@PeanuttyButter How incredibly frustrating! Is it possible for a GP at your local doctor's surgery to refer you to your local hospital's early pregnancy unit? That's how I got my early scans and hcg levels tested. I'm not sure how it works in your area but I really hope you can speak to a doctor and get checked soon. Some GP's will order two sets of blood tests for your hcg levels before you get an appointment with your local EPU. How many weeks has it been since your last period (not your recent bleeding)? The earliest that you could book a private scan is usually 6 weeks. I remember being scared about ectopic with this pregnancy because of taking the progesterone only 2 days after the CB ovulation peak but I was reassured from my 6 week scan onwards. I know women who have had diarrhoea and heavy bleeding in early pregnancy with healthy pregnancies. I really hope you can get some positive answers very soon! Loads of love. Xx

Finally got a in-depth chat about my bloods. All hormones look good. Boyfriend is panicking thinking it's him now! We've got pregnant before so don't think he would be an issue I feel like it's down the timing as I'm constantly re arranging his work around it! I'm currently on slimming world loosing weight so hoping it will all be okay

@apwilso it's usually the woman as there's more things to jungle..hormones, lining etc). Sorry to say so tell him not to stress (I know it won't help him stressing). My DH has done a sample and the doctor has asked to speak with him about the result. This king of stuff really messes with men's heads.

Ordered some clear blue weeks and did one this morning to see where I am. 2-3 weeks it's showing.. I think I'm 5+2 with my peak ovulation 3 weeks ago. Trying not to stress that it's not 3+ as I've read that some people dont get that until almost week 6 at times. Just need to wait and see. My worry is that is ectopic. Hopefully the epu will scan me soon

@PeanuttyButter omg! Congratulations huni. Yes don’t stress, I never got a 3+ with my ds (I gave up doing tests at 7 weeks) but my midwife said at the time she doesn’t rate these tests as they’re not really reliable in estimating weeks.
Are you going to book in an early scan?

@peanuttybutter amazing to see a 2-3 week on a digital 🥳🥳🥳🥰🥰🥰 I think you implanted later so ita bound to take a little longer. Plus so many people have said they NEVER got 3+. I got 3+ at 6 weeks but I also didn't test before that point so don't know when it would have gone from 2-3 to 3+

And yes deffo see if you GP can refer you. I had one at 6+3 to check it was all in right place etc.

@PeanuttyButter definitely don’t stress about the dates, I think your body has got itself and you all confused! Fingers crossed you can get an early scan sorted! Don’t tell them about the 2-3 week test 🤣🤣 go by your dates!! Keep calm and carry on being pregnant 🤪🤪❤️❤️

So I’m 14DPO today BUT…. I think I OV’d early so it’s only CD24 - crazy short - I normally have a 26 day cycle. I’ve not pinpointed an early OV before so I’m not sure when to actually expect AF…. Will I get AF early ir will it stick to my usual CD26?? What’s everyone’s experience with this?? 🤔🤔 I gave up testing 2 days ago with stark white zero squinters!!

Had a scan. Pregnancy of unknown location... Repeat bloods and wait it seems.
Never thought I'd be hoping for my HCG to drop!!

@Kelb79 if I ovulate early then usually AF is early, late and it's late. You're not out until you're out x

I am sorry @PeanuttyButter that's so gutting 😪😪😪💗💗💗 is there a chance its too early for them to see anything and that a sac and embryo may grow?

@kelb79 how long is your usual luteal phase? AF would be due the same number of days after ovulation each cycle. So if ovulation date changes si will AF due date

@PeanuttyButter From what I've been told about pregnancy of unknown location at my local epu, one possibility is that it is still too early to see the gestational sac on the scan, which is common when women think they're about 5 weeks as it's difficult to be 100% sure exactly how many weeks + days you are at the beginning. I was given hcg blood tests before they offered to scan me when I took progesterone just after I thought I'd ovulated with this pregnancy because they weren't sure they'd be able to see anything on the early scan. I can imagine it's extremely challenging to be positive right now but I really hope that your pregnancy is in the right place and that it's just a bit too early to be seen on a scan. Xx

@H0peing I should be 5+3 today but on 5+1 my HCG was only 120. Last time it was 1800 at this point which is a huge discrepancy. Also my uterine lining is super thin because of the heavy bleed I've had. On tests my HCG seems to be rising but I've got repeat bloods today and we will just wait and see I suppose.

AF is threatening…. little show of blood yesterday, stopped overnight but I know I’m out, it’s just teasing me 😐 meh!!!

I know it's easier said than done but try not to stress about your precious due date. In my case the thought of it and lead up to it was worse than the thing itself xx

@PeanuttyButter I was told by my local epu that there was no point in scanning me until my hcg levels were at least around 1000-1500 as the gestational sac is too small to be seen on a scan before then. It's good that you are having your next hcg test today so that you can get some answers soon. I hope they let you know the results today. Xx

@PeanuttyButter That is really encouraging news!!! I am so happy for you to receive good news today!!! The only time that my hcg levels more than doubled when they tested them was in this pregnancy where I started taking progesterone just after ovulation and I'm almost 35 weeks now. What did they say is the next step? I guess they've encouraged you to keep taking progesterone and to take pregnancy vitamins? With me, they tried to predict when my hcg levels would get to around 1000/1500 and wanted to book me in for a scan for when they reached around that level. When I searched online, I read that sometimes a gestational sac does not show on a scan until levels are closer to 1800 so I remember wanting to leave it as long as possible for the next scan for the best chance of being able to see something. Xx

@Kelb79 but it's an attachment for good reason. I can't stop thinking about mine which was the 21st December and the what's it's are all there everyday for me. Everyone deals with it differently but of course your allowed those days. I've tried to let go a few times but it's very difficult. I guess it comes with time. @apwilso thank you 🙏🏼 ❤️ I’m still so deep in the pain, I think about it every day and end up in tears so often 😞 I’m just getting better at putting a front on it so people around me don’t worry. My partner would stop TTC if he knew the pain I was still in! It’s more important to him that I’m OK than that we have children - he really doesn’t want me to ever have to go through that pain again. But I’m stuck in it 😵‍💫 I feel that getting pregnant again is the only solution but that’s not exactly an easy thing to realise! 😫 it’s just so so unfair!

@Kelb79 I know what you mean about still being deep in the Iain. Even though my DS’s due date has been and gone I still think about him and the what ifs everyday. It kills me sometimes. I too have learnt to put on a front for everyone. It’s so hard but like you say they’d just worry about us constantly wouldn’t they? Also here if you need to talk to someone. Do you what you need to do to get through the date and take it at your own pace. 💖

@Kelb79 yea I'm not saying it was an easy day or that it all goes away afterwards. I keep thinking I should have a 14 week old baby by now, or be 36 weeks with my second, or 18 weeks with my third. Will always be thinking about when I would have found out the sex, when they would have been 1, or started school...turned 18 etc. Just be easy on yourself that's all you can do. The beauty of this group is that no matter where we all our in our journey we can all understand how your feeling and have felt it ourselves. It's a safe space to vomit out your feelings xxx

So had repeat bloods and a scan yesterday. HCG has more than doubled again but still on the low side of normal. Nothing to be seen on scan till but they said the HCG is too low at this point. I would have thought at 5+6 they would have seen a sac at least..so still pregnancy of unknown location. Repeat bloods tomorrow, horrible being in limbo
