@Angelmama1121 @H0peing thank you. Will let you know how the scan goes this morning. Not thinking there's much to see at all at this point but hopefully they will confirm a pregnancy in the correct location.

Can I have a rant!!??

I've been told by someone in my office that she's pregnant (like 4 weeks gone). Which I'm happy for you but obviously I'm thinking when will it be my turn. Im actually late on my period but it does this to trick me! Just annoying

@Bubbles1995 rant away, that's what we are here for. It's so difficult when someone close to us gets pregnant. You want to be happy for them but it's difficult to push the hurt you feel to the side.

Had my scan this morning and it's all looking good. They have put me around the 5 week mark. Nice pregnancy sac seen in the correct place. The start of something developing within it. Was as good as it could be at this point which is great news.

@Bubbles1995 defo rant away!! I’m losing my mind with the amount of people around me who’ve got pregnant and had kids since we’ve been TTC. It’s so easy for other people! It’s genuinely sickening!! Just accept that what you’re feeling towards her is perfectly natural - give those feelings a name (like the green eyed gremlin or something - that’s mine 🤣) and when you feel those feelings just think “oh, there’s the green eyed gremlin again!” Owning your feelings is a way of diluting them 👌🏼 You can do it with all of the different feelings that pop in in this shifty journey! It defo helps!!

im 7DPO - tired after a week of trying to deal with OH and everything going on but no symptoms either way. Really emotional yesterday but probably due to being so tired!! 😵‍💫

@Kelb79 literally. My biggest thing is people saying you need to be fit you need to be thin. I'm not trying to offend anyone btw by saying this sorry if I do. I consider myself midsize and I'm told it would be better to loose weight pre conception which I'm on a lifestyle change doing so but two girls I know have got pregnant and are size 20 plus and flexed to me saying how easy it was and how you don't need to have a "healthy lifestyle" etc. I'm like anyone can get pregnant really it's just better to be healthier but just with me I struggle with food for example - body image, self sabotage through food etc so I'm finding ut hard! Yessss you'll know soon if you are or not. We're in this together!!!

@PeanuttyButter so glad it was seen in the uterus 😍😍💗 will they rescan you in a week or so to see heartbeat etc or are they happy everything's in the right place and you can do private to see heartbeat?

@Bubbles1995 it’s galling isn’t it?! Soooo many people get pregnant despite drinking, smoking, being overweight, being unhealthy…. Blah blah blah!! But if you’re “fertility challenged” you’re expected to become super healthy as if that’ll make it magically happen! I call bullshit!! I’m a yoga and Zumba instructor, I (mostly) follow a clean eating regime and throughout TTC have hardly drank, always been in the correct BMI range and made sure I’ve taken all the right supplements and it’s made no difference 🤷🏼‍♀️ TBH I stay healthy because it makes me feel better but it really slipped after my MC. I felt so let down by my body that I totally neglected it, put on about 10kg (still within my BMI range though) and stopped caring fur a while. I’m getting there with the self love again now though 🙏🏼 You do you and don’t try to confirm to anyones ideas of what you should be!!! 👌🏼😘

@Annny27 to test or not to test…. That is the question!!! I think I probably will succumb because I’d be worried about being prodded or poked if I were pregnant 🤔🤔 but I honestly don’t know what I’d do in the case of a BFP 😵‍💫 keep the consultation or not? Go to Spain or no??? It seems silly to pay for an IVF consultation while pregnant 🤣 but if it (god forbid!!!) didn’t work out then we at least would be one step forward already 🤔 I know OH would freak about me flying though so he’d probably want us to cancel even going to Spain whereas I think it’d be the perfect time for a little mini break 🤷🏼‍♀️🫣 So maybe not testing and just not knowing might be best?? But then I’d be 2 days late by the time of the consultation so I doubt my willpower would last 🤣🤣🤣

what do you guys think???? What would you do????

@Kelb79 that's the one. It's just well annoying!!! Like why can that happen for them and me just being Yanno trying my best and it doesn't happen! If you can make Spain a holiday instead of going for IVF if you are already pregnant then I'd do for it! Are you based in the Uk sorry it ive missed this!

@Angelmama1121 I feel happy too which worries me that I'm going to get hurt. I am trying to enjoy the now though and trying to enjoy being pregnant the best I can. I have however just discovered that my next scan (to determine heartbeat) is exactly 1 year to the day that we found out we lot our first one. I suddenly want to change the date of my scan but DH thinks it won't happen again.... How the hell can he be so chilled?! How are you getting on?

@PeanuttyButter I get what you mean. I’m so anxious but have decided I want to enjoy the pregnancy for as long as it lasts. Feel like I owe it to my son. Just keep telling myself this is a different pregnancy and will hopefully have a different outcome.

I understand you wanting to change the date. I think I would be thinking that way too. My dh wouldn’t though but I think men are different. They respond differently as they’re not the ones physically going through it.

I have everything crossed for you for your next scan. My next one is a week today. Xx

@PeanuttyButter Maybe you could find out if it's possible to change the date of your appointment, if you really want to? With your quickly rising hcg levels and 3+ weeks on the digital, it seems like it's all going well Xx

@PeanuttyButter definitely change that appointment if you’re uncomfortable with it!! There’s enough stress involved in that day for you 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
and I’m sure DH isn’t chilled so much as is trying to chill you 👌🏼 Mine covers all of his anxieties up in order to reassure me - when I dig I always find out he’s in just as much of an anxious mess!! 🫣

@Bubbles1995 yep, I’m in Cornwall 👍🏼 It’s soooo convenient for getting to the clinic in Spain - there are (cheap!) flights to/from twice a week from an airport 10 minutes away, more flights to/from on 2 different days 1 hour away and if none of those work there are daily flights from Bristol every day! So I know getting there won’t be an issue. Makes it all so much easier to navigate!!

8DPO and counting!! I found i was pregnant last time when I tested 2 days before a scheduled laparoscopy to rule it out… I’m obviously hoping for the same luck 🤣🤣

@Kelb79 I love Cornwall! Is the Spanish clinic meant to be better? I may have missed if you've made a comment on this one. Least it's convenient and regular flights!

@Bubbles1995 Spain is the world leader in IVF - the clinic Im going to is rated as #1! They’re especially good in difficult cases apparently - At least double the chance of success 😳 Whilst being cheaper?! It’s insane!!!!

@Kelb79 I would definitely be testing before going! It would be incredible to have to cancel because of a bfp :D

@PeanuttyButter I am the same with dates. I am so superstitious with pregnancy but in normal life I think superstition is a load of rubbish haha

I was going to book a private scan on a certain date but it turned out to be when I was the same gestation as I was when we first found out that our first baby had no heartbeat. So I changed the date haha

I've decided not to change the date. I've decided I'm not superstitious 🤣 although yes it's going to be a stressful day for sure. Least it's not the same gestation or same place so that's something. Think I'm getting a bit of nausea creeping in now too. Felt sickly last night, was gagging this morning brushing my teeth (I don't usually gag at all) and I've had that sickly hungry feeling all day.

@Kelb79 well I didn't know that! I'll have a look at that just to be nosey!

5 days late and still getting negatives. I think because I've been loosing weight it's thrown my entire cycle off

@Bubbles1995 that's really frustrating. Deffo think you should track ovulation next month. Even if it's just for 1 months to see where you are x

@PeanuttyButter I think I might once my new cycle wants to make an appearance! I've always been regular and last 3 cycles have been 28 or 30 and currently on day 35 and just started getting stomach cramps so might be starting now we will see!
