter · 14/03/2022 09:20

@Kelb79 tell me about it I feel like the last 12months have been the worst roller coaster ride of my life. I keep trying to tell myself that stress isn't helping and I've been better..but everything else in life keeps poking me to stress me out haha.
Glad the accupuncure seems to be helping. Hope you get your BFP soon. Xx

Kelb79 · 14/03/2022 11:05

@PeanuttyButter I had no idea just how much I’d been wound up by stress over the last couple of years (I own a restaurant in Cornwall so covid times have been beyond stressful on top of TTC!!) but I think the acupuncture is totally unravelling me!!
I’m not sure if it’s something you could consider but I’d highly recommend it! Even if it doesn’t directly help me to conceive I know it’s starting to chill me out a lot about it all 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Annny27 · 14/03/2022 11:54

Uhhh I wrote a massive reply then it disappeared haha! So here we go again....

@sunnysideup2020 do you have a gender preference this time or not bothered each way? :) I think If we do find out I would like to keep it a secret from family and friends but I am not sure how well that would work haha.

How's the fever now? Hopefully baby is doing fine! And how is is your daughter getting on?

@peanuttybutter how frustrating:( do you track bbt as that might help you know when to take progesterone

@kelb79 I am glad the accupuncture seems to be helping your stress and anxiety! That's one bonus 🙌

PeanuttyButter · 15/03/2022 10:54

@Annny27 no I don't but I'm going to start on the next cycle I think. I'm not a great sleeper so didn't think it was worth it but now il try anything.

PeanuttyButter · 16/03/2022 09:04

Omg these cramps are so bad. 6dpo, started taking progesterone 3dpo as had a bit of bleeding but that seems to have stopped now. The cramping is awful though, can feel it all in my back and in my thighs. Had to take paracetamol last night to try and sleep. I don't know if it's AF trying to come and the progesterone stopping it or if it's just the progesterone in general. Either way if it's a BFN after all this I'm gonna be so upset.
Also don't know when to stop taking it.. cycle usually 24days but I ovulated 2 days late this month according to opk. I've had BFPs at 10dpo every other time so do I just wait til then or drag it out to 14? Help

Annny27 · 16/03/2022 09:19

@peanuttybutter I used to take mine ubtill 14dpo, test and then stop if it was negative.

Hopefully those cramps are a sign of things going on!

SunnySideUp2020 · 16/03/2022 09:29

@Annny27 would love a boy but i am happy with anything 😄

Feeling much better today! It's been a long week but we are all nuch better today.

How are you doing?

PeanuttyButter · 16/03/2022 09:43

@Annny27 I feel like I'm being soft (and have a huge shock if I ever get pregnant again) but at the same time it's hard to just accept if I don't know that I'm doing it for a reason if you see what i mean. I usually just soldier on with AF cramps etc but this is like a toothache type pain, not strong just in the background and not letting up.
I'm gonna re-evaluate at 10dpo I think lol

Kelb79 · 16/03/2022 13:01

@PeanuttyButter oh nooo that sounds hideous!! Is it a known possible side effect of the progesterone? I know nothing about it tbh 😵‍💫
Hope it passes very soon! And hope even more that it’s a sign of a wonderful miracle 🙏🏼 You never know!! ❤️

So what’s the deal with progesterone?? Is it something I should be asking about??? 🤔
I’m at the try anytime state too 🤣🤣

I’m still rough as rats this week - proper man flu!! Although last time I felt like this I conceived so I’m dealing with it in eternal hope 🤣🤣🤣

PeanuttyButter · 16/03/2022 13:26

@Kelb79 the cramping seems to have settled a bit now on the whole. Cramping can be a side effect but I didnt have it like this last time I had progesterone.

My RMC clinic has prescribed it to extend my luteal phase as I usually start spotting 5-6dpo

H0peing · 16/03/2022 14:13

@PeanuttyButter did anyone give you any advice about how many dpo to stop taking it? I would probably keep taking it as long as possible alongside pregnancy tests but obviously you don't want to start pregnancy tests too early. I had some mild cramps when I took progesterone after ovulation with this pregnancy so I'm definitely hoping it's a good sign for you too! Xx

PeanuttyButter · 16/03/2022 15:42

@H0peing I'd hoped you would comment. They said cycle day 21-28 but as I've started early I'm going to carry on until 10dpo and take it from there. Last time I knew I was pregnant before I tested so let's see. The cramping hasn't been mild. Can't explain it, it's not like sharp strong cramping it's just constant and down my legs and in my back. I'm hoping it's a good sign too but I've learned not to get my hopes up these days. I'm gonna start testing Friday so 8dpo

apwilso · 16/03/2022 18:40

Hi all!

Thought I'd pop on and catch up on everything. AF came yesterday and booked into see the doctors next week to start my fertility journey whatever that maybe! Also joining slimming world 😅

H0peing · 16/03/2022 19:42

@PeanuttyButter Which CD will you be on at 10dpo? Will you try using FRER? I found those ones the most reliable at showing bfp when testing early, although they are annoyingly expensive. X
