@Ladylou17 @Mama500 @FlyOnTheWall89 @Lucyasc @FlipperyGibbet

Just started this new thread because ours is full. Hope the name change isn't confusing 😂 Tagging you too @rita83 if you ever pop back in to say hi! Have I missed anyone? I'm so rubbish with my memory 🤦🏼‍♀️ x

@Cruz86 I'd estimate around day 12-15 in my cycle but then I'm not too sure as I've never used OPKs before so that's just an estimate based on symptoms and the tracking apps! The last year they have been an average of 29 days xx

FlyOnTheWall89 · 22/02/2022 06:03

@Ladylou17 oh sorry hun. Definitely have a few glasses of something.

@Lucyasc I'm day 5 too! I think for a 29 day cycle, you're more likely to ovulate around 14/15. When I have 29 days, I get a day 14 positive.

@Cruz86 how many DPO are you now?

I'll update you once I've spoken to the hospital. X

Mama500 · 22/02/2022 07:23

Morning ladies

Sorry I went quiet having a bit of spotting so I’m a bit all over the place

@Ladylou17 gutted for you I’m so sorry I definitely think you should make an appointment with your GP.

@Cruz86 @Janey3090 how are you ladies

@FlyOnTheWall89 amazing news about your appointment- good luck!

Mama500 · 22/02/2022 07:24

Sorry @Lucyasc I’m awful at tagging! How are you?

FlyOnTheWall89 · 22/02/2022 07:36

Hi @Mama500 how are you feeling? What is your instinct? Keeping everything crossed for you? Such a scary time when that happens.

Ladylou17 · 22/02/2022 07:54

@Lucyasc the easy at home work fine with pre mom that's what I use. Don't take one first thing in the morning wait till after 11am and again in the evening.
Thanks @Mama500 how are you doing? I think a little bit of spotting can be common so try not to worry. I know that's easy enough to say! If it's quite a bit maybe ask your gp if they'll give you progesterone?xx

Cruz86 · 22/02/2022 07:54

Yeah I'd say if you can, start doing 2 tests a day from cd10 at the earliest @Lucyasc ☺️

Apparently I'm 7dpo @FlyOnTheWall89 but I'm not convinced I've ovulated this month. My temps are all over the place 😩 good luck with your consultation!

Oh no @Mama500! How are you doing? Have you spoken to your gp or anything yet? X

Thanks everyone! I spotted with my mmc and with my ds so I’m not sure

Had a scan yesterday and measuring a bit behind so just sack and yolk sack so I’ve just got to stay hopeful and wait for another scan in 2 weeks.

Feeling sick so that’s positive lol

Cruz86 · 22/02/2022 08:23

Oh I'm so sorry you're going through this @Mama500. Those 2 weeks are absolute torture aren't they. What are you supposed to be and what have they measured you at? X

OP posts:
Mama500 · 22/02/2022 08:26

@Cruz86 yes I’ve been here before so I’m trying to handle it a lot better than I did the first time!

Between 5 and 5 and a half and my tracker makes me 6 tomorrow.

They were hopeful…

Janey3090 · 22/02/2022 08:26

Morning ladies! Thanks for checking in. Had my scan yesterday afternoon - sadly the cyst is still there but hasn't grown at all so that's good. As it's a simple cyst they are quite hopeful it will resolve, so I'll wait for my NHS scan in May.

I've been struggling with anovulatory cycles, but have been pretty sure I have ovulated the last couple of months. The Dr yesterday managed to see a corpus luteum in my good ovary which confirms that I did ovulate this month! 7DPO now based on my OPK. Feeling quite sick and tired but could be pre-period symptoms, who knows!

Either way I'm so happy as it has confirmed I am ovulating, so there is a chance I could get pregnant soon Smile x

Lucyasc · 22/02/2022 08:47

@Mama500 hope you're doing ok, have you spoken to your GP? X
@Janey3090 sorry to hear about the cyst but that's great news you've been ovulating you must feel so relieved! Fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻
Thank you everyone for your advice really appreciate it 😊 xx

Cruz86 · 22/02/2022 11:08

I can't imagine going through it again @Mama500 😞 That doesn't seem like too much of a disparity between what you think and what they've measured. And it's such early days so it's much harder to get accurate measures at this point isn't it. When's your follow up scan?

@Janey3090 glad to hear your cyst isn't causing any issues and that you are ovulating! Are you going to test in a couple of days? X

OP posts:
Ladylou17 · 22/02/2022 11:25

@Mama500 I can imagine it's 2 weeks of torture waiting. Did they do any bloods? Is the spotting minimal? Sending a big hug I'm sure all is well they are just getting nice and comfy in there 😘 xx

Ladylou17 · 22/02/2022 11:26

@Janey3090 glad to hear the cyst hasn't grown. Crossing everything for you this month xx

Janey3090 · 22/02/2022 11:38

Thanks so much @Ladylou17 @Cruz86 @Lucyasc Flowers
Going to try and hold out to 11 or 12DPO to test. It's so hard waiting though! Is anyone else due to test soon?

@Mama500 keeping everything crossed for you, must be so tough waiting. Sending hugs! xx

Cruz86 · 22/02/2022 11:47

Yes me @Janey3090! I'm 7dpo too and have already tested hahaha x

OP posts:
Janey3090 · 22/02/2022 15:10

@Cruz86 haha it's so hard not too though! And to not be thinking of every little symptom as a possible sign of pregnancy, even though they are sooo similar to pre-period.

'm going to try and hold on as I've read ovulation is most likely to occur day 9-10. Bet I cave by then though! x

FlyOnTheWall89 · 22/02/2022 15:57

A little update...

I had the call and due to SA results we would get immediate access to funding for IVF. The doctor said we didn't need to use it now, we could try for a bit longer, but they would apply for it anyway and then we can activate it. He wasn't worried by AMH at all. He said luckily you're only 32 which I found reassuring and he said all looked normal in my side. He would like me to have a HSG to flush my tubes and check the shape of my womb so that is being booked in. Feels good to have a plan and having spoken to a medical professional to confirm that all results are okay my end.

Cruz86 · 22/02/2022 22:09

Exactly @Janey3090! I literally think every little thing is associated with pregnancy 🤦🏼‍♀️ keep us updated with how you get on!

@FlyOnTheWall89 that sounds like a great outcome to the call!! How are you feeling about everything? X

OP posts:
FlyOnTheWall89 · 23/02/2022 06:39

@Cruz86 it feels good to be able to see light at the end of the tunnel. It's a relief to be told everything is normal my side, inc AMH and he was quite drank about SA which is sometimes what one needs I think. Natural conception would be a bonus and it's what we want, but we will start IVF this year sometime if that doesn't happen.

Ladylou17 · 23/02/2022 07:09

That's amazing @FlyOnTheWall89 bet it's such a relief to get the ball moving xx

Cruz86 · 23/02/2022 12:53

Yes I think too many people can fluff around the realities sometimes can't they @FlyOnTheWall89 . So have you had a think about how long you'll give it before you go down the ivf route? X

OP posts:
FlyOnTheWall89 · 23/02/2022 13:36

@Cruz86 @Ladylou17 so good to get it all moving. I think maybe the summer but we are away a lot in July / August so we will need to have decide if we do it before or after I think. Maybe by then, we will have a BFP anyway! Let's hope! X

Cruz86 · 23/02/2022 14:21

Ah I'm so glad you have a clear path forward @FlyOnTheWall89! I can't imagine the relief you must feel x
