It really sucks to be in limbo! @peanuttybutter i hope that you ovulated late , the bleeding you had was implantation bleeding and are therefore only just approaching 5 weeks 🤞🤞🤞

Nope it's not good but I think I'm no longer in limbo. Had cramps that have been getting worse all day, got to the point they were that bad I've had to leave work. Got home and I've started bleeding so I think this is the end (again..). It will be both a relief when it's over (it's horrible cramps at the moment and didn't want it to be ectopic) but also sad as part of me wondered at the back of my mind if this was going to end up being my rainbow. Very much doubt it now. Hopefully cramping won't get worse or I might have to consider a trip to A&E but don't know what they would do other than send me to the EPU in the morning and do bloods. But I've got bloods in the morning anyway. Thank you all for your well wishes this group is amazing.

@PeanuttyButter I’m so sorry to hear this. Sending you my love hun. 😘😘

H0peing · 06/04/2022 15:09

@PeanuttyButter It's terrible that you're going through all of this. I guess paracetamol may help a little bit for the pain. If you do need to go to A & E then I hope you can avoid them getting you to do a pregnancy test if you've already recently been to the toilet. This happened to me once and obviously I wasn't happy about it as pregnancy tests won't always give you an accurate result if you're in early pregnancy and have recently emptied your bladder just before you take their test. The hospital pregnancy tests also sometimes require a higher hcg level than some home pregnancy tests. I'm not sure what your local A & E is like but they wouldn't offer me a hcg blood test at mine. The Doctor told me that all he could do was offer me a pregnancy test and if it was negative then he could prescribe strong painkillers. If it was positive then I would have to wait for my next appointment with the epu anyway. I hope you get confirmation about what's happening very soon and I am really hoping it works out in the best way possible. Xx

PeanuttyButter · 06/04/2022 17:50

My urine tests were strong even this morning even though I had all that cramping and the bleed yesterday. Anyways my blood test today shows my HCG has dropped significantly so that's the end of that. Just wait till the bleeding stopped. I think with how much it dropped and the pain I was in yesterday I must have passed it. They can't offer any medical management or anything as it's still classed as a pregnancy of unknown location so just need to let my body do it's thing. Re test in 7 days...

@PeanuttyButter I’m so very sorry for your loss 💖💖

Kelb79 · 06/04/2022 20:02

@PeanuttyButter oh huni 💔💔💔 I can’t tell you how sorry I am. This is so utterly shit!!! So horribly unfair!! How actually are you? No matter how much you tell yourself not to you’ll always get your hopes up - that’s natural when it’s something you want so badly, we all know that. Even I feel angry at the universe for the crap you’ve had to go through. Stay strong lovely, look after you right now however you need to, we’re here for you xxxxxxxxxxxxx

I finally got two lines…… on a bloody covid test! DP too! Right at the start of OV week 🙄 As if either one of us are gonna manage to find the effort to BD when just leaving the sofa is a huge mission! And my cat had what we think was a seizure last night 😕 not a brilliant week!!

But one thing did make me smile - I just ran a bath and the bubbles made me a giant penis - I had to share it to make you all smile through potentially crappy days 😉

PeanuttyButter · 06/04/2022 20:17

Thank you all for your support it really means a lot. I'm taking a few days off work to try and get back to 'normal'. It's certainly been a horrible rollercoaster ride, never thought I'd be hoping for HCG levels to disappear.
Sorry you've got covid @Kelb79 look after yourself and take it easy. Maybe be vigilant in with the OPKs and only DTD when you think you need to and not just incase. Hope your cat is ok, sending hugs. Our pets are so much part of the family and ourselves it's horrible when something happens to them.

PeanuttyButter · 07/04/2022 12:01

Anyone experience lactation with their miscarriages? This is a new one for me...

Annny27 · 07/04/2022 21:30

@peanutttbutter that's not something I have heard of! Probably should ask gp about it. Hope you are okay 💙

@Kelb79 before I even read your comment I thought the same thing about the bath photo haha! Sorry you both have covid!! Sucks :(

@PeanuttyButter I am extremely sorry for your loss. Such a horrendously heartbreaking roller coaster. I'm glad you are having time off work as you definitely need it after what you've just been through and are still going through. You might already be aware but there are a few helplines available, which you might find helpful, such as:

www.miscarriageassociation.org.uk/how-we-help/helpline/

Hoping you can get all of the support you need through this and I'm not sure if it will help but maybe even some sort of pamper day at some point in the near future to allow you some time out to be spoilt with a relaxing massage or something comes to mind.

Yes, you definitely have a team of virtual sisters on this group who are here for you.

Sending loads of love. Xxx

H0peing · 08/04/2022 07:32

@Kelb79 sorry you have Covid. I hope you make a swift recovery xxxxx

Equimum · 08/04/2022 18:26

I am so sorry PeanuttyButter, your experience sounds particularly cruel. I hope you are getting plenty of support and managing to rest.

