Hi girls! Sadly I got my hopes up too much this month, AF arrived yesterday (day 11). Had quite a few tears yesterday but feeling a lot better today and more positive! I have another scan on 21st Feb to see if the cyst has shrunk at all, but if it's grown may look at getting it removed. Either way need it gone so I can be ovulating every month! x

Oh bless you @Cruz86 it's so hard. Definitely keep pushing the GP - my luteal phase can sometimes be 7/8 days and my blood tests were coming back similar (progesterone not quite high enough) which is why I then paid for further private tests, and found I'm only ovulating half the time due to a cyst so that's when I have the short cycles.

Not suggesting this will be the case here - may be another reason - but there will be something they can do about it for you I'm 100% sure Flowers xx

@Janey3090 good luck with the scan
@Cruz86 how long is your LP usually?
@Lucyasc it's really hard but I think keeping busy planning nice things and not letting your mind get heavy with thoughts of ttc. I do yoga as well which helps xx

Cruz86 · 28/01/2022 18:17

If anyone has the answer to that @Lucyasc, please let me know 😂 I get so stressed and it consumes my life!

Sorry to hear that @Janey3090. I'm also feeling sorry for myself as af has shown up with a vengeance today. It is so painful. Let us know how your scan goes and good luck with it. Fingers crossed the cyst isn't there!

I can't afford private tests/treatment at the moment so I've bought some vitex to see if it helps with my progesterone, until my gynae referral comes through x

Hey everyone! Thanks for setting up the new thread @Cruz86

No tips I'm afraid @Lucyasc I used to really struggle with people telling me to "just relax" as I do think it's impossible to when your own body goes through changes week by week.

I've had a tough couple of days, am convinced I've lost the baby but don't have any specific reason. I think the fact it was a mmc last time has made me realise that there can sometimes be literally no sign. I don't seem to have any symptoms, apart from being incredibly emotional!

Hi everyone, sorry I've been quiet. Just kept myself busy during af and I'm absolutely shattered as well 😂 On day 5 so hopefully it will ease off soon. I think my fw falls over Valentines so hopefully hubby will get carried away with himself and not worry so much about the potential due date 😆

@FlipperyGibbet sorry to hear you're finding things tough. How has everything been over the weekend?

@Mama500 you must be in your TWW now?!

@Ladylou17 @Lucyasc happy fw to you both 🙌🏻 xx

Hi guys! I think I lost this board briefly but it's been a quiet week for this chatty bunch.

FW here too although obvs not much chance of anything for a while!

@FlipperyGibbet how are you feeling now?

@Cruz86 V-day is a great cover haha. Hope you're doing okay! Any further info re progesterone test? Will you get it redone? X

Report
Cruz86 · 01/02/2022 20:27

Yes sorry @FlyOnTheWall89, I changed the name because we chat throughout our cycles, not just in the TWW 😂 How are you doing? Are you still going to be trying or are you taking a little break? Sorry, I'm not very au fait with SA and counts etc. Do they give you a % chance of conceiving for example? Feel free to tell me to bugger off too!!

I've still got my private progesterone test as I managed to get this one done on the nhs, so I'll do that at 5dpo this cycle. Although I'm only going to be temping this month so hopefully that'll be enough to give me an accurate ovulation day! X

Oh that's good @Cruz86 - you'll feel much better having had 2 done.

Well we will still be having unprotected sex so I guess there is always a chance but they are very very very slim...Im gong to call our private healthcare tomorrow and see if anything at all is covered. In a way, I feel like these months trying have been wasted but I'm trying to stay positive!

@Cruz86 No I don't think supplements will be, but another lady said her consultation was 80% covered so that would be something. We have pretty comprehensive cover so I guess it is worth checking :-). x

@Cruz86 I’ve been a bit crampy not sure if that’s in my head and also moody and hungry haha

How are you?

@FlyOnTheWall89 I’m sorry thing are hard right now. What are your next steps? Honestly stay positive it’s amazing what supplements and a healthy diet can do. Have you a copy of your SA. Did they give you a list of suppliments that help certain things like mobility? I know zinc is good I always make OH take it when ttc xx

Also I’m sure you’ve heard this but no hot baths for OH, no phones in pockets or laptop on lap. @FlyOnTheWall89 I went to see a fertility acupuncture after my mmc and she was so informative

FlyOnTheWall89 · 02/02/2022 11:17

@Mama500 we have been referred to a fertility clinic so we are just waiting for a letter in the post.

We are both very fit and healthy, I cook everything from scratch so no concerns there. He doesn't do laptop on lap or any hot tubs or anything like that. Morphology is the really bad one. Motility was way above average and then sperm count was below average but not terrible. You get a nice detailed breakdown but zero advice so it's all been on us to work out the best things to take. Yes, hopefully with lots of supplements we can get this all up a bit. We plan to see a urologist in late February and we will have to see what happens re NHS referral- it may take ages in which case, we may go private but we want to give the supplements a bit of time before we go down the medical intervention route. So frustrating because it is all so time based!

Luckily lots of people conceive with low morphology and lots wouldn't know they have it so I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a miracle, but I think it will be a long journey ahead.

Hoping someone gets their BFP on here soon so I can share in the excitement!!! X
