So I’ve been having a total wobble!! 😵‍💫
Everything’s just built up and I think I’m just having a total confidence crisis 😩
We’ve been researching the next step - IVF - and it’s just making me feel so inadequate.
I put on weight during the brief time I was pregnant and it won’t shift (anyone else get this?? 10kg ffs!!!) I know it probably hormonal changes but it’s making me feel terrible as I just can’t shift it!!
It’s all got me really paranoid with OH 🤦🏼‍♀️
I’ve been a mess tbh!!!

I’m trying to drag myself out if it though. Started clean eating for lent yesterday - I used to eat like this all the time and felt amazing but I’ve seriously slipped!!
Got the acupuncture starting this weekend and spoke to my fertility team yesterday about moving forward with IVF in Spain. We’re not rushing in just yet but getting the foundations laid. I pray we’ll get pregnant naturally in the meantime but I need to be moving forward with something by the time we get to the due date (April 30th) or I know that’s going to hit really hard.

I’m 1DPO - DTD the last 3 days (and 3 days before that but was away for a hen weekend so missed a couple of my fertile days 🙄)

@Kelb79 I’m so sorry you’re feeling down. I get where you’re coming from with the weight gain. I gained almost 2 stone with my ds (lost him at 24w) and have only lost half a stone! So I’m heaviest than I’ve ever been before pregnancy. The self confidence has definitely taken a knock so I’m with you. Pleased to hear you’re starting your clean eating again, hopefully in a few days you’ll notice a difference in how you’re feeling 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

Don’t lose hope with conceiving naturally- keep staying strong. Easier said than done I know. Sending you so much love xx

@Kelb79 sorry you are feeling down. Fully with you as the BFP train didn’t stop here and instead AF arrived again. Really hope your TWW goes quickly with a BFP at the end of it. x

Sorry you're feeling crap @Kelb79 I know what you mean about weight gain and wanting to clean eat etc. It's so hard when you feel so low isn't it.

I'm CD17/24 and don't think I ovulated this month. Had a high opk on CD9 (usually ovulate on day 13) but then it went low again and nothing since.
Got some cramping this morning and my nipples are really tender and now I'm bleeding..seems too much to be implantation it's literally as much as I would have when I wake up on the first day of my period. Bright red, no clots or anything yet though. Also seems too early too for either implantation or period, cycle day 17, I'm usually bang on time. Hate my body.
Had hoped the last really heavy period would have meant a nice fresh start but it's all gone to pot.

Definitely period guys. Tmi but it went down my legs when I got out of bed this morning. Some big clots too. So confused as to what's going on.
BFN yesterday and today (not surprising)
Do I need to see my GP or can this happen?

@peanuttybutter was just a really short cycle? I would maybe speak to the GP if it's a bit different to normal they can rule out a few things. But also I have had super weird cycles during ttc!

How are you all?
Had a little quiet moment to get my head together - I really started to lose it for a bit there!
But I had my first appointment at acupuncture yesterday. The guy I’m seeing is a Chinese doctor with 18 years fertility specialisation - he worked at the top fertility clinic in Toronto and has seen a lot of success. Had a really big chat with him and feel SOOOO much more positive!
He’s sending me Chinese medicine this week too on top of the acupuncture. It’s not cheap - £40 per session and then £120 per cycle for the medicine 😵‍💫 but if there’s a possibility of avoiding the invasiveness and cost if IVF then I’m down for that!
I felt great after the session too!! Calm and relaxed yet oddly energised and happy!
I know I haven’t had results yet but I’d already definitely recommend it!!
I’ve started taking CoQ10 aswell - 400mg. The doc said it’s well worth it.
We’re researching the IVF in Spain too and setting it up to just push to go button if we decide to go that way. Definitely holding back for a minute though.

@PeanuttyButter eurgh!! Your body is being a nightmare!! Have you approached a fertility team yet? Perhaps the way to go the get investigations? But I’d defo speak to your doctor - possibly progesterone or something might help?? Sending love, I know how stressful it can be when you’re body is being weird!! ❤️❤️❤️

I’m 5DPO - been working on the positivity and not obsessing this cycle but guarantee I’ll start testing soon 🤣🤣

@kelb79 doing well thanks, 6 weeks on Friday so not feeling much symptoms yet but have been gagging quite a bit and retching when eating haha

I am a big believer in alternate medicine so hopefully the accupuncture/ herbs will help!

Are you going to test early or wait for period due date?

@Annny27 yeah… I caved yesterday (10DPO) bfn of course but I’ve started to prefer testing to soften the blow of AF arriving 🙄
I know it’s not over till the fat lady flows but I don’t feel it this month 🤔
Acupuncture and Chinese meds feeling great though - relaxing yet energising and definitely feels good to be doing something pro-active 👌🏼

@Kelb79 oh that's 💩 so annoying!!! I have heard acupuncture is good for fertility I had it after a car accident.. it's definitely been quiet round here!! I am all good had another private scan today 11 weeks 6 days according to them so roughly 2 days out but baby is looking amazing getting so big 171 heart beat got my proper nhs 12 week one on Thursday but didn't wanna go feeling all anxious. Sickness has finally died down still have the food aversions xx

@kelb79 sorry you had a bfn! Always sucks!!!! It can take a few months for changes to kick in so keep going with the accupuncure and meds and stuff 💗

@sweetbabydust1989 amazing news! Have you told people ? My sickness started a few days ago only been sick twice a little bit but it's just constant gagging

@Annny27 congratulations lovely feeling isn't it.. only people to No is my mum and my boss at work no one else not mentioned it to my boys yet. I have a 12 week scan on Thursday which is the big one but I no things are ok so once I have had that done I will announce it as I should be 12 weeks 3 days gone I would love to keep quiet longer but it's getting harder at work now. My little one wasn't happy yesterday it was kicking away when being scanned and kept wanting to lay on its side so she has to shake it x

Gutted but was expecting it. But really getting annoyed with my body throwing in a bleed 2/3/4 days early lately… what the hell is that all about??!! 🙄

We aren't really trying if I'm honest. I'm only tracking my periods to see when I'm due taking no supplements. Our wedding has definitely distracted me which mentally has been great Iv had no break downs which is so much better as it was draining. Not heard anything from the hospital about our IUI and I don't know how il feel if we do. We are dtd so much more that we aren't thinking about it.
