Hello. Nervously joining. I lost my son at 17 weeks in March, he had died days after my 12 week scan and I had no idea. I had medical management and have today had my first period since it all happened. I am still waiting, I have a smear next month that I want the results of before fully going for it as my last one was hpv positive and I had to miss the follow up due to pregnancy. I am gearing up ready and restarting folic acid. It's the mental preparation that daunts me, knowing that 12 weeks will no longer feel safe scares me. I'm sorry so many of us have been in this boat.

@H0peing @Sweetbabydust1989 I've had bloods yesterday that showed HCG at 34 and progesterone at 111. So no wonder I feel so rough with that level of Progesterone. They are repeating them tomorrow.

HCG more than doubled to 80, that was in 44 hours so looking positive so far

Thats great news @PeanuttyButter !! Do you have a retest again? And great news about progesterone levels :)

@Annny27 I have had it confirmed 3 times but still don't believe it I am took scared to buy anything pink yet 😂 I will believe it Tuesday I hope xx

I’ve had a ridiculous week!! Sent a message to the IVF clinic we’re considering in Spain and started a conversation. Was literally just asking questions and they booked us in for a consultation!! On the 23rd!!!! 😳😳 I haven’t even told OH this yet - easing him into the whole idea. But we’d started a conversation and we’re going to talk today.
Then, last night, he found out his dad is dying. He’s got a really difficult relationship with him and they don’t talk. It’s been his major cause of depression for a long time. So this has floored him. He’s impossible in these kind of situations, pushes me away, gets angry with me if I try to help or talk but then gets angry with me for not being there. Totally impossible!
he stayed up all night then kicked off at me completely early this morning. He’s in a total mess and I honestly don’t know what to do - but I won’t give up of course.
I feel so selfish even thinking about TTC right now but this puts everything so on hold for god knows how long that I’m scared that’s it for us 😞 I can’t even approach him with my fears as I know he’ll kick off about it. And I get it. But this is a huge part if our lives too and our time is already so limited
I just don’t know what to do here 😞

@OopsImDoingItAgain Sorry for the loss of your son. It sounds like you have had an awful experience following your 12 week scan. It can be extremely difficult to relax at any stage during pregnancy after miscarriage. Sometimes additional scans are helpful and as you get further along it can be reassuring to feel movements but all you can really do is take each day at a time, trying to keep your mind occupied on positive things as much as possible. Definitely easier said than done but this group can help you through the journey. Xx

How is everyone. Ive not rested this month but AF due either between 2-4 days. I had a weird pain underneath my belly button which was like sharp pains for a couple seconds and stopped again. Also been backed up to put it nicely for the past 10 days and now I've had loose stool this morning twice. Not sure if anyone else has had an experience like this. The toilet thing is very odd for me as I'm very regular. I've also woke up with a headache this morning and it's just beating me down again not one to get headaches.

I've got some tests on route so we will see what it says!

Also changed name from apwilso to this one! Fancied a change

HCG has almost tripled in 48 hours.. current number 226 at 15.5 dpo 😁🥳

@Bubbles1995 if its not normal for you then that sounds promising! When will you test?

@Annny27 I've tested 😂😂 bfn on easy at home. FRER had a light line but looks like indent to me

@Bubbles1995 can you post a photo of the frer? It was about 2 days after my positive FRER to get a positive on east at home.

@PeanuttyButter I may or may not have snapped it to open it up so now it's in the end hahaha! I'll do another one either tomorrow or Wednesday x

@Bubbles1995 can't believe you didn't take a picture of it. Haha my phone is full of pictures of all kinds of pee sticks. God help me if I lose my phone

@PeanuttyButter I did think that my camera roll is full of dud tests so just binned it because I thought I can't get doing with another one to add to collection!

Test from tonight I could see a faint line on it but thinking it's an indent 🙄

How many dpo do you think you are @Bubbles1995 ? I can see it without zooming in, so it's looking good so far can't see any colour on it though. How do you feel in yourself? When's AF due? Do you have any other symptoms? I've got everything crossed for you xx

@PeanuttyButter I had my 16 week scan this week and all was looking good with baby - have another one in 4 weeks and then it will just be some monitoring after that as the baby may be a small birth weight. How are you getting on with the progesterone? I am coming off them this week

@Bubbles1995 I can see that! It does look dried so obviously might be an indent. Have you restested?

@PeanuttyButter I think around 10 possibly I'm not sure though. I always get indents on FRER so I'm not convinced. I've been feeling rough. I've had this month: cramps in left ovary, nausea, tiredness, constipation and now I've developed a cold! So had it rough this month. Should between now and Friday xx

@Annny27 I think it is too to be honest. I haven't retested since might try and leave it till Friday unless at comes xx
