Oh congratulations @Leok83 !!!!!
What a lovely surprise indeed!
We will be having such small age gap, i am so worried I will die of exhaustion 😅
Cant find a place at nursery... now they are telling me maybe May 🤗

Fizzl · 19/02/2022 15:09

@Leok83 this is amazing news! Congratulations!
I'm hoping we will have similar good luck when trying for no.2 😂. We'd like a close-ish gap if we can so planning to start trying again later this year once my cycle hopefully comes back.
So exciting to see so much positivity on this thread - wishing you all lots of healthy pregnancies and babies!

Angelmama1121 · 19/02/2022 15:33

Congratulations to you too @Angelmama1121 you must have a lot of different feelings at the minute I'm sure, but its really lovely news for you

Whiffle77 · 19/02/2022 16:04

And what a lovely pregnancy club you are now growing Smile

Angelmama1121 · 19/02/2022 16:24

@Whiffle77 thank you. I’m still in shock. Very happy but obviously very anxious too. Just need to try and enjoy it and not stress too much. Easier said than done though isn’t it? 🙈

Leok83 · 20/02/2022 21:00

@Whiffle77 @Fizzl @SunnySideUp thanks ladies! Lovely to hear from you all too. Hope you and your babies are all doing great!xx

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/02/2022 13:06

Scan went well today 🥲 he said I am about 8 weeks pregnant. Little gummy bear with strong heartbeat...
I am going back in 2 weeks to try and estimate a due date and 12w scan date.

So it is crazy but tests fainter or darker really dont mean anything...

Annny27 · 21/02/2022 13:25

Wow so exciting!!!! @sunnysideup2020 so glad it all went well and hope amazing to be two weeks ahead than what you thought haha 🤣🤣

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/02/2022 13:38

@Annny27 i dont think it s possible becaUe i was testing. I am sure in 2 weeks it will be closer to what I think! I might br 1 week ahead but definitely not 2!

SunnySideUp2020 · 21/02/2022 13:39

How was your blood test today?

Annny27 · 21/02/2022 19:49

It was fine, get results tomorrow 🤞🤞

Yeah maybe when your opks were positive it was actually picking up hcg! Who knows! But food news that baby is doing well 💗💗

@Sweetbabydust1989 So pleased that your scan went well with a nice, strong heartbeat xxxxxx

H0peing · 21/02/2022 22:34

@Annny27 I'm not sure which one I am officially under. Seems like both as I regularly see consultants and midwives. I just found out that I have gestational diabetes so, even though I was already having extra scans etc due to recurrent miscarriage and being 40, I will now be monitored even more! I only just met the criteria for the levels though so, even though I was eating quite healthily, going for walks etc, I'll just have to be extra careful with my diet and exercise plus I will now have to keep checking my sugar levels 4 times per day and this info will be sent to the specialist team of midwives for gestational diabetes. They definitely won't want me to go past 40 weeks now but I'd be happy with anything over 37 weeks full term. I'm 29 weeks tomorrow so she could healthily arrive in about 8 weeks! She's very active! Bit like a dance party going on in my belly! It's really helpful to be at the stage where I can feel her moving about so much now.

It's great that your progesterone levels are being tested! Really useful to know if you need a prescription for extra progesterone or not. Xx

H0peing · 21/02/2022 22:37

@Leok83 Congratulations! Xx

H0peing · 21/02/2022 22:39

@Angelmama1121 Congratulations! Lovely to see it in writing! Xx

H0peing · 21/02/2022 22:40

@SunnySideUp2020 Really glad to hear that your scan went well! That's great news! Xx

Sweetbabydust1989 · 21/02/2022 23:08

@H0peing thanks lovely feels nice to have scan pictures and videos onto the 12 week scan still got a couple of weeks for that one feels like forever I just want to tell my work as I am shattered and having to hide it atm xx

Annny27 · 22/02/2022 09:07

Just got my progesterone back and its 62nmol/l which I think is okay for 4/5 weeks pregnant! Might do another one in a weeks time to make sure it's still at a good level.

Anyone have any experience with what progesterone should be? Calling the fertility clinic later to confirm

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 22/02/2022 14:11

I had mine done with Amelia at 14/15 dpo and was 167.52 nmol/L
But it was very high and I thought so at the time... so I don't think it's a good comparison.
Your fertility clinic would know best!

SunnySideUp2020 · 22/02/2022 14:17

I read now that 35 to 236 nmol/L is normal in the first trimester. So it looks like it's normal!

Annny27 · 22/02/2022 14:24

@sunnysideup2020 The nhs clinic were like "have you googled it"?

So super helpful 🥲🥲 thwy basically said it seems fine and Google seems to agree. Most fertility clinics want it to be above 40 so mines fine!

I am gonna do a repeat in Friday and If its lower I will ask the private clinic to help prescribe supplements

OP posts:
SunnySideUp2020 · 22/02/2022 14:27

Lol @Annny27 the Nhs asking if you google! 🤣

Yeah good that you are doing a repeat. Have you had any spotting or bad cramps?

Annny27 · 22/02/2022 14:31

Nope none of that thankfully 🙌🙌 @SunnySideUp2020

Anyway I am gonna try and push it to the back of my mind as plenty of women with lower progesterone also had successful pregnancies 🙌

How's everyone else getting on? @angelmama1121 have you told hubby?

OP posts:
Angelmama1121 · 22/02/2022 14:45

@Annny27 yes I sent him out to get the digital. Still hasn’t sunk in completely. My boobs are really painful at the moment and I’m still having some mild cramping. I need to ring my consultant after what happened with our ds. Think I’ll wait a week though.