Sorry you've got covid Kelb79. I hope you aren't my too poorly, despite the terrible timing.

Kelb79 · 08/04/2022 18:56

@PeanuttyButter how you doing lovely? Thinking of you ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks gang, covid sucks! Defo no BD’ing happening here any time soon, I actually wanna kill DP rather than kiss him right now!! 🙄 why are they so damn annoying when they’re ill?? CD7 so need to change the atmosphere in this place soon!! 🙈🙈

PeanuttyButter · 08/04/2022 21:28

Thank you everyone for your support it really means a lot. I think people in my everyday life who haven't experienced anything like this assume it's just 'another one' and doesn't understand how much it hurts. Like we should be used to it by now.
I'm craving attention and closeness from DH at the moment but he isn't interested in me in that way. I think this last one has hit him hard.
Anyone know when they ovulated/had a period after a natural loss? I've only known from my surgeries and in those cases my HCG was gone within a week, I don't think it's gonna be the case now and want to be prepared so I'm not disappointed.

Kelb79 · 08/04/2022 22:34

@PeanuttyButter oh bless you! It’s so tough when people don’t understand, but they really can’t. I know I never would have 😞 can you talk to DH? I know how much mine suffered after our MC and more so because he saw how in pain I was - he drew back quite a lot too but we managed to get talking and it really helped. They are the one person going through the same as we are ❤️❤️❤️

H0peing · 08/04/2022 23:09

@PeanuttyButter That is one of the things I love about this group because we all have a personal idea of what each-other are going through and I think it's just about impossible to have any understanding of what someone is going through without personal experience of pregnancy loss/losses. I found it really hard to get what I felt I needed from my DH each time it happened. Men often seem to process the loss differently. You have both been through such a heartbreaking journey.

I had a natural loss each time and had hot, lavendar scented, candlelit baths with wine each time I knew that it had happened. I just found that to be my main way of relaxing each time but I guess the wine and very hot water may have helped the hcg levels to go down quicker. I'm not sure really but pregnancy tests were always negative within a week.

During my last loss of what looked like twins (two gestational sacs were seen on an EPU scan but within a few days of bleeding and contraction-like pain only one, squashed looking sac was seen and my hcg levels were down to 2), I was just under 6 weeks pregnant. The good news from this particular part of my story is that, although my hcg levels were down to 2 on Friday 6th August, less than 2 weeks later on Thursday 19th August I had a peak day smiley face on a CB digital ovulation kit (pink one) and took my 1st progesterone pessary for that cycle two days later just before I went to bed on Saturday 21st August. I know it can be different for everyone but I'd heard that sometimes your body ovulates quickly after a loss so we decided to treat the heavy bleeding and hcg level of 2 as a period rather than having a break from trying like we had done before. That resulted in my current pregnancy and I'm currently about a week away from being what I'm told is classed as full term (37 weeks).

I am still very hopeful that you'll have your rainbow baby / babies if you can find the strength to keep trying. I know that I felt extremely close to giving up.
Sending loads of love. Xx

PeanuttyButter · 09/04/2022 09:29

@H0peing I remember you losing the twins and I remember that you got pregnant with your rainbow shortly afterwards. That month you got pregnant I also got pregnant with my second but lost it at 9 weeks, I remember praying for you. So happy for you that your rainbow is almost here xx

H0peing · 09/04/2022 12:50

@PeanuttyButter Thank you. I remember your devastating loss at 9 weeks. One of the reasons I keep coming back to this group is because I am looking forward to seeing you and others here experiencing the joy of finally getting to meet your rainbow 🌈 babies xxxx

Kelb79 · 09/04/2022 19:17

❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ you guys make me know I’m not alone - that helps so much with this crappy journey. TTC can really alienate you from the people around you - even your partner! Even they can’t entirely understand 😕

Anyone ever had any brownish discharge in the days before OV?? I’m CD8 - not started OPK testing yet but expect OV between CD10-12 and just got a show of really unusual discharge 🤔🤔 anything you do with Covid maybe??

PeanuttyButter · 09/04/2022 19:44

@Kelb79 you can get some spotting with ovulation I think. X

Kelb79 · 10/04/2022 13:46

I totally messed up 🙈 tried to get DP in the mood by waking him up with a Sunday morning massage - worked a blinder…, totally got him in the mood…. But Far too quickly!!!! 🙈 took us both by surprise and wasted the load 🤣 ffs!!
CD9 today - OV due in next couple of days!! Definitely don’t wanna be wasting precious cargo!! Idiot!!! 😐

PeanuttyButter · 10/04/2022 17:52

Haha @Kelb79 it's happened to us all. Still plenty of time x

Sweetbabydust1989 · 10/04/2022 18:57
