@Cruz86 💕thank you thank you. This thread was one of the first ones I properly got into and you and the other lady were there from the beginning of it. I'm so happy. 💕💕💕 got my 2-3 digi yesterday. Wooooo

Cruz86 · 19/06/2022 10:38

Honestly, I'm so thrilled for you @FlyOnTheWall89. Welcome to the pregnant club eeeek!! I can't wait to follow your journey ❤️❤️ How are you feeling? X

@Cruz86 ekkkk. I'm definitely feel quite worried about a MC which I think I probably feel more worried about because of mumsnet and the amount of people I've interacted with who have experienced them.

I usually sleep through the night and I've woken up at 3am on the dot pretty much every night since I found out. I think that's probably a pregnancy thing. I can feel a bit bloated. More hungry than normal even after I've eaten. Boobs feel hot but are not really that tender except on the side a bit. My OH goes away for 2 weeks - the day before he leaves I'll be 6+5 ... trying to decide if to go for a reassurance scan. What do you think?

Cruz86 · 20/06/2022 08:57

I completely get that @FlyOnTheWall89. It is great that people are openly talking about their miscarriage experiences now, but it puts it on people's minds so much more as well 😞

Ahh, early pregnancy insomnia and bloating - both lovely symptoms 🤣 I would personally say that it should be okay at 6+5, if you're relatively sure on the dates. It just depends on how you would be if your scan showed the fetal pole but no heartbeat yet. I think I was about that gestation when I saw the heartbeat in this pregnancy for the first time x

Hi @FlyOnTheWall89 and @Ladylou17, just checking in to see how you're both getting on? Xx

Hey @Cruz86 all going good thank you 🤞7+5 today had a scan last week baby had a little heartbeat and all looked ok. Thank god, just taking each day as it comes. Morning or should I say all day sickness is rough but I don’t mind feeling very grateful. How are you?xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/06/2022 06:03

Hi @Cruz86 all going okay here so far 🤞🏻. I think I'm about 6+3 ish. Feeling waves of nausea now as well as not sleeping great, being quite bloated, feeling tired - all that good stuff 😂. I am also blocked up / v sniffy and have been since I got my BFP so I think it's pregnancy related. Scan on Friday morning which I'm so anxious about - were you nervous too @Ladylou17 ? So pleased you got to see a heartbeat! Hoping I do but not 100% on dates so keeping expectations low. When are you due @Cruz86 xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 29/06/2022 06:03

Oh and I got my 3+ digi yesterday which gave me a bit more confidence x

Ladylou17 · 29/06/2022 08:19

@FlyOnTheWall89 thats great news. I think I went at 5+4 for my first scan and saw the sac and yolk sac and 10 days later saw a baby and a heartbeat so hopefully you will 💜 excited for you. I have another scan in 2 weeks and think will relax then booking appt with midwife next week xx

Ladylou17 · 29/06/2022 08:21

@FlyOnTheWall89 im very stuffy too especially at night can’t sleep well xx

Cruz86 · 29/06/2022 09:05

Ahh that's amazing @Ladylou17, congratulations! Eurgh, the sickness is just horrible isn't it. Is it nausea or are you throwing up as well?

@FlyOnTheWall89 yay, 3+ is always a good sign for me. Good luck with your scan on Friday, sending positive thoughts 🥰

Stuffiness is definitely a pregnancy symptom! I had to blow my nose multiple times a day up until recently, so annoying 😂

I'm good thank you! Due on the 4 November so I'm 21+5 today. Had my 20 week scan last week and all looked great. Not feeling as tired anymore either 🙌🏻

What would your due dates be based on your dates?

Xx

OP posts:
Mama500 · 29/06/2022 09:37

Oh wow congratulations!! @Cruz86

I didn’t find out I love the surprise (as if 2 wasn’t surprise enough)

its definitely different but a blessing all the same. Limbs everywhere haha

Cruz86 · 02/07/2022 17:51

Thank you @Mama500!! I also love a surprise so it's exciting you didn't find out 😁 just thought it was best for us so we could prepare our son a little more. I bet you've got limbs everywhere! I'm uncomfortable now so can't imagine what it's like for you 😂

How did your scan go @FlyOnTheWall89?

Xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 02/07/2022 18:13

@Mama500 I didn't realise you were having twins 😍, wow!

@Cruz86 it went so well. All looking perfect at this point with a nice strong heartbeat. Feeling so relieved. One of my closest girlfriends told me she is pregnant too and I think we are about 4 days apart!!! So that is exciting.

Cruz86 · 04/07/2022 09:24

Oh that's absolutely amazing @FlyOnTheWall89!! I'm so happy for you. And to be going through it with your close friend as well 🥰 did they give you rough dates? X

OP posts:
FlyOnTheWall89 · 04/07/2022 19:37

@Cruz86 she said between 20th - 23rd February. My apps says 20th / 21st so all lines up and as I wasn't tracking, I think we will get something more accurate when the bean has grown a bit more than a few mm! So my next appointment is 20th July, which is with the midwife - do you know if that first midwife appointment will be when they do the bloods for sickle cell and the other one? X

Ladylou17 · 14/07/2022 13:23

Hey @Cruz86 @Mama500 @FlyOnTheWall89 @Janey3090 how are you all doing?
had a scan yesterday measuring 10+4 all looking good and baby wiggling around, hope you all are ok xx

Janey3090 · 14/07/2022 13:39

Hi @Ladylou17 huge congratulations on your pregnancy! Hope you're feeling good

It's been lovely to scroll through just now and see success stories, hope everyone else is doing good too 💗

I'm actually doing very well, it's a bit of a story really... In March we were referred by my doctor to a fertility specialist to try Clomid etc and then potentially IVF if that didn't work, as four months of blood tests in a row showed no evidence of ovulation. DH's second sperm analysis was all good so the referral was just for me.

I mentally started preparing myself that it could be the end of the year before I had a chance of a BFP. However, I got the shock of my life on 27th April when I found out I was pregnant!! I hadn't been feeling myself for a couple of days, had a very light period (which I now know was implantation bleeding) so decided to take a test and it was positive. Now I'm just about 15 weeks along and feeling good 😊 xx

Ladylou17 · 14/07/2022 13:49

Oh my gosh @Janey3090 that’s so exciting!
congratulations. You have a very similar story to me 🥰 so happy for you. Are you going to find out what you’re having? I’m good thank you just riding through the nausea- I’m hoping I’m nearing the end of it 🤞
@Lucyasc how are you doing?xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 14/07/2022 14:13

Such great news @Janey3090 ! Lovely to hear you had a positive scan @Ladylou17. I feel the need for another one asap. I'm so bad at thinking I've had a MMC and I'm finding the anxiety of it all really overwhelming. The first worry was getting pregnant and now staying pregnant is on my mind the whole time.

Lucyasc · 14/07/2022 15:49

@Ladylou17 hi lovely congrats to everyone on your pregnancies! thanks for asking, I'm doing ok we are still trying at the moment I'm finding it really hard everyone I know is either trying or has a baby and it's too much for me. One of the girls at work is pregnant and I can hear her whispering about it its difficult. I'm trying to lose some weight to see if they helps as I know the doctor will say I'm overweight which I'm aware of. Feeling quite hopeless about it month after month getting my period I'm sure everyone knows the feeling! Going to make an appointment tomorrow with the doctor x

Ladylou17 · 14/07/2022 16:02

@FlyOnTheWall89 i know what you mean, it’s so hard even with scans you still worry straight after that all is fine it’s a rollercoaster of emotions isn’t it.
@Lucyasc I definitely know how you feel it’s so hard, it’s crushing every month isn’t it. sending love xx I would speak to the doctor even if its just blood tests it will reassure you I’m sure. I’ll be waiting to see your positive test on here very soon 💜 xx

Lucyasc · 14/07/2022 18:23

@Ladylou17 thank you very much appreciate your kindness sorry about the negativity was feeling low earlier about it all. How are you? X
