Continuation of our last thread…

All of us TTC and in different cycles and stages of our journey.

Helping eachother through the TWW, through the confusing days of OPK/BBT testing and charts, through all of the symptom spotting, the dreaded arrival of AF and the BFP announcements! 😊✨

January was a very lucky month for some who got their BFP and some of us are ready to make February our month!

And yes as @Newbiemg says it only works if you do it as soon as you wake up - my alarm goes off and I stick the thermometer straight in my mouth. And yeah if I wake up early (like this morning I woke up at 6 instead of 7) I just take it then.

@RMS0209 I know same! We need off the rollercoaster and onto a nice slow merry go round or something lol

Mine a Femometer BBT one. Was only cheap from Amazon but works well I think. It stores your readings too incase you take it and forget to put it into the app

It wish @RMS0209!! So much eating and drinking. I feel like a detox is needed now. I’m CD8 with ov expected around Valentine’s. So romantic 😂 are you similar?? I got the easy@home thermometer just to be consistent (and it had the best reviews that I could see on Amazon without spending an arm and a leg). I’m only doing it to see if ov happens every month/which it doesn’t, and see if there are any rises in the LP so I can get overexcited 😂

Oh and another reason. I think you have to do BBT to get the 9 cycle money back guarantee on the Premom app!!

Thank you for the welcome! I've had a really really weekend. On Friday I got a super faint line on couple of tests and spent the day debating if it was + or indents etc. Took more tests on Saturday and could still see something but it was fainter.

Saturday evening I had the worst cramps in my back I've had in years it felt like the very first bit of labour and then Sunday morning af was here so I have no idea what the hell went on this cycle?

To top it off last night I tested + for Covid which I'm gutted about because it messed my cycle up last time I had it and this evening my sis has sent me her scan pic of her pregnancy (so happy for her and not jealous just wish we were going through it together).

I'm currently cd2 and this will be our 5th TTC and I really really want it to happen soon as I'm 36 and partner is 42 so I'm a little worried about our fertility now we're older as it was 7 years ago we conceived our son.

Thanks for having me and it's so nice to talk to other people during all this as I've only told 1 friend we're TTC ❤️

@jd1985 Sorry to hear that you’re having some tough cycles and I hope you’re not feeling too unwell with covid. @RMS0209 is going through similar due to covid. Hopefully it won’t mess with your cycle too much. Will keep everything crossed for you and feel free to rant/vent to us whenever you feel the need.

I had an odd cycle last cycle. No illness and I’m not sure what happened but my normal 30 day cycle became a 26 day cycle with only a 9 day luteal phase and my ovulation date was later than normal. I don’t know what caused it but I was in everyday panicking and asking questions. Everyone’s super supportive. Sending you lots of luck this cycle ✨

Lovely to have you @jd1985 and sorry to hear about painful period and confusing tests. I had a similar thing happen last month. I'm also 36 and my coparent is in his 50s so neither of us are spring chickens 🐓 so sorry to hear about the covid and hope it doesn't make you too poorly!

I now have tonnes of EWCM and am stressed about not being able to inseminate again until wed eve! Oh well. Trying to remind myself that we did what we could this weekend and I haven't actually ovulated yet so chances are the egg will still be there wed.

Thanks everyone! 😊✨ Tested again this morning and had the BFP confirmed by a CB weeks indicator. Still early days but cautiously optimistic.

@pops100 haven't come up with a better plan for letting OH know than the one I mentioned before so I'll let you know his reaction 😂

Aw thank you @smd16 😄 Only 13 dpo, AF was due yesterday and I'm exactly 4w today going by my last period. Won't feel confidently settled in it for a while I think! Xx

@Newbiemg flashy again today.... holding it together not to throw that smiling face across the room 😂 was 0.12 on cheapie this morning too and totally forgot and been drinking a lot today so won't be until tonight if I am testing again.. not feeling hopeful this month but still being semi optimistic

Hey everyone, sorry for the radio silence. I have been sad lol. WHY AM I NOT PREGNANT YET, that's basically what I have been shouting for the last 6 days lol.

But AF has F'ed off now and I feel much better. CD7 of cycle 6 TTC, due to O next Wednesday 😊

I don’t know what is going on with my body it seems to be all over the place but I think I just had some good CM. Like clear watery and abit stretchy but not ewcm. It was a small amount but I get excited by even a small amount because usually I get nothing without internally checking (sorry tmi lol). Only CD9 today though so abit early for ovulation etc and opks still negative but I’m trying to be optimistic that maybe something better will happen this cycle compared to the last car crash cycle lol

Nothing exciting for me today just working. Having my hair done later though which is always nice to have fresh new hair 💇🏼‍♀️

Everyone with the clear blue Opk test thing do you do that once you finish your af with the strips too? I'm conscious it's so bloody expensive to use everyday or shall I wait till I should get my 'fertile window' to start using the clear blue one?

@Pops100 on the clear blue pack in the leaflet it will tell you which day to start depending on your cycle length but because my cycles aren’t the same I just start the day after AF. You are supposed to go by your shortest cycle in the last 6 cycles to see which day to start. The machine needs to pick up your baseline so I think it’s better if you do it before your fertile window but you should be able to start later than the day after AF

It's frustrating isn't it @RMS0209 - am in the same boat (flashing smiley and low ish OPK) but I've booked my train to coparent's house for tomorrow and just hoping the timing is okay. At least you don't have to travel 100 miles when you get your peak 😂 I haven't chosen the easiest route to TTC

@Pops100 I don't start the clearblue tests until I'm in my fertile window tbh. I usually start them on the first day of my fertile window according to apps. They are like £2 each so feel like I don't want to waste them! If I am concerned and want to test earlier I just do a cheap OPK

As well this might be why I get 500 flashing faces coz I start too early 😂

@lakejupiter the worst! How low are your cheapie OPK's today? That flashy smiley face is mocking me I think 🤔 😂
As I say though going to just try DTD every 2 days.
What CD are you again? I'm CD15 now.. but maybe the extra days of AF has put me behind a bit!

@Newbiemig the hatred for the smileys! I bought the pink CD but thought I still have sticks left for the purple so be aswell use them.. wish I never now 😂
Getting hair done will be nice, nice and relaxing 💇‍♀️ I'm going out with friends from work on Friday so got that to look forward to atleast x
